Had the pleasure of dealing with Jake regarding my file, absolutely wonderful and reassuring all the way through since he took over my file. Flint Bishop have been amazing.
Part way through our sale process, PM Law went into liquidation causing the immediate closure of our Solicitors. Flint Bishop offered our solicitor a job within days of this happening and she was able to take us with her. Flint Bishop allowed us to continue with the conveyancing process exactly where we’d left off, so we didn’t have to start all over again, thus saving time.
They made it easy and straightforward and I can’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done.

Clearly don't bother getting notes from British Gas.

Chasing debt for an empty property, for a bill British Gas have admitted is grossly over estimated.

Can't enter meter readings as it says they're too low. Took photos daily for them, got the meter replaced, didn't update their records with the new meter number. Still won't take readings from me. Distributor has taken readings 3 times in 3 months and STILL do not an actual accurate bill, just a grossly overestimated one.

They legal support should be to close businesses like this down who are not fit for purpose.

My buyer sadly got stuck with Sukhy Kandola, who didn’t send any queries to my solicitor for 3 months. Once she finally sent it still took another 3 months to get anywhere near exchanging as she ignored emails for weeks. She would promise to send documents by her own deadlines and miss them by weeks. It’s now been almost 7 months and our completion date has been pushed back at the last minute as documents weren’t sent in time. Appalling couldn’t discourage you anymore to avoid this company like the plague!!

Robin Poole is very prompt with his duties and was always available whenever we had any questions or confusion. He chased the other side effectively and played a key role in helping us conclude the deal smoothly.

Sarah Sargent’s knowledge is commendable. The buyer’s solicitors requested certain documents to complete the transaction, which would have cost us significant time and money, and we were unsure whether they were actually required. Sarah stepped in and firmly clarified that these were not a legal requirement, saving us unnecessary expense.

The team I dealt with (including Sarah and Olivia) were all pleasant, professional and efficient.
They were on hand to respond to queries and despite an issue with the purchasers solicitor, that delayed matters, the all acted swiftly and efficiently.

Richard Buckley from Flint Bishop dealt with mediation between myself and my wife due to going through the divorce procedure. Richard was very good resolving the process efficiently, profesionally, and quickly.
The mediation brought things to satisfactory resolution amicably and fairley.

What a useless company.

Been chasing me for a dept from British gas for over a year that they know is totally wrong.
Both flint bishop and British gas are refusing to deal with the issue.

I put in 3 SAR ( SUBJECT ACCESS REQUEST) to flint bishop over 3 months and they have fail to provide it.

Now flint bishop are now refusing to deal with it and won't let me speak to a manager or supervisor about it.

I spoke to Ali Kherellah who is a supervisor about this in December 2025, he is now refusing to contact me about it??

I spoke to another supervisor called Mohamme iliyas who also failed to deal with it or contact me back. He has now left the company.

I even tried to contact the CEO Qumer Ghafoor about why no complaints has been dealt with or this issue is still ongoing. But they refused to contact me.
I did speak to his personal assistant who promised to contact me back. They also did not contact me back and actually blocked me from contacting them!!!

I phoned today to find out about my complaints that I've been told are still open, but today I've been told they won't deal with them any more!!!!!

So multiple compliments are still not dealt with and are now left unanswered!!!

They even blocked my number to contact them whilst still pursuing an incorrect dept.

What a bunch of bullies they are.

Nasty nasty nasty useless company that likes to threaten people then refuses to deal with the consciences.

I've probably spoken to nearly everyone in the 2 call centers that I gave numbers for including supervisors and PA to the CEO. they know exactly who I am. What a joke.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service provided by Jacqueline Byrd and her assistant, Jade Brumpton, during the conveyancing process for the sale of myfather's property.

The transaction involved additional complexity because I was acting under a Lasting Power of Attorney, which required extra documentation, including certification of origin documents and other formal verifications. Despite these additional requirements, Jacqueline handled everything with professionalism, clarity, and patience, ensuring that each stage of the process was explained and managed efficiently. Partway through the transaction, Jacqueline’s previous firm closed. This situation was completely outside of her control, yet it could easily have caused disruption or uncertainty. However, I was able to track her down when she moved to a new firm, and I specifically chose to continue working with her because of the trust and confidence she had already established. I am very glad that I did.
Throughout the process, Jacqueline and Jade were consistently helpful, responsive, and supportive. Their communication was clear, and they dealt with what could have been a stressful and complicated sale with professionalism and care.

As a small token of my appreciation for their hard work and dedication, I sent flowers to both Jacqueline and Jade to thank them for the excellent support they provided throughout the process.

We have decided to 'REVERT' back to Flintbishop with our review of how we found they handled the conveyancing of our property sale. We say 'REVERT' as Beth loved using that particular word and using it here will hopefully bring a smile to her face. Overall we were very pleased with Flint Bishop, initially we found contact with Beth a little frustrating as she would only message us just before she finished for the day and this we found was too late incase we needed to ellicit a further response from her. However, as time went on in the conveyancing process, Beth proved how proffesional, patient and competent she was especially as our buyers were first time buyers and the process was not made easy by their naivety. Beth is a credit to Flint Bishop and we wish her well in her future career, and would like to thank the rest of the team there who were involved in our conveyancing and turning our dream of living by the coast into a reality.

We chose Flint Bishop solicitors, Derby for our conveyancing needs. They responded to our initial contact with a quick and competitive quote, followed by allocation to Lauren Briddon soon after instructed in mid December 2025. This has been an emotionally difficult time in that we were selling our late mothers property. Flint Bishop took on a case from Octopus Energy without carrying out even the most basic due diligence. Octopus Energy decided that because my company shares a PO Box address with countless others, they could randomly assign debts from entirely unrelated companies to mine.

This false information was then passed to Flint Bishop, who repeated the same failure. A simple check on Companies House would have shown that no person connected to my company has any link whatsoever to the company they are attempting to pursue. Instead, they chose to harass a completely unrelated business rather than verify their facts.

Anyone else having similar issues, complain to the FCA. Search FCA Contact as a consumer, and your query is Consumer Credit > Debt Recovery.

Also make a complaint to the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

This company works on behalf of British Gas chasing bills. Problem is they don't have a clue, very rude, aggressive and intimidating.
I have been contacted previously by this company when the bill has been paid directly to British Gas and they still keep chasing - just to ensure they get their payment from British Gas. Anyway they are causing British Gas to have a very bad reputation and customers to move on and find alternative sjuppliers.
