Disgraceful senior staff behaviour
Starbucks Drive through store - Blyth (just off A1)
I visited the store last Saturday, nothing out of the ordinary, this store is usually a firm favourite of mine to visit but after this I will not be returning. I have spent some time thinking should I write this review or not - but I would rather folk are aware.
Whilst I was greeted with the usual friendly service of the young girls and boys working. The trouble only started when I was sat inside peacefully drinking my coffee. There seemed to be chatter among the staff members (which I do usually listen into and have a giggle to myself as I am usually alone) I clearly heard a worker had unfortunately rang in sick that day but the members of staff all had their own opinions on the matter, the general theme appeared that they thought the staff member was faking his sickness. I saw one of the girls, from my observations the shift leader, disappear into the back of the store on several occasions, it turns out she was using her mobile phone to call the poor member of staff over and over again and get them to come into work. Now, being in the catering and hospitality sector myself for a number of years previous, if the member of staff was indeed sick it could have been a number of things. In this case I overheard it was diarrhoea and vomiting. I could not believe what I witnessed - a clear potential breach of food safety and personal hygiene! Can you even begin to imagine if that member of staff actually went in! Uncalled for and completely unprofessional, I had heard enough, finished my cup of coffee and walked out of the store. Where is the manager? The shop is ran by kids who clearly need revision on food hygiene and safety. Disgusting. I feel sorry for the member of staff who was being harassed, whether they were sick or not. These things have to be taken seriously.
Euro garages javelin Derby Road…
Euro garages javelin Derby Road Stretton de13 0df (Esso) advertise petrol at £1.899. However they charged me £2.039 yesterday. This is not the first time they charge more than they state on the sign outside the garage. They do not automatically give you a receipt, you have to request one, so unless you have a receipt you do not know they are charging more than they state. This is wrong because petrol is purchased because it is cheaper than somewhere else but at this Esso petrol station the cost is actually higher than its competitors. Is this legal?
Avoid EG sites, Expensive and poor staff attitudes
Used Euro Garages Blackburn for the first time in a long while, bad experiences previously along with high prices drove me away.
Today's visit was poor too, presented my Nectar card and was told it was too late, 'what you mean, too late' 'Ive already pressed the button' said the attendant, laughing?
wasn't impressed and won't be using EG sites again for a long time.

Aaron needs to sort his attitude out
Aaron needs to sort his attitude out. Can't stand smirky cocky kids. No maturity. I had to ask for my receipt 3 times. Also it looks like you have some sort of door completely shut policy which he relished shouting over the tanoy. The implication being I'm a criminal? Well Im fining you £14000 pounds in revenue for the insult and poor attitude of Aaron at Middlesbrough none of our cars will be frequenting the place, we'll get our premium else where.

Fourwentways services are not kept clean.
I visited Fourwentways services recently. There was a lot of rubbish in the car park. Inside the building, there was a lot of food detritus on the floor and tables. No member of staff took responsibility for cleaning up the mess. In fact, they chose not to look at it. Two of the four toilets were out of order. I went into one of the other toilet cubicles. There was no toilet paper in the dispenser; there was a roll of toilet paper on the shelf behind the toilet, but it was damp. Ugh! Looking at the previous reviews, the problem of cleanliness was reported at least 1 year ago yet still the same problem exists.

You have 24 hours to pay for fuel in…
You have 24 hours to pay for fuel in the event you can not pay on the day. If you don't pay, it goes to VARS and they add £30 on. Lady in shop spoke to me like crap, like I intentionally filled up without intending to pay. She told me if I don't pay in 24 hours it is going to court and will get a ccj. Scaremongering at its finest. Spoke to the area manager to question the 24 hour policy and he verified that it is the real policy, and I will be taken to court after around 9 months if I don't pay. Just seems very harsh.

