Gina is a rude, narcissistic women who nearly at 40 hasn't worked out, treating people who work for free for her with respect is not the done thing in the industry. She works with people then blocks them, refuses to tag as shes scared they'll expose her, she talks down at other people working for free, her makeup is beyond terrible and nothing like her insta, turns up with a dirty shopping bag with dirty brushes, uses pound land products, gave a model an infection and all of them have terrible experiences of her snapping and being generally rude and fake... do not booked her shes a scam artist, she will brag and talk about herself for hours as shes self-obessed and pits people against themselves as shes deep down insecure, fraud. ALL her work is photoshopped so much you can't even tell who the person is nor the makeup is not hers. AVOID.

A liar and con artist. Be very careful, this woman should be in prison. She has paid for her blue tick on Instagram. Most of her followers are not real. The worst part is she cannot actually do makeup. She has fake posts and pretends she’s been in magazines, when she hasn’t. I know her friends who have cut ties with her due to her stealing money from them!! And she pretends she works out, when her entire body is fake!! She is not a makeup artist and instead of maybe trying to become one and excel in her profession she has decided it is easier to con people and charge them ridiculous amounts for hair and makeup and not turn up or do an awful job and on top be arrogant and disrespectful about it. What an awful human being.

PLEASE do not give your hard earned money to this absolute scam artist. This woman is one of the most disgustinggggg ingenuine people I have ever come across. Her “business” is to scam people out of money for a living.. LITERALLY. I took apart in her academy thinking she must be genuine due to all her social media “sponsors” and “global articles” .. infact due to further investigation finding out from the companies directly themselves they had never heard of her . Further more she has faked articles featuring in magazines that never actually existed (this came from the companies direct themselves from exchange of emails from head office etc) me and fellow students that where appalled by her so called academy that someone would go to such lengths just to con people out a lot of money with her “academy” and later I found out from the “runway work shop” she conned a poor girl out her life savings so some people are even worse off them me! I was so disgusted by her and what she is clearly trying and being successful of taking a lot of money of people who trusted her, I took her to court and WON. Unfortunately it is not easy to take people like this to court as you need hard evidence ( you as the claimant are more guilty until
Proved innocent so it is hard work and have to put costs into it yourself) but I’m sure she is taking much more care of giving people no chance getting their money back so BE VERY CAREFULL. As much as the money is important that people have wasted on investing in her, how a woman can do this to people and can continue doing so! As for reading some of the negative reviews, my experience was very similar. I wrote a review to try and spread awareness as she should not be able to this . Unfortunately it was a lesson of DO NOT trust everything you see, some things are not as legitimate as they seem (social media, tagging big brand names, false articles) be careful on who you invest money in as they can sell themselves as something they are not. Please do not give this inhumane person any of your time or money, give it to someone that actually runs real course you can learn from and wants to GENUINELY help you to learn and not purely for there own gains and fund ALOT of cosmetic surgery (clearly) All the money in the world could not help this lady, inside… or out.

She had ruined a family members wedding day by leaving half way through and not finishing her hair and makeup. But as per her past reviews she has a habit of doing this. Very unprofessional

Recently modelled for Ginas academy she is such a humble and sweet soul, very patient with her students, explained everything in detail and went the extra mile to give them tips and anecdotes etc. She is a great teacher, passionate in what she does and her makeup was flawless. Highly recommend her courses!

Will keep it simple. Course is advertised as a 5 day hair and makeup course, with an accredited certificate after and a gift bag worth £300. Also to be held at a central london location and that was changed the week before to the basement of a hair salon in Uxbridge which happened to be her local hairdressers. Using high end products - which ended up being drug store and primark products. Only the foundation was fenty or nars. Day 1- Spent the first half of the day talking about herself and how famous people hit on her. After lunch she did one look on a model. We weren't allowed to ask any questions unless she said it was ok to ask questions. She wouldn't repeat herself and blamed the students for not listening. Day 2 -repeat of day 1, rude to students, same makeup but different colours, we couldn't get close. When asked how we colour match etc she said to just 'figure it out'. On the day we were meant to learn how to apply makeup on darker skin the model didnt show and she had no plan B for the day and just repeated day 1 and 2. Day 4 - hair day. She spent a couple hours and simply put in a clip in pony and braided it to one side, then turned it into a bun. It looked awful when she did it. And that was that. Hair styling lesson - done. Day 5 - we apply makeup to our own model and a photographer comes and takes professional pic and we get to keep two of them for our portfolio. Great. We were starved. She bought lunch for everyone except her own students who paid her £2000 each and then went to the library to print out our certificates on thin paper which actually mean nothing in the real world. The course claimed we would be able to get brand discounts through the course but the truth is the brand discounts can be applied for by anyone. We then recieved our gift bags, in paper bags, filled with about £50 worth of low end products. One beauty blender, some opv lipgloss (gold and dark purple - not ever going to use) glitter eyeshadow which is so think and clunky u can't ever use. Two banana bakes that sell for £4 on amazon. The truth is this course is a scam. She doesn't actually teach you anything, she takes your money and teaches you the opposite techniques to what you should be doing so you don't become her competitor. Not to mention her foul, narcissistic personality. She claims she has a PA by the name of zerminay but when I call her PAs number Gina responds. She uses innocent students who want in into the industry, to work for her with no pay. She claims all students will be added to her website but this comes with a whole bunch of t&c, even if you do everything she asks it's a struggle to be added to her website which is completely substandard. I highly recommend a cheaper makeup artist such as Melissa Sophia where it's around £350, and you actually get high end products, learn the same, if not better techniques, a nice teacher for less then a quarter of the price.

