Your go to for US expat tax services

I have used Everfair Taxes for several year and they have filed my self assessment in a timely manner. As a US expat they are mostly responsive and provide professional services. I look forward to doing business with them in the future.

Poor communication and questionable practices

As an American working in the UK, I contracted Everfair for preparing my US and UK tax returns. The fee for both returns was £2400. It was good that they did eventually get both tax returns completed. But communication was very poor. It took months to get the returns done. They ignored emails completely, or sometimes responded very slowly. It was difficult to verify if the returns were done correctly. It was also concerning that they started asking for more money, above the agreed-on fee, several months into the process.

We aim to be transparent about the costs involved, and the scope of work included. As you're aware, due to your specific circumstances, we discovered something that required unaccounted for work, and for you to share additional information with us. Diligently, we provided you with an additional quote which you chose not to accept. Our file suggests that the returns were sent to you within a few weeks of us receiving your final pieces of required information / instructions. We're committed to communicating well and listening to client feedback, and this is part of that process. We would be happy to reach out to you and discuss in more detail.