Went to fill up my car the other day at the branch in Cheetham Hill Shirley service station, put about £15 and a bit in and decided to pay with cash. Had 30 quid on me so when I went to pay I took out all three 10 notes by accident. I noticed when I watched the cashier spread the cash in his hand to count it and he proceeded to put all £30 in the till. He then gave me about £4 change and then told me "I forgot how much you gave me" when the change should've been £14. We had a small back and forth then out came his partner who said we can't give you the £10 back so we have to check the cameras. Then after 15 minutes he came and said I saw you hold two notes and then told me get lost come back tomorrow and if the till shows £10 up we'll give it you back. Went back the next day and I was right the £10 they tried to rob me of was mine but my Mother was with me and she tried to talk to him only for him to tell her "shut up". As we drove from the station you could see him flick us goodbye through the window. What an experience, got my money back from those thieves though!
Disgusting behaviour of the women behind the counter
27.04.22 4pm I was visited the Cherwell valley esso garage (moto services) the worst experience ever !!! Staff was rude , without manners!!!! This disgusting people need to learn how to treat a customer!!!!
“all bikers are thieves”
Refuse to serve bikers because “all bikers are thieves” and “you need to turn your bikes around so we can see your reg”
Must pay for fuel first despite not knowing how much fuel I need.
Car drivers are allowed to fill then pay despite having the same opportunity to drive away without paying “because the reg plate can be seen” have you never heard of cloned plates ?
Bikes where dismounted and helmets removed before attempting to fill only to have some inaudible message barked at us over the tannoy system and be left trying to put fuel in the bikes not knowing if that was for us or not.
Discrimination at its finest.
Also refused to provide details of management for this store to raise a complaint.
Avoid and go to the shell station at Billinge.

Used the Esso App. Checked back and there is no record of the transaction. No idea what happened.
Has been my go-to garage for 10 years.
Esso Customer Service notified, await response. They said not to pay for the moment Have till Friday before ‘fine’ goes up a further £30. (Emailed VARS - they insist I do have to pay)
Unable to speak to Euro Garage, tried calling, who own the garage. Have emailed a director.
Very stressed and annoyed. Takes too long to resolve. Could just walk across the road and pay garage!
The Majority of Apple App Store recent reviews on the Esso App are appalling. Many about payment issues. Why isn’t it withdrawn! Why do Euro Garage offer it as a method of payment. Why isn’t there signage clearly showing if the fuel has been paid or not?
Today at Warrington Gemini Retail Park.

Petrol at £1.77 per litre and diesel at £1.98 per litre. Pure profiteering at its finest. Surely there can't be anywhere dearer in the UK. Euro Garages have always been dearer by a couple of pennies BUT THIS?

BUYER BEWARE
If I said am fuming that's an…
If I said am fuming that's an understatement!! Night one booked in to rivington Lodge on the 8th March till the 9th March 2022. I arrived received my key. When to my room chattered from working to see my bed made nicely but the covers and pillow was dirty 🙃 as I was tired I turned the heater on and just slept on top of the sheets. Woke up went to work. I then needed to book another night in the rivington Lodge so I booked it on line turned up went to the services to book in and get my key. This is now 9th till the 10th march 2022 I went to the desk there was a lovely aisan lady welcomed me, as she started booking me in I mentioned can I have a carpark facing room so I can see my van, she said of course my reply was thank you 😊 i nicely mentioned about the dirty sheets the night before in room 10 she was very apologetic and told me if that ever happends again please come and tell us .. i said i was tired not a massive deal but thank you ...every thing going great yeah ? Then she went to serve a customer for fuel left me with a Asian man !! She told him to give me room 10 again as it should be clean and it's just where my van is out side ,then she went serving a customer ,okay cool NO NOT COOL the guy had a massive bad attude from the start he then passed me a key number 17 I asked was this facing the parpark he said I don't know !!! I then asked could I have number 10 again he said no you said it was dirty with an attude and swaering, my reply was that was yesterday it should be clean now as its a day/night later. He said no room 17 is facing carpark ! So I game him benefit of the doubt and of I went , I got to room 17 it was at the other end of the block facing to petrol station so annoyed I went all the way back to the desk again and said you send me all that way telling me that's the carpark view and it's not please can I have room 10 like the lady said from the start he's now swearing and through the room 10 key on the counter at this point am fuming saying who are you taking to and looking at like that it was Disgusting to the point his colleague was telling him to stop ✋️ to be quite you can't take to customers like that . He (chucked room 10 key on the counter ) and said if its still dirty it's tuff and not changing your room.he fufure said if your not happy complain and that he dont give a poo ... So at that point I saw my bum and told him exactly what I thought of him and how I had been treated. I asked for the manager name and contact details. They would only give me the service station number and a name so that's not really helpful so I will and am going to complain and tell my story to the papers the Internet booking.com and the brothers CEO Mohsin Issa CBE Mohsin Issa
who own the rivington Lodge and eG euro garages empire. I will even send this through asda who the brothers also own. To get my story across that how fuming I am. At the very least I want the lad I dealt with to have a Disciplinary and to have the CCTV looked at by the owners CEO Mohsin Issa CBE Mohsin Issa Blackburn lads. I hope no one else as this issue with this company and I hope they treat this as professional as we hope they will.

