Storm at the weekend caused some damage…
Storm at the weekend caused some damage to my greenhouse, however went on the web site and ordered replacements and pleased to say that they arrived only 2 days after ordering. Well done an excellent service, and I would highly recommend GardenSite.

I fell in love with this pergola

Replacement raised bed
Three years ago I took delivery and installed three excellent raised beds. Unfortunately there was a problem with one of them this year, but as they were still within the guarantee period, I hoped to get a replacement free of charge.
It couldn’t have been easier. Garden site are a great company, helpful, efficient and friendly. I will be recommending them at every opportunity.

Great piece of kit for my greenhouse
Great piece of kit for my greenhouse, enabled multiple sowings and potting-on little seedlings.
sensible height - not too tall so plants in the top tier can grow taller if required.
Only slight issue is keeping everything watered although some water does drip through, Recommend placing a large drip tray underneath eg a compost bag tray to prevent water pooling underneath.

Greenhouse - 8ft x 6ft
Ordered at the height of Lockdown and was told a long delivery, which was understandable. Ultimately delivered a few weeks early which was good.
Assembly needs 2 people, ideally 3 people for around 30 minutes when you are putting all four sides up and constructing the roof.
The instructions were OK, as long as you take the time to read carefully. A bit tricky around the construction of the door. I messed up a bit by rushing ahead and needed to order 2 extra parts, as a couple of the runners came apart (because I'd not followed the instructions).
The extra runner parts were delivered 3 days after I requested them, very efficient.
Overall very happy with the quality of the greenhouse and the customer service that goes with it.

Ordered statue in July. Now October but not arrived
Ordered a statue. Money was taken from my account on 23 July. Responses for updates on when statue will be shipped are either "due to be despatched the week commencing the 20th of September" or "I will enquire this information with the suppliers. Once they have responded, I will contact you with an update", (no update) or "your order is due to be dispatched from the warehouse tomorrow" (20th October). Money left my account but no statue delivered. Not answering the phone. Have asked for my money back. Wrong to take money that early and not deliver or even give an update.
5/11 UPDATE: 1/11 had a response "We have requested for your order to be cancelled with the warehouse. Once confirmed a refund will be processed back to your account. We apologise for the delay and any inconvenience caused." No refund so far and no update.

Our Enigma range of items have, without doubt, been the worst hit in terms of supply and demand over the last 1.5 years. Our suppliers have struggled with continued stock delays at both the UK and Vietnamese ports (where these products come from) due to both the current pandemic and issues relating to Brexit which has meant that a lot of customers have been subject to much longer delivery timescales which we can only apologise for.
I can now see that, as per your request, your order has been cancelled and a full refund has been credited back to your card.

Very smooth. Ordered Bulbs months ago (April) at Pashley Gardens where we were able to view the lovely tulips. Filled in forms. Bulbs arrived this week.

Need to learn lessons in Customer Service
I used to love this company, couldn't buy enough goodies for the garden, But something happened, the Customer Service is abysmal, i vowed never to use them again. a good adage Buyer Beware!
I see they are trying to muddy the waters! Customer services team, look at procedure after purchasing oriental table & benches! I do have the replies you sent! and as for the statues, I really had to haul you over the coals for breaking trades description, only after I highlighted concerns did you change your website.

We do sincerely apologise for the issue that occurred with your order. Having taken a look at the communications, I can see that there was a slight discrepancy with the height of the item which was reported upon delivery. Although not an excuse, it is inevitable that, from time to time, specifications may be incorrect on the website as these are all inputted manually and are liable to human error. In such cases, our Customer Care Team will always endeavour to be proactive in resolving them as soon as possible to ensure that the customer's inconvenience is kept to a minimum.
In this case, I can see that you emailed in your concerns on 15 April and you were replied to on the same day with 2 potential resolutions: a partial refund to keep the item as it was or the option to have the item collected free of charge in exchange for a full refund. You replied that you were happy to accept the partial refund which was then processed back to your original payment method, again, on the same day, and you then expressed your satisfaction with this outcome.
Given this, I was saddened to read your review as it differs greatly from your last email. I am unsure as to what more our Customer Care Team could have done to assist in this case. We apologise again for your troubles and hope this would not deter you from purchasing from us in the future.

Excellent customer care
I ordered an aluminium patio cover from site and when it was delivered some of the parts had damaged paint due to manufacturers delivery company fault.
I contacted customer care by Email and they responded immediately by contacting the manufacturer who sent out replacement parts within 2 days.
The response and communication was excellent and thanks were passed on to customer care.

I bought a fantastic quality Palmako shed from GardenSite few months back. Despite the initial mistake with the order confirmation which was not their mistake everything went according to plan. Yes the shed arrived few weeks later than the proposed delivery time however with disruption on the supply chain, it was something I anticipated. Overall great service

Authentic looking bird bath
The bird bath looks great ie as if it had been there for decades which is the look we wanted.
The delivery time was about four weeks as expected.
The only disappointing feature is that the manufacturer's name is rather obvious on the pedestal and it would have been better if more discreet ie out of sight underneath.

Although it is an online shop, the team can be contacted easily by phone or email. I was kept up to date on delivery times, and they even made sure that Barlow & Tyrie would come out to assemble everything given the delays in delivery (which was not GardenSite's fault).
