I have been waiting for over a month…

I have been waiting for over a month since placing my order. Much longer than anticipated or should be taking. Customer service is very unresponsive. I have ask to cancel or for my money back but they refuse saying glasses are in production.
Do not trust this company!

I’ve had the worst shopping experience I’ve probably ever had with an online retailer. It’s been a mess from the various start. I ordered these contacts back in January even paid for express shipping just for them to tell me that they were out of stock, took super super long to send them out just for them to be the wrong contacts and so I try making a return and instead of it being an easy and smooth process, they make you feel like a damn fool and make you chase them around just to get any answer and now with it being almost April I still have not received a return nor will I receive my full return truly the worst shopping experience I’ve ever had. Hopefully this review helps someone else don’t be persuaded by their cheap prices. It feels like I’ve truly been scammed out of so much money.

I ordered 2 pairs of glasses from this…

I ordered 2 pairs of glasses from this company. One pair was just a standard pair of prescription glasses and the other was progressive. The progressives came first because the other frames were suddenly "out of stock". The progressives were totally wrong in one lens and I had to send them back. I finally got the standard pair. They have now had the progressives for over a month and I cannot get a straight answer as to when or IF I will ever actually receive them. Their customer service is absolutely atrocious. I will NEVER do business with this company again and I have absolutely no hope I will actually ever see my progressives glasses. This company is pretty crappy overall but their customer service is deplorable. I doubt I will ever see the glasses or the money and I will have to file a fraud claim with my credit card.

Defective Lense

I got prescription frames from them and they were fine for 9 months, but then the left lens started falling out. I took it to a local optical shop and they said the lens was too small and needed to be remade. I called EZ Contacts and they wouldn't do anything for me because it was beyond the return period. Will never order prescription lenses on line again, especially from EZ Contacts

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I ordered glasses three weeks ago and still haven’t received the glasses, although I’ve already been charged for the glasses. If you call their customer service number you can’t get through to anyone. I’ve emailed numerous times only to be told they will be shipped tomorrow. Do not buy glasses from this company!!!!

Be careful....ezcontacts.com is not the…

Be careful....ezcontacts.com is not the same as ezcontactsusa.com. I almost order 2 pairs of sunglasses and decided to check the web address and when comparing I have found out ...ezcontacts.com is the legitimate site I have searched both pairs and they are not even showing up...do research before ordering from any site.

Timing was unacceptable

I waited almost 3 weeks before calling to find out what the delay was on shipping only to be told they were out of stock. I request a different pair waited another week without notification, and was told My glasses were discontinued. Really wanted a pair of glasses and knew it would be a hassel trying to get my money back, while i was looking for a third pair I received an email that said my glasses were shipped. I received them a month after initial contact with this company.

Avoid EZCONTACTS, keep shopping ...

I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered glasses from this company. Here are the details:

Jan. 25, 2022 - Ordered frames with prescription lenses

Feb. 15, 2022 - Finally received glasses only after I notified the company via chat that I hadn't received them. Glasses arrived with no prescription on the lenses even though I entered the prescription info when I ordered them. Again via chat, I notified them of the prescription issue. I was advised to return the glasses (no return label was provided).

Feb. 17, 2022 - Shipped glasses back to them via USPS. Mailing cost was $10.15.

Feb. 22, 2022 - They received the returned glasses.

Mar. 2, 2022 - After hearing nothing and not receiving any kind of confirmation that they received the returned glasses, I again contact them via chat. I was told by Cynthia that my return hadn't been processed yet and to give it a few more days. I told her no because I had waited long enough already, and if I didn't hear something by end of day I would cancel the order the next day. She assured me that I would hear something from them. Of course I didn't hear anything.

Mar. 3, 2022 - Once again, I contacted them via chat because when I called I was put on hold and no one picked up. I told Cynthia via chat to cancel the order and issue an immediate refund. I also asked for a reimbursement of my shipping cost ($10.15). She said they would not do that and offered a $5 store credit which I declined as I have no intention of doing business with EZCONTACTS ever again.

So there you have it. This whole ordeal was a complete joke and I will never refer anyone to this business.