Criminally filthy toilets.
Horrendous experience at every EG garage I’ve ever visited. I travel the country for the NHS taking patients to hospitals and the experience at their toilet facilities are nothing short of shocking. Floors covered in urine, broken toilet doors, leaking taps, rancid smells, toilet paper trod into soaking wet floors. All this within a few feet of food outlets Greggs and Subway. Worst one encountered this week is on the Shrewsbury bypass. The smell in the toilets there is so bad, you can almost taste it. Dirty filthy uncaring trash company only interested in profit. To hell with the customers. Don’t bother ever complains to EG, they don’t do anything. Contact health and safety relevant to the garage in your vicinity.
They are greedy thieves
They are greedy thieves, they own all 3 garages on Formby Bypass and between Crosby and Southport Merseyside with no where else to fill up. Besides hiking the price of the Greggs food they sell there
(£1.20 for a damn sausage roll) today their prices jumped 20P PER LITRE to £1.69 for diesel whilst Tesco and BP are £1.49
I would rather push my car than give these greedy $$$****$$$ my business. We should blockade the price gougers. Now they swallowing up Asda so much for reasonable fuel prices.
Do not give a job up to go here
Do not go with this company my daughter got a job with them they told her to go and give her notice in to home bargain were she had worked for 2and a half years then when it was time to start they just said sorry head office won't let me take anymore on so left her unemployed after 2 years
Don't use the toilets in their sites…
Don't use the toilets in their sites along the A14 in Northants. They are filthy! Broken hand driers, leaking urinals and toilet paper left on the floor. Disgraceful! All this on the same premises that serve food.

Smirking manager and rancid milkshakes
I came into the petrol station in Bolton where I put in £120 diesel I spent in Cinnabon and I also purchased some goods from the grocery section of the petrol station. My daughter purchased a milkshake which when she got in the car she told me it tasted funny. I tasted the milkshake and it certainly tasted sour. I went back in to tell the cashier that I did not think the milkshakes were right not only just myself but for any future customers as well. The cashier then called the manager out who did not realise I was stood down. He smirked and then when he saw me he asked me what could you do for me when I acknowledge that I saw him smirking at me I told him that the milkshake was sour and he told me that there was nothing wrong with it I will be it he did not taste it himself.
He told me that all of his goods were fresh and looked at me like I was stupid. I am in hospitality myself and have a restaurant and I’m well aware that when the customer told you that something doesn’t taste right you cannot challenge them on it he was aggressive with me and at first was not happy to give me my money back.
It was a cashier that went above and beyond his role and gave me my money back and told me to help myself to another drink my daughter was not too keen on getting another Milkshake however she tried a chocolate milkshake when she open the milkshake this is what we found.
From my experience in hospitality and my level three a food hygiene it looks like the milkshakes have defrosted and re-frozen with a dairy product this is extremely dangerous. Not only am I upset with the way that I was treated in your petrol station I am disgusted with what we found.
