I was already with an agent when I was approached by Gilbert & Rose about marketing my property. I was sceptical but agreed. I found them to be a very professional outfit with their marketing being second to none. Ryan Reece negotiated the sale and Claire Skilbeck kept me fully updated on how the sale was progressing without being over powering.The sale was completed on the 19th June and I can't thank these pair enough. Would highly recommended this company.

Jody Loveday was brilliant in showing us around a property in Rayleigh- she was bubbly and down to earth. Upon making our offer she went above and beyond in making sure we were kept up to date on yeh progress of this. She even made contact with us outside of her working hours to make sure we were put at ease during this process.

This is by far the best estate agent in Rayleigh and the surrounding areas and Jody is an absolute credit to the company.

We hope to see this service continue on to the people within Gilbert and Rose’s sales progression team.

Kash sold our home and he was a pleasure to work with. We was made to feel like a mate and nothing was ever too much trouble for him. He took away the stress of selling a property and kept in contact at all times regarding buyers.

Ryan marketed our property and came to the initial meeting when we decided to sell our property with Gilbert & Rose. He didn’t pressure us or tell us things that we would want to hear, he was very honest and explained the way the company worked.
The pictures & write up were very professional but also showed the property as it was.

Leanne was our sales progressor, she kept us updated every week, she really took the stress of chasing a solicitor away.

Our search for a new, bigger family home started with Jody and ended with Jody, weird but true.

She attended through our very first viewing in July 2022 but we didn't end up taking the place because it just wasn't for us. Fast forward a few viewings later with multiple agencies and we were shown a lovely semi-detached home, the one we live in now, by Jody. We both really wanted the home to be ours and we simply asked her to put our application in the best possible light, so she must’ve done well.

I think we got this house simply because of her negotiating and keeping the deal afloat even at times when it seemed the vendor was about to pull out (which happened one-too-many times).

She was very courteous, friendly, on time and an all-round nice person to work with, not your typical agent. She just kept us informed about what was going on at all times, she was very friendly with our 3 year old daughter and even went out of her way to help us find contractors if we needed any. She gave advice on the area as well.

Our experience with Gilbert & Rose (the agency itself) was not flawless because we did get turned down (we thought unfairly) for another property by one of the other reps. We were just told someone else had offered more and we were not given the chance to counter. I had raised the issue and eventually cleared it up with management who were professional. But, looking back, I'm glad that we didn't get accepted on that property. However, with Jody, I cannot fault her level of dedication because she wanted us to get this property as much as we did and she done whatever she could to help us get there. Even past the initial sale stage, she kept in close contact.

Further to trying to sell our property from another agent, along came Ryan Reece from Gilbert & Rose who was smart, bright. & very professional & immediately introduced perspective buyers to view our property, one couple made an offer which we accepted and the purchase went through seamlessly. We were kept up to date & informed all through the process by Ryan and then Leanne. Well done Ryan & Leanne a big thank you. Would thoroughly recommend Gilbert & Rose if you have a property to sell!

We had a bad start on selling our house through another agent then Ryan came calling and we are so thankful he did, as his team Tia and Adam were expectional and so professional and we sold our house.
I would throughly recommend Gilbert and Rose to anyone as they are Friendly, professional and dyamite in all they do.

After 2 /3 months with another estate agents and no sale , relatively low viewings ,rare feedback ,Kash from Gilbert n Rose took it upon himself to call as he'd noticed my house had been for sale a while and hadn't sold . At first I wasn't for swoping estate agents I just thought they were all the same,but I'm so glad I did .The difference is unbelievable ,I'm having numerous viewings ,full feedback afterwards , they are so efficient in every way.
They also have taken on board what kind of property I'm looking for and have been so helpful keeping me up to date with any property that they think may be of interest to me .

The dealings with Gilbert & Rose from start to finish was exceptional. Firstly from being convinced by Sam to use them to market our property, after experiencing a terrible service from another estate agent. Josh selling our home quickly and finally to the star in the process Charlene, in Sales Progression. I cannot sing her praises enough. She was beyond efficient, always going the extra mile chasing and updating along the chain after liaising with all the buyers, brokers and solicitors. Throughout the process she updated me regularly. I felt I had my hand held all the way and she took any stress with selling away. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone this great Estate Agent. Thank you so much. I just want to praise Gilbert and Rose🌹 for their brilliant service. I am listed with over 20 estate agents in the area (since June 2022) to find me a 1 bedroom flat and the only agents who send me new properties when they are instructed is Gilbert and Rose🌹. So well done you guys shame on the rest who send me nothing. I will definitely use your company to list on the rental market when l find somewhere.

Ryan dealt with the sale up to the legal stage. He is a young man only 23 but has been an Estate agent since 17 and knows what he's doing. I've never liked dealing with Estate agents
but he was a breath of fresh air. No pressure, polite and professional. Say no more.
Megan dealt with the open day. She had 10 or more viewings and did a great job.

We spent most of Saturday, 6th August exploring Leigh-on-Sea with a view to moving from Surrey. From the outset Ryan, and his colleague Tia, were in constant contact, proactive, listened, reacted to our feedback and have become our go-to local property agents.
We viewed total six properties, three with G&R, they’re both aware of our refined criteria and I look forward to seeing them both in a few weeks for our second tranche of viewings.

Following our recent purchase of a new house Gilbert & Rose was fantastic helping us to find a tenant. Kaylie was proactive, efficient and took time to understand what we were looking for. She made the whole experience stressless and easy - would absolutely recommend them to others.

Absolutely brilliant Estate Agents!! They took really great photos of our property and worked really hard to show viewers round and updated us the next day with feedback and sold our property.