Edit, March 19, 2022: I was later contacted by this company via email. They agreed to refund the $10.15 I spend on shipping after all.

They don't make glasses in the time promised.

Awful! But they also have a fraudulent review process through reviews.io. (explained at end) I buy a lot of stuff online, and I have purchased glasses from other companies. I have a frame of reference for how good a company can be. EZContacts is horrible. I ordered glasses on September 14, 2021. It said it would take 2-3 to to complete the order, and I paid for quicker shipping. On September 24, I went online to find out if they had been shipped and they had not. According to the site, they had not even been started. At that time, I saw a notice that said they closed for the Jewish holiday, and would be out of the office until September 29. I tried to call customer service, thinking a large company would have someone to answer during such an extended absence. They did not. I used the contact form to cancel. I didn't get a word back. I then sent an email stating I wanted to cancel my order. Joel responded and just said, call back on September 30. I sent another contact form message to cancel asap. On October 5, having not heard back from them, I did an online chat. I told her I had cancelled and not received an acknowledgement. She then said they just finished making the glasses. I told her the dates I cancelled and don't know why they would make them, and I said I just wanted my money back. She said that she would issue a refund. A couple of days later, I checked my account to see if my funds had been returned. Instead I say that on October 5, when I did the chat, that was the day, they first took the money. More than a week after I asked to cancel. It is now October 25, and I still do not have my refund. I did another chat and she said there was a delay in processing my refund, and I would get it within 3-5 days. It has been five days, and still no money. I will now have to waste more time with them. She tried to tell me that holiday was online. It might have been, but not in a visible way that I would have seen it when i ordered or paid. More importantly, the stated processing time meant that they should have been ready to ship before their vacation began. And WHO closes for more than 10 days in 2021? When someone needs glasses, they may not have more than a month to wait for a new pair. Initially, I ordered from them because I had gotten a new pair from glassesusa. They were too big, and didn't have a smaller frame. Ezcontact did. I thought they would fulfill the order as stated. Instead, during that time, that I was able to get another pair from glassesusa made, sent and received before even getting my refund from ezcontacts. Wish I had never wasted my time with them!

* Regarding their reviews. On an email from Joel at Ezcontacts, he had an image showing their 4.5 starts at reviews.io. I went to post a review and noticed that when you search for ezcontacts, reviews.io has two companies. So, i went back and looked at Joel's email. It had the name ezcontactsusa under his name. I hit that and entered a review. I noticed that ezcontactsusa didn't have a 4.5 rating as pictured, but instead a 2.9. Once completed, it took me to another screen. It said to verify my review, I needed to do so through Facebook messenger or by email. I did get an email asking me to confirm my order number, which I did, and once I hit submit, it wouldn't allow my negative review. I then went and looked at ezcontact. They had the 4.9 rating Joel reference. I then checked to see if ezcontact and ezcontactsusa were they same company. They are. I tried to leave my negative review there, but when I tried it said you can only leave a review if you were invited. Apparently, if you complain, they tell you they are ezcontactsusa. If you have a good experience they invite you to review them under ezcontacts. what a fraud!

Do not trust shipping times displayed

Do not go by what their site shows in terms of availability.. they will say it will ship in 4-5 business days but my order did not ship for over 3 weeks and after multiple follow ups, their Customer Support sent an email saying the frame is in backorder and it will take another 2-3 weeks for the frames to arrive at their warehouse. I verified their site again and saw that they still have the frame listed as available in 4-5 business days.

This has been the worst experience…

This has been the worst experience ever. I ordered a pair of sunglasses on July 5th. To date I have not received anything. I have called weekly and keep getting the run around.

I am beyond pissed and upset. I thought this was a good company to order from but I was wrong!

They told my my order failed the…

They told my my order failed the quality inspection, and waited for my order More than a month ... finally when they overnight the order agent almost 2 months, FedEx sent me an update that my order had arrived, but nothing I didn’t received the order looks like it was driver to a warehouse because the message said ... that it was deliver at the shipping and reviving office ... really? Then I called both FedEx and EZ Contacts and they open a case but never returned my call. I paid around 400 dollars for my glasses.
Call EzConracts multiple times asking for a manager and they never returned my calls.
