Shocking service they have broken my car and left it in a worse state then when I took it in. Had my car serviced and MOT they had to keep it to do some work upon collecting it today Monday 15th July I suddenly had engine faults I never had before they never even looked under the bonnet did a quick scan on the machine told me it wasn’t there fault and booked me in for Friday to look into it further. When I got home I looked under the bonnet to find things not connected and other bit broken I have taken a photo and complain to customer care.

Just a quick update I took the car today 19th July they were extremely apologetic for the issue they repaired the issue quickly unfortunately the broken item is 6-8 weeks order so they plastic welded it and have made a note that if it breaks again they will order a new part for me. They also offered to take a look at it again before I go away. I can not fault the customer service and the men in the garage for doing there best to resolve my issue.

Excellent experience that is probably why I keep going back to Doncaster F1.

Easy booking, easy transition from mot to finish.

The staff were very professional and did their job very well. The Tyres were a very good price too. Had a tracking check done and was a little out at the back, I told the staff member that I was having work done at the back of the car and I was told to bring the car back afterwards and they would reset the tracking if needed. All in all great service and will definitely use F1 for tyres and anything else I need.

Absolute shocking customer service. Firstly they said it would be 2 hours too change four tyres then call saying there mechanics couldn’t get wheel nuts off every wheel and too take away and come back when loosend.
Took vehicle home and one wheel but a bit tight but not hard too loosen. Took back and changed the tyres but said they couldn’t do wheel alignment as there machine broken. Never wanted too do the job in first place and worker saying I was late dropping van in when I was actually 10 mins early but he got the times wrong. Would never go here again and wouldn’t recommend any too do so. Doncaster

My car failed its MOT on brake pads. I was offered a reasonable price to fix the same day which was completed, resulting in a pass. Thank you.

Very good service also staff very friendly and polite. Bought 2 new tyres online found cheapest at Formula one with fitting and air con clean. All booked online. All on time. Will be back again definitely!

My daughters car booked in for service at the Doncaster branch 09/09/23. The service centre called her during the appointment saying she needed new disks, pads, wheel alignment, etc.... Luckily My daughter was with me and passed me the phone and I kindly declined the extras saying I would sort separately. (The service centre were not aware that I am an engineer and our son a technician at a motor main dealer). The next day we found time to check the tyres and brakes ourselves.
Disks checked. No lipping, no scoring, No wear.
Pads. 90% of new size. (we also have the invoice as they were only replaced last year which made us suspicious of the report from the service centre!!!!)
Tyres checked, even wear across the tyre.
Surprise Surprise! This is becoming a common issue with service centres. 80-90% of services undertaken, (and not limited to Formula one), you will be told you need new disks and pads. What happened to honest car service centres??? Wont be returning and will ward off anyone who asks for advice.

My car went in for an Mot and service costing £169 at Doncaster Wheatley Hall Road F1. I was told my car had failed it's Mot due to full front end suspension has broken and my exhaust was hanging off.... Which is strange as I'd had no knocking or banging whilst driving. I was quoted £1200. When reviewing the invoice I noticed £400+ of extra charges I did not need to pass it's Mot including re-gassing of aircon, new tyres, disposal of old tyres and pollen filters ect.
I decided not to get the work done elsewhere. Initially they would not release my car even though it had 2 weeks left on its mot. But after getting a male friend to speak to them as they weren't listing to the silly woman who was disbelieving them they released my car. On collecting my car there was damage to the drivers side trim and my tracking was dangerously veering to the left. They refused doing the damage and refused to correct it's tracking even though they stated it could have been due to them checking the suspension, which was fine before sending the car in. On getting the car investigated elsewhere my full suspension was fine, they'd missed the CDboot which was unconnected and an instant fail plus my exhausted should have been an advisory as 2 clips were broken so did not need a full exhaust. Full mot work, damage fixed in labour cost £420 elswhere

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS

They damaged a tyre pressure sensor , replaced it without telling us then damaged another and refused to sort it out whilst replacing all 4 tyres and left us with a slowly deflating tyre at the doncaster branch Wheatley Hall Road wanted tho charge us 70 quid for a replacement sensor ...

The customer service is brilliant Shannon was absolutely lovely and let us know when there was a cancellation and had the tyres done the same day amazing service from all staff

First time user,always used main dealer facility but will now consider using formula 1 for consumables perhaps not the first class service you would expect but still excellent value for money

Had taken my 2014 Golf for a service today in the Doncaster store which I had booked online. On collection I was handed my service book and a piece of paper alongside my key. I mistakenly believed that they would have stamped and completed the service book due to them having this with them on my return, however when I got home and checked this, there was no new completed service stamp and the paper she handed me had no indication of whether the checks had been completed or not and no signature or name of technician on the piece of paper. I could have completed this myself and printed which could raise a query of whether this is valid on selling my car. It is not even on letter headed paper.

Would not use this company again, feel like I have wasted £148.
