Excellent platform for book keeping and accounting especially for landlords
I have tried a number of softwares eg sage, hammock to name a few. However FreeAgent has everything I need and it is so easy to do. I can get all of the information I need quickly about properties and tenants

I switched to FreeAgent from another Making Tax Digital (MTD) software provider because they didn’t offer telephone support. For me, being able to speak to a real person is far better than relying on bots, help guides or messaging systems. While FreeAgent’s live chat is good, their telephone support is excellent. Having someone who can see exactly what’s happening on your account makes resolving problems much quicker and easier.

I initially found linking my bank feed a little challenging and made a few mistakes along the way. However, I found an alternative approach that works well for me. The software is intuitive, and once you’ve spent a little time exploring it, it soon becomes easy to use.

I’ve done my own bookkeeping for the past 10 years and have no intention of employing an accountant. If you’re used to keeping a simple cash book or Excel spreadsheet, you can absolutely manage FreeAgent too.

Moved over from quickbooks this software is so much easier to use and set up for MTD, 10/10 freeagent;)

Has everything I need and gives a sense of relief to feel more on top of my business finances.
I had a bit of an issues syncing my bank accounts and some transactions were being pulled into the wrong account but managed to solve with AI!

This is a brilliant platform for managing business. I am a small business with little accountancy experience. I have managed to not use an accountant as free agent is so through. I struggled a little with some complex payroll issues but Free agent Accountancy support officers were there to talk me through it all.

Kyle was patient, helpful, charming & polite, he was quick to point me in the right direction for my quest. He certainly enabled me to solve the issue I had.

Excellent support that was prompt and resolved my issues.

I had a few tricky questions about onboarding with mid-quarter accounts and VAT. Emily was fantastic, and exceptionally helpful. She provided fast and detailed responses to guide me through a reasonably tricky process. Very impressed and very grateful.

I asked for help in registering for Making Tax Digital.
I received no help at all.
I asked why you had not linked my Tax UTR to Free Agent. That was ignored.
I have given you one star because you replied quickly.
But not helpfully. A lot of room for improvermrnt.

The program is easy to connect with bank accounts, credit cards, and directly with hmrc. It is intuitive, and I am already finding the shift to MTD much easier than expected.
The only thing I needed help doing was setting my starting balances. You jut do this once, and I was quickly supported in doing this with their customer service team - they were excellent.

Very good easy software to use and integrated with my bank would highly recommend

Advisors are always very knowledgeable about their product willing to show features and make suggestions to use it more efficiently.

Accounting made easy for me

I have recently started using the FreeAgent app as advised by my accountant. It is available free to me as I bank with RBS.
I find it extremely easy to navigate and it is actually a far more enjoyable way to keep a record of my self employed accounts than writing it all down and typing it into excel every month!

Literally couldn't have been a better experience.
Articulate, friendly and patient help was given.
To say i was pleased is an understatement.
