Defective sofa, poor customer support
I purchased a sofa from Furniture Edit a month ago, and it’s been a nightmare. Upon delivery, two out of three cushions were defective—one had visible tufted dimples, and the other appeared flat, completely mismatched with the rest. They did not match the sofa’s finish at all. I contacted customer support immediately. They told me to find a label under the sofa. Living alone, I had to ask friends for help, only to discover the label area was ripped off. It raised my suspicion that the sofa might even be second-hand. I’ve sent photos, messages, and chased them for a month. I’ve been ignored with no resolution. Worse yet, their phone number doesn’t even work—I’ve tried multiple times with no luck. Overall, a really disappointing experience.

Excellent quality, excellent service …
We ordered a sofa and two chairs for our marketing suite, which arrived quickly and was really stunning. We needed support with an administrative deal and Matt, the customer service manager was excellent. We really couldn’t praise Matt and the company highly enough and now Furniture.edit will be my first port of call when we needed something else.

Perfect purchase
Perfect purchase - item as described, promptly delivered. It was a lampshade so Maybd the packaging could be a bit more robust. We were fortunate, I think, that we suffered no damage but it seemed a bit flimsy.

Absolutely had enough of this company I am being charged £36 to return a £55 rug, which at first was in shock, I now want to go ahead and return it because I just don’t want to deal with them anymore every time I call leave my details no one gets back to me, even emailed nothing what do I have t o do to return this rug ?
Reply to the response to Furnitureedit company’s ….if you call £36 a small admin fee for the smallest size rug you can buy then your very much out of touch, nobody on this planet would knowing buy a £55 rug to be told if it wasn’t suitable all you will get refunded is £19 …..it’s a lot of money so just making everyone aware if you have a return.
Also your customer team did not reply mulitiple times hence why I left X 4 messages to be called back and didn’t receive anything until today an email just to clear that up.
UPDATE REPLY I have received 2 messages from yourselfs why would I bother calling if I got responses and it’s still £36 hasn’t changed.
Thank you for absorbing the initial delivery charge of £22 that’s lucky because that would have cost me a whopping £58 to buy and return a small rug, more expensive than the rug itself.

We’re sorry to hear you feel this way and appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
To clarify the return charge: the £36 fee is not a penalty and is not related to the price of the rug, but to the size and weight of the item, which is how couriers calculate costs. Unfortunately, couriers charge by dimensions and weight, not by item value.
In this case, the return is due to a change of mind and not a fault, which is clearly outlined in our Terms & Conditions. For change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for return costs. The rug is collected directly by the manufacturer, and the charge includes:
Courier collection
Repacking
A small administration and restocking fee
It’s also important to note that we have not passed on the original delivery cost to you, meaning the business has already absorbed a loss of £22.00 on the initial delivery.
Regarding communication, our Customer Service Manager replied multiple times over the Christmas and New Year period, despite the office being officially closed for Christmas, handling queries remotely while on holiday.
We would also like to clarify that the return was organised on the first day the manufacturer’s office reopened, and the customer will be contacted directly by the courier to arrange a suitable collection time.

Chunky and trendy sofas
The sofas are beautiful, just what I was expecting. The delivery was on point. My only criticism is that the drivers left all the cardboard outside my home without telling me.

I have not received my order which I ordered on the 25th of October it was a preorder order so I was willing to wait however I am now getting emails as if my order has been completed and I should rate my order and rate my item which I have not received I still haven’t received tracking or estimated delivery I have emailed the company and gotten no response

We’ve since spoken with you via phone and email to clarify the situation — your order was placed for a pre-order item, and the product page clearly stated that the item would be arriving at our warehouse around mid-November due to high demand.
The emails you received asking for a review were automated messages linked to our in-stock items and not intended to reflect the actual status of your pre-order. We agree this can be confusing and are already looking into how we can improve this system to avoid similar issues in future.

Five Star Sofa…
Matt sent me multi close up photos of the Funk sofa I wanted when I asked for more information about the material. All my questions were answered by the following day and the friendly delivery men were on time. I love my Funk corner sofa; it's very comfortable, looks fantastic and was a great price. I had a faulty castor wheel on my bed …
I had a faulty castor wheel on my bed settee and it took two deliveries to sort out the problem with spare parts. Trivial as it sounds it was still important to me
