Great experience for me as an expat
I am a German expat in the US and was very happy that First Tech Fed proved to be such a great partner in building a life in this new environment. Both contacts at First Tech Fed (Jake Stone in setting up my bank account while still being in Germany and Amjad Marri in finalizing everything upon arrival in the US) were equally helpful and supportive and simply nice to work with. I highly recommend First Tech to anyone looking for this kind of service!

Cherry Aung Sann, a dedicated personal banker at First Tech Federal Credit Union, provided exceptional assistance during our recent banking experience. Initially, we visited the Palo Alto branch to request a name change, and her support was invaluable. Subsequently, we were informed about the attractive promotional interest rate offer, and she diligently assisted us in opening the account. Her follow-up the following day was prompt and effective, and she even helped us resolve any issues related to setting up online banking. Overall, her professionalism and attention to detail were commendable.

Each time I visit this branch
Each time I visit this branch, I have been greeted with kindness and support. Everyone from the manager to the associates that have helped me out. Most recent visit Cherry Aung Sann promptly set me up with a cashier's check and also gave me advice on which cards would meet my needs if I wanted to make a change. She also followed up with more information via email that I appreciated.

Best credit union
My husband and I have been banking at this credit union over 40 years when it began as HP credit union. Everyone is professional and helpful especially Amjad Marrid. He goes above and beyond for his customers. My entire family has accounts with this bank because of the attention and customer service we’re received. We look forward to continuing this association.

First Tech Credit Union offers personalized service
First Tech Credit Union offers personalized service that I don't get at the big banks. When I go to the Palo Alto branch I interact with bankers sitting at their desks instead of a long line of customers waiting for the next teller. First tech is knowledge, efficient, and friendly.

My appointment today was with Yvette Moran. My husband and I have had the same account since 1981, when the credit union was called Hewlett-Packard Federal Credit Union. We are very glad to have a branch so close to our home. Without the Palo Alto branch of First Tech, we would most likely move our business to Stanford Federal Credit Union, which is less than 2 miles away. The Palo Alto branch of First Tech is well managed; actually the entire staff is excellent. Yvette, who helped me today, is an absolute gem. She has helped me dozens of times, and she has never, ever made a mistake. She explains things well. She is incredibly smart, knowledegable, and capable. She also has very good people skills.
