I searched for Holyhead to Dublin ferry…

I searched for Holyhead to Dublin ferry return for 1 week Friday to the following Friday. Unfortunately the website brought up results for an entirely different journey and time frame. The website gave me a price for the opposite direction and returning on the following Saturday not Friday. Thus I had to pay a further £40.00 booking fee for reversing the journey and spend an extra night in Ireland. It seems like a basic requirement to offer prices and availability for the requested journey and not something entirely different. Very disappointed with the service and will be putting my experience with this website online so other customers do not suffer the same negative experience.

We appreciate you sharing your experience. We are concerned to hear about the difficulties you encountered with our website and the incorrect journey details, which led to additional costs and an extended stay.

We are actively reviewing our system to prevent such discrepancies for future bookings.

Just to clarify, our systems does not automatically select routes/dates, but it does give closest options, based on what customers enter. So customers can select the best option and proceed from there. I am sorry if this was confusing.

Also, we always show a summary of what is being booked and paid for, throughout the booking process.

Booking Amendment Confirmation - 17481299 -

This used to work great, but now they are just time waisters. So hard to communicate and understand what is going on now.

You answer their mail and get:

They wrote to me, I have answered, and then they tell me to write somewhere else???

The chat bot tells you rubbish also!
All I wanted was
Ferry Booking Amendment Confirmation - 17481299 - but suddenly I was unable to change, and no explenation given. Just kicked me from the chat since I was not responding quick enough after hours of ignoring me!!! Wait and give me the same grace I gave to you, no?

About 30 mails in, and they are still not offering explanation on what is going on with their website, and each answer get automated response that I have wrote them wrong, and then get's the real answer, which is still ignoring my question, and answering already answered I did not asked for.

It's as if they do not read my mails at all.

The solution they are offering is one off, not a permanent solution or explanation how to handle these issues in future and what is actually going on, that things have changed, that simple booking change is so difficult now.

Your request was received and handled within minutes. We provided you with the amendment options and the applicable quote, and we are currently awaiting your response in order to proceed with the booking amendment.

We appreciate that the process may have been frustrating, but we can confirm that your request was received and actioned promptly, and our team remains ready to assist as soon as we receive your reply.

Absolutely appalling, if you need help all you get is AI bot!
I have repeatedly requested a phone call but to no avail!
I am at my wits end and will NEVER use this company again!
