Our previous response was intended to acknowledge your experience and concerns publicly whilst remaining mindful of discussing personal case details within a review platform. However, we are sorry if this came across as dismissive or as though your concerns were not being taken seriously. That was certainly not our intention.

We appreciate the frustration and disappointment caused following the change in outcome after the lender requested additional information as part of their underwriting process. Whilst mortgage applications can sometimes change following full assessment by the lender, we do understand how distressing and financially impactful this situation has been for you both. We’re also sorry if the timelines, stages, and potential outcomes of the lender’s process were not made fully clear from the outset.
