We had a lovely experience at Evans halshaw. This was our first time buying from a Vauxhall garage and we had a great experience with George. Customer service was amazing and would definitely look at coming back to the garage to buy a car in the future.

Absolutely appalling experience with this dealership.

Halshaw misled and mis-sold us a warranty; verbally and physically in writing the EHG guarantee confirms the vehicle can be taken to any Halshaw or Stratstone dealer with the extended warranty.
Local Stratstone dealerships not equipped for diagnostics of vehicle and unable to book car in.
Failure to return emails and return or answer calls from anybody in Management. Have contacted Lithia and Pendragon to no avail.

Salesman, confirmed mis-sale of warranty as it was his understanding we would be able to have the car looked at by any Stratstone. Yet still no resolution.

Engine management light so far seen by a local mechanic (at our expense) to read extensive fault codes. Under Halshaw Guarantee an alternative solution is to take your vehicle to any vat registered garage using the one link platform whereby they can authorise warranty covered work.

At this point we were advised by our local mechanic to contact a Mazda main dealership for diagnostics. Halshaw have refused to pay for the diagnostics when applied for by a main dealership (as fault codes extensive) using one link as per the warranty agreement. The diagnostics of a car they sold us with a misleading warranty in only May of this year. Last phone conversation was assured “you will not have to pay for any of this” to subsequently be ignored by sales team, management and complaints department.

AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS.
Trading standards are pursuing the issue.

Been to this branch many times as brought my car from them. Service booked in at a time convenient. I remained on site. Left my service booked and locking wheel nuts on my front passenger seat. Took a while to get my car back,
Car back driving home realised I didn’t receive my service book nor was it in my car, could not use my phone as somehow it wasn’t connected. Called as soon as I got home about 15 mins later. Told to call Monday
Sent an email explaining the problem, also car was only half cleaned.
Fast forward they cannot find my service booked nor, so offered to supply me with a new one, but can only stamp for the service they carried out!!! No good to me as my car has a full service history, so without my book and proof the value would be decreased. I was called today they asked I take my car back so they could check my book wasn’t in the car!!! Really do they think I’m blind, both my self and husband checked the car. I will not let this go, I have asked via the phone and 2 email to have a manager contact me, so they can explain how my service book is still missing! The mechanic who carried out my service must of stamped the book, if it wasn’t why wasn’t it? I pay monthly for a service plan.
I’m still waiting, still they cannot locate my book, poor service, foul mouthed staff chatting in the area where cars are on sale, poor valet and lost service book!!!!
Not impressed and I want my book found!!!

Very poor response time, no one returns your call, I was sold a car that does not need my basic needs and is overly complex with a DFP/Adblue system, and is for ever showing faults with the DFP filter, I have asked on two occasions to escalate the issue to management just so
I can have a conversation regarding a
possible rejection of the car/deal and look at my possibilities about a new deal,
I was told not enough was wrong with the car and I then looked at replacing it I
was told I couldn't as I had not owned
the car long enough and the value was
too low that I was signed into finance! I have only owned the vehicle for Just six months and it's been in 6 times! with two combined bills costing me 700 pounds. Disappointing experience, but you learn from these times I won't be purchasing again from Vauxhall Bedford in the future and my advice would be to anyone else look elsewhere.

Excellent service from Gregg. Very patient with us and explained everything so that we understood everything that was being charged and what should happen if anything go wrong.

Aftercare/Service team is brilliant. Very helpful and kept me informed of where things were.

I had a specific need to find a car my elderly, disabled mum could get in and out of with as little stress as possible. Mourad showed such compassion and kindness as we walked the showroom and outside trying and dismissing a number of models.
Eventually we found a new Astra that was was fit for purpose and comfortable for us.
The purchase process was stress free and I look forward to picking up my new car in a couple of weeks.
