Great info. Very engaging. First met at the Bushcraft festival 2025.

I have attended many of Gavin's free Wednesday Weed Waffle chats as well as his recent Wild Cocktails event. He is very entertaining and so knowledgeable that, even as an experienced forager, I always come away having learnt something new. I would definitely recommend his courses.

Gavin was clear and easy to understand, very thoughtful and knew his stuff well. I enjoyed a dandetini cocktail as well as other fantastic cocktails. Gavin was aware I no longer drink alcohol and catered for my needs making mocktails throughout the evening. Any questions I fired at him he answered thoughtfully and thoroughly. Highly recommend any event he is doing..also bought a couple of books of foraging in Wales through the seasons.. excellent 👌

We booked on to a group session with Gavin at the Bushcraft Show. In the hour he had, Gavin shared a lot of great information, all of which related to plants you can easily find in your garden, which made the talk super-relevant.

He was also really happy to take questions after the festival, which is very generous of him. Would definitely recommend attending one of his sessions.

Gavin is incredibly insightful and I feel like I’ve learnt a great deal from the foraging experience at Arley Hall Food Festival.
Looking forward to creating some of the wholesome recipes in his cookbook too.

The tour was really informative and a very personalised experience. You can tell they really care about what they are doing and talking about. We learned a lot and really enjoyed our walk, and the brownies were excellent too!

The foraging masterclass was really informative, and Gavin pointed out many common plants that would be easy to spot and use for someone new to foraging - would recommend!
