I got booked in for a brakes job and when I turned up for the appointment a different guy told me they couldn’t do my job because they ddnt have staff. I volunteered I had been booked ( he hadnt asked) and he told me the guy that had booked me in the other day was on his off day and ddnt know staffing levels for the day he had booked. No apology. Very quick to say, “ If you don’t like it, go elsewhere.” I tried to engage with him and say my concern that I had made plans around this appointment and could he at least book me another day and try not sound like it was my fault. A guy came in, declared he was in charge, and declared the conversation over and that If I ddnt like how they do things I should just leave.

Very disappointed with the service on my dad’s car he is 80 and does not need these extra costs and hassle. ( WEB50647305 reg: KT18GVA) pay cheap pay twice is the saying isn’t it! Well certainly paid twice!!! They went ahead with work that was not approved but more importantly there is rattle underneath the car under braking that has not been resolved. Not happy at all that what ever they have done has caused this noise which is a safety worry. My dad has Taken it back once already not resolved…he will have to take back again when he can find the time. What are going to do to resolve this Formula One Autocentres!???? Shameful service. OH plus they have NOT stamped the service book!!!

Came to drop off my car for MOT, but after waiting for good 15 minutes for someone to come and grab my car's keys, I was told that they don't have time to do it today, despite having a booking. Was rebooked for next week, since I've already paid for the service. It took bloody 2 hours to get my car with no issues to be checked. On the other hand, probably won't find cheaper MOT, but I think, I'd rather pay more than having to go through this hassle.

Just had my wheel alignment done on my bmw and great service as always! Highly recommended!!

As usual amazing customer service! Called in on the off chance of getting my tyre pressure checked before a long journey. In and out in 5 minutes. Always so helpful. Will continue to be my go to for all things tyres 😁

Excellent service provided today. Took my van in to check a tyre that had recently lost pressure. Was attended to straight away. Nail found in the tyre and repaired on the spot. Back on the road and happy days.

My car failed the MOT, that was not the problem. The quote to correct the faults was over £1200 , i did some searching and found an excellent mechanic who not only did all the work but i added more, his price was was just over £400. The car drives like a new car.
Be careful and do your research, i was nearly mugged. I am not submitting my personnel details.

Excellent, swift and very friendly service! We came to Formula One, Barnwell Rd, Cambridge after a sudden loss of pressure in one tyre. They confirmed there was a puncture, repaired the tyre and we were back on the road in 20 minutes.

After being turned away by 4 other garages due to a tricky slipping wheel nut nobody wanted to work on, Richard said he and his team could take a look at least, if I dropped by. So I did, and they did more than look - a mallet, a crowbar and proper muscle and they got it out. Huge thanks to the three of them for getting us out of a bind, and their kind gesture at the end of their work.

Took my car for MOT, and the service I received from Sean and Simon the MOT tester was excellent.

I went in with desperation to have my tyre fixed the day without appointment and the tyre I needed was also a hard one to find. I also needed an MOT the same day urgently. Scott is the one helped me and went on to order my tyre in which arrived in a few hours (2-3). Immediately fixed it on and he did the MOT too meanwhile. It’s not 5 star what SCOTT did but rather 100 star. In desperation without an appointment professionally and very fast he did everything. Unbelievable! Blown away! Scott you are the best!

I wouldn’t go anywhere else

I was quoted £37 on the phone when I booked the mot and when I got there I was charged £42.50 and it failed due to the fact that the trim on the wheel arch was missing 3 clips and was still attached securely except the end. I was told the trim must be replaced, ordered the part at the cost of £77.78 and I actually only need 3 clips. I was then charged another £14.75 for them to see that it was secured. In November I took my car in as it was make a scrapping noise on the wheel, they said I had gone over a pothole and nothing to be concerned with. The noise continued and it turned out that I needed brakes pads and discs, £328.68. I have used formula one for many years for tyres and mot’s but due to the disappointing service I have received I will be taking my business elsewhere. I thought they were offering a good service but on my last few visits I have been deeply disappointed.

I went to get four new tyres put on and they put the back tyres on the wrong way round. It was only through an MOT at another garage that I found this out. I had to pay another garage to get this fixed and so this mistake cost me time and money. Formula One Autocentres would not agree to give me any compensation for this. I would not recommend or trust this garage again.

Brilliant service as always. Looked after my car and got me back on the road nice and fast.
