Rang fromula one in Telford for a quote to have gearbox oil change put in and was quoted 60.00
Took my car and had to wait over an hour, then the guy tells me he had to use two liters of oil and it would be 88.00
When I got to desk and total came to 111.00.
I called other garages in the area who only charge 60,00 with Vat.
I have been ripped off..
I do not reccommend this service.

I went in because I had a nail/puncture in my tire. John spoke to me over the phone and managed to sort it out the same day. His service was very quick and he saved me having to buy a new tire. Really appreciated!!

John & colleague were 1st class. I had a problem with a tyre sensor & they were able to fit me in straight away. They were friendly, professional & explained everything to me & were able to fix the problem 100%. I can definitely recommend this company & will be using them again in the future. Had a puncture repair done a couple of weeks ago really quick service, tyre light came on again to same wheel within a couple of weeks. Called by today late afternoon and asked if they could have a look for me just in case of fault on valve or something else, found out I had picked up another nail, another quick repair done. Really good service from the guys there today 👍

I can't thank the staff enough for there help sorting my tyres. After a bit of c☆☆k up over the size (my fault). The staff were professional, polite and extremely helpful sorting the issue out. I'll definitely be back and can't recommend the lads at the Telford branch highly enough.

My car battery was playing up. John and team did a battery test and replaced my battery. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. I have used F1 for many years and wouldn't take my car anywhere else. John is always helpful and polite. Thank you again!

Absolute gems - my tyre valve had blown, I had called round a few places (on a Sunday) and F1 managed to fit me in quickly and sorted the issue. Very kind chaps and great service. Thank you.

I purchased some new alloys for my BMW & needed to get my wheels and existing tyres swapped over. I’m fairly new to the area so I called lots of garages but had no joy! Nobody really wanted to know?!
But when I called John at Formula one Telford he said it wouldn’t be a problem! So today I popped down and got them swapped over by a really friendly guy called Chris! I waited in their waiting room and felt at ease being a woman on my own and before I knew it, it was done,

My van picked up a puncture on the motorway just a few minutes from the centre in Telford, I called around at 9am, had it fixed for a reasonable price and was back on the road in no time. Highly recommended.

You are the 4th emergency service at Telford. Always happy to help, pleasant fast and efficient service. Would highly recommend this as a place to take your car too especially for tyres and repairs.

I wanted to commend the friendly staff at Formula One Autocentre Telford. I popped in at around 4:30 PM on Saturday with a concerning rattle coming from my front wheel. To my surprise, they quickly diagnosed the issue, which turned out to be a collapsed spring along with a few other problems.

Early the next morning, at about 10 AM on Sunday, they gave me a call with a very reasonable quote for the repairs. To top it off, by 1 PM that same day, my car was ready for collection.

I am genuinely impressed by the excellent 5-star service provided. The speed, efficiency, and friendliness of the staff made what could have been a stressful situation much more manageable.

The staff members were nice and professional. They were correct and helped quickly.

John removed my lock nut quickly without any damage to my alloy.

The mechanics falsely charged me for faults on my car that were not there. I only used this as it was a last minute thing and my garage was fully booked with this being the cheapest. I had booked a service and mot as its being offered cheap . I had to pay for new windscreen wipers as mine were apparently faulty even though they weren't. I was also quoted over £600 for other problems which apparently needed fixing which i declined. I took my car to my local and another garage i trust for a second opinion and no faults where found on my car. The whole crew there are rude and very unprofessional

Not my first and won't be my last time at F1 in Telford, always very competitive on price. Tyre replacement and brake fluid change undertaken quickly and efficiently. They even checked and adjusted the pressure in all my tyres and reset my car's monitoring system at no extra charge. Maybe small details but very much appreciated.

I called into our local branch at Haybridge Telford on the off chance the staff could have a look at my car as it had developed a fault. I was made welcome, my car was inspected within minutes, the fault identified, I was advised of the fault and given a quote. The cost of the repair was reasonable so I agreed to the work being carried out. My car was repaired the same day and I left satisfied. However, the next day, there was something not quite right with the repair, I took my car back, I was again treated with courtesy and polite, he minor glitch was put right. I would recommend taking your car to these chaps, they are a good set of blokes. I recommend this branch and the staff. Cllr Phil Millward

If you have disposable income or don’t mind spending money, you may not be overly concerned. However, for most people, these offers can be a trap. The prices for services may seem low, but they can lead to various issues with your car. For instance, if your brake pads still have 60 percent of their lifespan left, a mechanic (Formula One) tells you that only 10 percent remains. This pattern can continue, and before you know it, you could end up paying over £1,000.

Be cautious; this is a significant trap. I personally experienced it when my engine light came on and ended up paying a total of £1,300. To make matters worse, the engine light came back on just half a day after I picked up my car. When I asked for an explanation, the staff responded rudely and claimed it was another issue, which turned out to be the primary problem from the beginning.

As someone new to the Telford area, I found this garage very off-putting. I would advise you to avoid it. The amusing part is that after your review, you got an email stating that the area manager would reach out within the next three days to address your issue. However, that's not to happen, as customer care doesn’t seem to be a priority for them.
