Terrible! Loose, now Broken Phone!
My crystalx d30 case looked good at first, but the corners slip off waaaaay too easily and now I have a cracked phone! I can find information about warrantees! Terrible!

I’ve got a gear4 D30 case , for my iPhone X ,take it out every couple of weeks to clean the speaker and charger holes , Took it out , and the whole back is smashed on my phone , the impact looks like it has been on the back top of phone and glass is cracked all the way down , D30 ? I thought this was some super material that absorbs the shocks of drops , can’t even remember dropping my phone so can’t of been a bad drop , very disappointed!

Back of phone shattered
I like the look and feel. The back of my iPhone X shattered in the case the furthest it dropped was off my lap onto the console of my car. Which is far from 9ft. I sent an email but didn’t even get a response. And to think I switched from otter box to this. Would recommend Otterbox not these
Right after I posted this they responded I sent an email with the required info and of course never heard back again!!!!

Very disappointed
I bought a Gear4 phone case for my iPhone 6s+ and was thrilled with it. I upgraded to an iPhone 7s+ and was advised by car phone warehouse that my existing gear 4 case wasn’t suitable as the camera slot was too small for the new phone. I therefore bought a gear 4 Piccadilly for my new phone. I am so disappointed as the side of the case are separating from the back and I now needs a new case paying £29.99 was a waste of money. I am not someone who is always on the phone to cause excessive wear, I keep it in my handbag in case of emergencies. Very very disappointed. Car phone warehouse wouldn’t help they said to get in touch with Gear 4 I have tried but can’t find a number to ring. I am not on any of the social media accounts so no one to help me.

Absolute garbage
Absolute garbage. Bought a case for my S10 Note Plus and it started fraying around the edges within two weeks. After a month it's so badly frayed I'm embarrassed to use it. Do not buy this junk !
Update: Response to Claire who has responded below...
The only option you offer is to provide a replacement case - which presumably will also fall to pieces within a month. You also expect me to pay the shipping costs of the replacement.
You guys stink.

Don’t waste your money
Don’t waste your money, the entire back of my phone shattered underneath the case.

Such a shame. I've always had gear4 cases but when I bought the Oxford eco folio case for my new IPhone 11 Max it started to fray within just a couple of weeks of use. Carphone warehouse immediately exchanged without an issue but the whole point of buying the 'eco' option was that it was saving some plastic from being disposed of! Looking at other reviews this is a common issue. Surely the manufacturer tests these products before releasing them???

Worst case I’ve ever had
My gear 4 case is fraying and after 2 weeks went back to Carphone warehouse and it’s out of warranty and I need to contact the website but it doesn’t come up with British address how am I supposed to get a new cover with the lifetime warranty I actually supposed to have £34.99 for a cover that lasts 2 weeks is a joke anyone know how I can get in contact with a Uk version of gear 4 😱

G4 Cover Fail..
Bought a new G4 cover at carphone warehouse with my Note S10+ expecting it to be bulletproof for the price. After less than a week fraying at the corners and now 3 weeks later the whole side and front is falling apart...embarrassed to even take my phone out with this third rate cover now ;-(. My previous G4 phone cover broke the latch after a few months of use...starting to see a trend with these guys.
Update: I was sent now a new replacement which is an 'Upgrade' on the original version, the new one has a little plastic bumper now to stop the fraying...suspect this is a common fault!! Good customer service though once the process was started, keep your receipt though!!!

Quality of this gesr4 Crystal is poor
Quality of this gesr4 Crystal is poor. Dropped iPhone 11 pro max and screen has cracked. Thought this case was guaranteed protection. Not worth £30 as clearly doesn’t protect. Not sure what warranty actually covers.

Gear4 Piccadilly iPhone case from Carphone Warehouse.
I bought three Gear4 cases in July but one had failed by November. The sides separated from the main case.
I have never seen that occur before, even on cheap cases and this one cost £29.99!
Carphone Warehouse advised that a warranty exchange could be obtained on the Gear4 website.
That actually entails paying £9.99 for postage to get the new case then another postage fee to return the old case back to America, or suffer a charge of £29.99 if it’s not returned.
I’m not impressed with the idea of probably paying half of the cost of the case to replace what is a defective product.
I won’t be buying another Gear4 product and will avoid Carphone Warehouse in the future.

year now .. but all the sides and bottom have now split .I returned to CPWhouse were I bought it they referred me direct to gear4 .. but I cant seem to find a direct link to raise my issue but been a great case up until now does the job

Zero Customer Service
I have tried, without success, to contact Gear 4 for a long time now regarding my Gear4 iphone case carrying a "lifetime guarantee"
The clasp broke several months ago and the case became very shabby looking quite quickly. Gear 4 have not responded at all and the retailer, Carphone Warehouse, where I paid £34.95 for the case, dont want to know.!!!

Worst case I’ve used yet.
I’ve had the Piccadilly case for my iPhone 11 for just over a month. I dropped from 3 feet while getting out of the car. The screen and case both cracked. It’s a $350 mistake to trust this brand.

Both myself and my friends have had 2 cases (Oxford Eco). After only 4 weeks all 4 of the cases have become badly frayed. Considering how expensive the cases are, the quality is very poor indeed.

Dropped iPhone XS Max on back with Gear4 case on, and back of phone spider-cracked. Had dropped it previously, and case had protected phone. Not sure if there would be a product better than Gear4, but disappointed phone did crack with this case.

Disappointing quality
Both my husband and myself got these new gear4 cases with our phone upgrades in Carphone Warehouse. So disappointed that both of our cases have split down the edges and we haven't even dropped our phones. Such bad quality for the price of them. Wouldn't recommend.
