Shameful Customer Service – Lied About Return & Compensation
Absolutely terrible experience with FirstCry — never trusting this platform again.
I received a call from their agent offering a 50% discount on diapers. I ordered two packs based on that call. Once delivered, I opened one pack and found torn, defective diapers inside. To make things worse, when I checked the app, the item was marked as non-returnable — something never mentioned by the agent during the call.
I submitted a return request with proper photo proof, and then they called back to say they would compensate for one item only — which I reluctantly agreed to. But guess what? The next thing I see on the app is that my request was REJECTED, stating "no proper proof" — after they themselves confirmed compensation!
This is pure fraud and manipulation. FirstCry is deceiving customers, hiding return policies, giving false verbal promises, and then quietly rejecting claims. Their customer care process is a joke, and their agents are misleading people over calls.
If you care about your money and sanity, avoid shopping from FirstCry.
Fraudulent activities by first cry
So the thing is I have been a very loyal customer of first cry for like 7-8 years and had ncer been disappointed with the products or services. However since this year first cry has deteriorated their services so much that I am impelled to call them frauds.
What happened is that in January 2025 I had purchased a pair of clogs for my 2 year old and the size was a little big so I placed an exchange. Now the old product was oicked up and a new size was delivered to me over the bext few days. Next in May 2025 I placed a fresh order and the very next day the order was cancelled by first cry and less amount was refunded to me. I called up customer care and what they told me was really shocking and surpising. They said that their warehouse has reported that the order that I exchanged in January was not the same as delivered to me and that they had received some other product. I enquired them that if that was the case then why did they gave me the right product in exchange, and that how come they have realised this after 5 months, to which the executive had no answer.
Moving forward recently in May and June I placed another order and the same case was repeated. They automatically canceled the order and refunded less amount citing the same reason.
Just imagine the agony and mental distress I faced being a long term loyal customer of first cry who has shopped for lakhs in the past years.
I don’t know what to say next. Anyways I have now stopped using their website completely and would never recommend anyone for the same.

I would give a -5 if allowed. The customer service is pathetic. They don't even try to read email and understand a customer's issue. For people living abroad shoppre type services are boon. But they classify it as bulk and automatically cancel orders. For years they are telling same response. Not trying to learn or upgrade at all.

Extremely Disappointed – Damaged Product & Incompetent Customer Service
I am absolutely appalled by the experience I’ve had with FirstCry. I had ordered a baby bassinet with the expectation of receiving a safe and quality product for my newborn. Instead, what I received was a damaged item, with packaging in terrible condition – completely unacceptable for a baby product.
It’s been over two weeks since I raised the issue, and despite sending multiple emails, detailed photographs, and even videos of the damaged product, FirstCry’s customer care has been nothing short of pathetic.
Instead of resolving the issue promptly, your team seems to have made it their mission to delay, frustrate, and emotionally exhaust customers. Every time I respond with what you asked for, a new request follows: "Please send a different angle," "Please record an unboxing video" (how am I supposed to unbox again a product I’ve already received damaged?!). It’s clear that your strategy is to stall and wear the customer down.
The damage is clearly visible in the images, yet your so-called “support team” seems either grossly incompetent or entirely indifferent. I genuinely wonder if the people handling these requests even understand basic customer service – or are they just a bunch of untrained kids behind the desk?
For a platform that claims to cater to parents and babies, this experience has been deeply disappointing and emotionally taxing. I expected care, empathy, and professionalism. Instead, I received carelessness, ignorance, and sheer negligence.
FirstCry, you have truly failed – not just in delivering a product, but in every possible aspect of customer service. I will never recommend your platform to any parent, and will be sure to share this experience widely so others don’t have to go through the same nightmare.
Poor customer service and personal experience
This is in reference to my recent order with first cry. I had returned one of the items from my end with an OTP based reverse pickup to a courier person assigned by First cry. I haven’t received the refund for the same because they lost the return parcel from their end and they expect me to bear the expense for it. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. Even after repeated attempts to recover my money, all they did is say sorry we’re unable to provide you with the refund this time. I regret buying from First cry and suggest everyone else to never buy from them because they’re only trying to rob us and make us look like a fool.

I bought some products from firstcry. firstly i received them very late i.e after 15 days late than expected date. Now I have to return one of the product, return approved but no one is coming to take the parcel, they postponing the date. I placed multiple orders on FirstCry at the same time. While most items were delivered without issue, one order (a kurta set) was never received, despite the system showing it as delivered.
I promptly contacted customer support and followed all provided instructions, yet my refund request was denied without a valid explanation.
A formal complaint was submitted through the National Consumer Helpline (Docket No: 7298899), but unfortunately, there has been no response or resolution to date.
This experience raises serious concerns about the reliability of the order fulfillment process. I expected better accountability and customer service from a reputed platform like FirstCry.

FirstCry.com is an absolute joke when it comes to delivery promises. They show “Same-Day Delivery” in bold to fool you into placing the order – and then take 3 to 4 days to deliver. And no, this isn't a rare glitch – this happens EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Why offer “Same-Day Delivery” if you have no intention of fulfilling it? This is not just poor service – it's deliberate deception. Parents rely on timely deliveries for their babies – and FirstCry just plays with that trust for profit.
Zero reliability, zero accountability, and fake promises on repeat. FirstCry, either deliver what you promise or stop lying to your customers. You’ve permanently lost my trust.

Bad Policies and Accusations
They have a very bad policy in terms of limiting quantities of purchase of each product (1-2 per product) Canceling orders and even flagging your account for no reason .
I do not have time to purchase diaper stock for every 4 days or 2 bottle of soaps and it’s my minimum right to decide how I wish to organize and proceed with my shopping. Either to stock for every month or every week .
I do not find shopping for 5 bottles of as a speculating amount . I was flagged in their system as reseller and making profit out of it.
I was asked by the customer service to cancel my account and create a new one as I am flagged on the blacklist - for no reason- I want to proceed placing orders .
I used to shop everything from there and been a long time customers for over 2 years now!
It is quite unfortunate and disappointing to create scenarios and accuse customers of such strange assumptions or even interfere with how they prefer to shop.

I am writing to raise a serious concern regarding one of the products I ordered last month, which has still not been delivered (Shipment ID: 111520844820) While I have already canceled all the other items from this order, this particular product could not be canceled and has remained undelivered for over a month now.
As per the tracking status, the product has reached the nearest hub, yet no one from the delivery team has contacted me (Xpressbess). I continue to receive delay notifications daily with no valid explanation provided. This kind of careless and unprofessional service is extremely disappointing from a reputed brand like FirstCry.
I request that this issue be addressed immediately.
Additionally, I urge you to review the performance of the current delivery team (Xpressbess) assigned to our region, as their irresponsible handling is clearly affecting customer experience and trust. Multiple products I had ordered were not received purely due to this issue.
