Fully accredited & the best online high school ever.
I honestly feel so grateful to have been able to study at Excel. I am a 2021 graduate and started university (RIT) the same year, my enrollment process at my uni was seamless all BECAUSE excel is fully accredited in the US.
The staff is amazing at Excel, the course structure, the flexibility, the pricing… you name it, you’ve got it all.
Attending Excel also allowed me to travel around the world :-)) I was traveling in Eastern Europe while studying for exams.
I recommend everyone go with Excel, it’s got the same accreditation, more flexibility in pricing plans, and simply a way better alternative to a boring traditional brick n mortar high school !!! Not to mention the amount of bullying that happens at high schools… I’m so glad I was saved from that.

Awful Communication
(Before I get a response saying I never studied here, I'm using a nickname.)
The Adult High School Program is legit and accredited, but the staff genuinely does not care about your issues. Helpdesk takes weeks to respond and sometimes ghosts you. Prior to enrollment, communication was swift and I was assured of Helpdesk's reliability, but everything changed afterwards. Most of the staff was rude with the exception of one very kind lady (named Shoko Kalista, I believe).
Course content is decent although not the most rigorous. There are mistakes here and there in the practice/self-test activities that I had to report. The quizzes are structured fairly, and the online platform is user-friendly and easy to navigate. The school does a good job at ensuring mastery of concepts before progressing to the next lesson.
Overall, if you are signing up for the Adult High School program, be prepared to be entirely on your own because while the school says you will not have any teachers or academic advisors before enrollment, they neglect to mention that other staff will not assist you either for the most part.

Excel High School will keep your money…
Excel High School will keep your money and find a way to justify a number of surcharges if/when you decide to drop out of their platform. There are also hidden charges and their language regarding refunds if obscure on purpose.

Excel High School is a great option if…
Excel High School is a great option if you need flexibility. The self-paced format made it easy to work on my own schedule, and it’s accredited through Cognia, so the diploma is legitimate.
The courses are easy to follow, but you do need to stay motivated since it’s mostly independent learning.

The school has been so accommodating…
The school has been so accommodating for my stepdaughter who has a chronic illness. Other programs were not supportive so this set up was amazing. The content and all the help received went above and beyond!
