Started charging €9/m without warning
Started charging €9 a month without any warning. The penta account was a good option when it was free. The card and account worked pretty well overall. If you don't already have another bank account, then maybe it's worth it at €9 a month, there are hardly any low cost business banks in Germany.
But be warned, I received an email to say my account had been "upgraded" and suddenly I'm paying €9 a month without warning. For this reason alone I will terminate my account and will never engage with this company again.

As you have actively agreed to the new terms and conditions, your Basic tariff has been upgraded to the Starter tariff (EUR 9 excl. VAT per month) from 28 August 2022.
The decision that Penta will no longer offer the Basic account model to existing customers was not taken lightly. We are aware that this will not please every customer. We are really sorry to see you go!

All in all the product covers all the important features an online bank needs to cover. And if the support is needed, the required changes are implemented very quickly and the support is very polite and fast to respond.

Sicherheit sehr gross geschrieben. Die Penta Bank kann ich nur weiterempfehlen, weil sie sehr kompetent ist und sehr viel Wert auf persönliche Zufriedenheit legt. Schnelle Abwicklung von Bankangelegenheiten und zuverlässige Kundenberater helfen bei Forderungen relativ zügig aus.
