Dropped van off for service and minor at 08.30
Called at 13.30 for update and was told service were on lunch, they will call back at 14.00
No phone call came so called back at 15.45 to find my van was just going into workshop as they had been waiting on authorisation to carry out work. The booking was made through leading company so service automatically authorised at this point. Explained the repair could wait as it was vital I had my van back today, still no communication and not answering calls. Extra day van hire now required and a very important job now delayed as I need tools and equipment from my van which may result in the loss of large sale. Zero customer service

I travelled to pick a car up from Evans Halshaw. On completing all paperwork and driving away, I had a warning come up on the dashboard saying emergency gearbox error. The car then went into limp mode. I managed to get back to the garage and they gave me a courtesy car to get home in. I know these things happen and was glad of the courtesy car I was given. I decided to reject the car i bought and get a refund. They came and collected the courtesy car, However, nearly three weeks later I was still for a refund, I have finally got this, but I am still waiting for the finance company to be paid back, so I am.currently paying for installments for a car i don't have! I give this review a two star solely on the customer service of the manager giving me a courtesy car to get home.

Callum and Michael were very helpful and pleasant, nice and relaxing environment not pressured to much like most car company’s. Very happy with service 😊

evans halshaw in coatbridge sold us a stolen car. we were left with no car for weeks while my son who receives cancer treatment needed transport in and out of hospital they couldn't have cared less no apology or help to get another car. worst customer service I have ever experienced

I bought a car from you 15 days later the car developed a coolant leak it already had a fault with the passenger door lock the rac brought the car back to you the next day the car then sat for 9 days before anyone looked at it just to determine that it needed parts on the day it was supposed to be fixed i had no calls or emails to let me know what was going on so I called the garage to find out what was going on and someone phoned me back to tell me the parts would be in on Monday ( this was Friday) when Monday came there was no calls from you i eventually phoned back to be told they were still working on it by the Tuesday I called again to be told someone would phone me back no one did I phoned again on the Wednesday to be told the part they needed was on back order and it would take 8 weeks for the part to come i was not happy as all that was said is there is nothing else we can do .
I contacted my finance company to see if they could help me but when they called you're garage they were met with the same response there is nothing evans halshaw was willing to do the kept phoning you periodically to no avail i had no more communication for you so all I could do was wait after the 8 weeks was up i phoned and was told the part haven't arrived and that was that by the time the part came in you had had the car for 3 months eventually after a few more calls from me I got david who actually returned my calls .
The part came in on the Thursday and I got the car back on the following Tuesday.
To leave someone that long without a car was shocking .
3 months mot lost
3 months insurance lost
I had also had taken out evans halshaw 24 months cover of which I lost 3 months of that too .
And all I could do was keep paying my finance for a car I didn't have .
Not to mention the trouble I had getting to work at 3:30 in the morning .
So as you can imagine I'm not the happiest person with evans halshaw.
I made a complaint to evans halshaw Coatbridge never got a reply.
I made a complaint with evans halshaw head office i got the auto reply email saying they had got my email they would be in touch I've still had no reply and that was over a month ago

Worst experience ever in a car showroom in my 59yrs of living on this earth.
Before entering showroom one of the salesmen asked us if paying by cash or finance. As soon as we said cash we were left to carry on ourselves.
We found a car we liked and were told our car too old for part exchange and would only be offered auction value which was a complete insult.
We declined their ridiculous offer and decided to sell our car ourselves which we did for 4 times their offer.
We then reserved car for an 11am app next day.
Arrived for app to be met with several blank expressions. No idea we had reserved car. After bout 20mins they agreed we had reserved car. Were told it needed a valeting and would take approximately 30 mins. We Said we would go for a coffee and return.
On return we were met by a salesman eating a packet of biscuits and another salesman with his feet on the desk and 2 other salesmen as well as a female all having a tea party at the desk behind us.
In total we waited 3 1/2 hours 4 our 30 min valet only to find previous owners I'd card in glove compartment and several asda bags in the boot. So no valeting was done on car but we were made to wait 3 1/2 hrs for it.
My husband put review on their own website that has never been published. I'm sure that speaks volumes.
If you want to buy a used car and don't care if ur treated like a nothing then this is the place for you. But if you feel u should be valued when your spending your hard earned cash then avoid this place like the plague.
Also there is a £99 OPTIONAL service offered on cars before you buy. But when it comes to buying your car that OPTIONAL price becomes a COMPULSORY ADMIN fee. I am looking into this as it's false advertising. We queried it and salesman said had to he paid before we could get car. Can't ever remember spending Just under £14,000 and being treated like I was an inconvenience.
