I saw online tyres for a good price but as i wanted the payment assist had to call and order them. I wanted 2 tyres and the man said i can have the finance and would be £107 deposit for the tyres. I arrived and was told 4 were reserved for me but if i wanted finance the £107 quoted was not valid and had to pay shop price which made the bill £80 odd more. I was told 45 mins to a hour and came back just over a hour to see one wheel was just being done. I sat in the waiting room and saw the car be left and the man went off and did work on another car. After he had done that came back to mine. The job took over 2 and half hours. Also they clearly did not care to put my car into jacking mode as the air suspension fault light was on the car was up in the sky. I had to reset it back to driving height. I complained and was fobbed off and then told that the job was done in just over an hour. Clearly these people failed maths at school as 915 to 1130 is not 1 hour. If i was told they would start the work and then leave it half done for a hour then i would have not had to waste my time sitting around. I also find blasting out uncensored rap music with all Fs and The N word in the next to the public waiting room really unprofessional.

Bought 4 new tyres online at a competitive price, then had them fitted on a date and time to my choosing. All completed in less than an hour.

First and last time use them. Had 3 tyres changed which was fine. They didn’t. Inflate the tyres correctly. Basics!…Secondly only having tyres changed does not mean that you need to change all air con settings nor does it mean you need to change my headlight setting either

I took my car here for an MOT. It is an old car that I have been renovating myself because I can't afford to pay for a Garage to do it. Unfortunately, my car failed the test, but only on one thing, which was better than expected.
Afterwards, I was enquiring about how I could fix the problem, and two mechanics suggested that the ignition coils might need replacing. Then, if that wasn't helpful enough, during their own break-time, they came and looked at my car for me and tested it to see if the coils were the issue or not. Sure enough, two coils weren't working, meaning the engine was firing on two instead of four cylinders.
Now if that isn't classed as 'above and beyond' I don't know what is. Unfortunately, I did not get their names - but to the chap at Reception, and the two chap Mechanics who helped me out - thank you so much, you were brilliant!!

Had done the MOT, very disappointing, they failed it without an existing problem, when I took the car to a diferent garage they told me the car can't even have that type of problem due to a diferent model and it being so low mileage, will definitely not be going back they are taking advantage of people, not at all helpful.

Appalling- total lack of regard for customers and a disingenuous manager too. Will never bring our vehicles here again.

Booked my car in for MOT and Service. Car was serviced and they even managed to call me to discuss work that needed to be done (miraculously the same work that my wife’s car needed previously. You know the thing, wheel alignment, tyres with about 3000 miles left in them needing replacing and air filters!). Mid afternoon received a call expecting to be told that I could collect car to actually be told that they were unable to do my MOT. Apparently the diesel emissions machine which had been broken before was still broken. Utterly useless customer service by the assistant manager who was to explaining things and being helpful what Donald Trump is to good looks and tact.

Upshot - they couldn’t get me booked in again before my MOT was due several days later in any F1.

Yes - they’d managed to do the service and recommend work that wasn’t needed (this explanation will come soon) but not the actual thing I needed. Even when they knew when I took my car in.

Managed to find a local garage who went out their way to help. In fact rather embarrassed I had to admit to booking in with this shower of uselessness.

MOT’d car. Told me that F1 could have MOT’d the vehicle without the machine, and what they’d told me was incorrect. Even showed me guidance from the government. Informed me that the work suggested was not necessary but “they are well known for recommending work people don’t need” and took time to show me on my vehicle why they were wrong. It was compelling.

Because I’d paid for a service and MOT combined when F1 refunded me they only sent back a proportional amount which did not cover the actual MOT charge I ended up paying. Only £30 out but their incompetence and perceived dishonesty have cost me.

They knew the machine was broken but chose to inconvenience me and use me as a cash cow.

Have emailed the divisional manager and been ignored so will be issuing a small claim out of principle.

I’ll be supporting local garage from now on and avoiding these clowns.

For the avoidance of doubt, I’m not interested in contacting your Customer Care Team by using a generic link. If you want more details proactively contact me. You couldn’t be bothered three times before so why put myself through that again, unless your replies are of course automated and non personalised. A bit like your service.

Shocking rudeness and attitude from mechanic and totally ignored by the manager. Will never, ever use this company again. Customers are clearly a nuisance.

Wish I could give minus stars. Just dealt with possibly the rudest man I've ever come across on the other end of the phone. Had booked an Aircon re-gas on the companies website and he was basically calling me a liar even though I had prepaid for it and money has gone out of my account. Steer clear. Utterly shambolic service.

Excellent service yet again from from F1 Car in for mot today and failed on a binding rear brake, asked them to look at it for me, they stripped down cleaned and reassembled the hub reporting that everything was ok, re tested and passed mot. Charged me only for the test and nothing for the brake strip down. I’ve used them for several years and always been satisfied, if something doesn’t need doing they say so.

Friendly helpful staff. Fast service. Would recommend if you are in Northampton.