Gina did my wife's make up for our wedding. she actually did 2 ceremonies.
On the day of the make up trial she messaged saying payment of £250 in her account was needed for the trial (this £250 was not in the original agreement), Then she changed the venue and time at last minute. I understand that the trial would need to be paid for but if I've been given a quote and then offered a trial without a further costing for a trial it's reasonable to assume the quote included the trial. As to the time and venue change, once is understandable, things happen but the timing especially was a sign of things to come. If only we'd known at that time.
The first ceremony did not go too well as Gina changed the time she was going to come to hours earlier than agreed without any discussion. She obviously felt she was able to dictate this as she did as the trial. Our ceremony was at 12 so my wife wanted to be ready for 11. Gina changed the time for us to be ready at 6 am so my wife, her mother and sister were just sitting around for 5 hours. She did not give a reason for this. I later found out the likely reason when on instagram she posted a newly done up bride a few hours after completing my wife. She took our money knowing she couldn't fulfil the times my wife requested or worse she took the extra booking after having booked my wife and shifted her to suit her own greed. Only she knows what the truth is. At this ceremony she just gave all three people (my wife, her mother and her sister) the same look with the hair, again without any discussion of what any of them wanted. So as well as messing them around rather than a bespoke look that you would expect from the price and her instagram posts they got a conveyor belt look. Poor.

So after this my wife had misgivings about Gina but this was 2 weeks before the religious ceremony and reception so she was not going to be able to book anyone half decent and felt trapped in the booking. Rather than enjoying the time before the wedding looking forward to it my wife was stressed about what her makeup would be like. Alas if it would have transpired that the only thing she would not be happy with was the make up we might have felt it was a qualified success considering what we knew.

However come the wedding day not only did the make up not match the colour scheme of what my wife was wearing Gina spent 40 minutes drinking coffee and relaxing rather than doing my wife's make up and hair. Then she left without completing her hair and head dress leaving her family to improvise. Her excuse was that her time for the morning was done (time she spent drinking coffee and relaxing). This was the 'first' look of the day. On the way to the reception my wife was in tears. Once we got there Gina started doing my wife's 'second' look in silence. Bearing in mind my wife messaged Gina the day before the wedding saying that the timings may be a bit fluid for the second part as weddings don't always run to time and Gina said quite nicely that she totally understands. On the day we running late as we warned. My wife gets a curt message saying to let Gina know when we are 10 mins away and she will meet us in the room and needs to be gone by 3.30. Either she again had another booking or just couldn't be bothered to get the job done. Again the make up didn't match the colour scheme of my wife's outfit and she left her hair frizzy.

At the end of all this she used photos of my wife on her instagram without permission.

Overall Gina was unprofessional, incompetent (she may have been good originally but seem to be trading on earlier success and just calling it in now), uncaring (a cardinal sin in a customer service industry), lazy, and felt because of her reputation she could change what ever details of the arrangements she wanted to suit either her want to relax earlier or greed to take on bookings she would need to squeeze in which would obviously impact on her service delivery. Gina shouldn't be allowed any where near any brides.

Great experience with Gina and San for my sisters wedding events. All looks were perfect and what I asked for - lasted all through the events and any feedback was taken on each time. Thank you xxx

What can I say! Me and Gina have worked together for over 6 months now! She is such a incredible person and so so supportive! Gina is so down to earth and easy to get on with. I really feel like I am in the company a friend. Whenever we have work together it is always so professional and yet so much fun!

I am one of the pro photographer Gina uses for her student on the portfolio day, every time I have been impressed by how good the students have done, Gina has always been very professional and friendly, I was even offered work in Cuba which I to this day regret could not go due to other work commitments.

She ruined my wedding day!
Gina did my civil and Sikh wedding.
After paying a deposit and agreeing a time for her to do do my mother's, sister's and my makeup, she then unilaterally made the time hours earlier. My sister's makeup did not last, nor did she pay any attention to what kind of look she wanted and she gave all three of us, the same hair.
On my actual wedding day-she had me in tears!
She arrived at 4am as agreed, and then sat and drank coffee for 40 mins. She left without completing my look and my family had to improvise.
During the wedding ceremony, she was sending me messages threatening not to do my change of outfit. She was also putting negative posts in social media at the same time.The make-up that she did do did not match my outfit and my hair was frizzy-awful. She was extremely rude.
Gina then proceeded to use my images in Instagram.
After the hours and planning that go into organizing a wedding-no bride should be treated the way she treated me

Amazing course, loved every bit of it! I love the passion Gina has towards make up and her positive attitude to students when teaching. She makes you feel very comfortable and encourages you to do the best you can. This was a very motivating and helpful experience and has boosted my confidence. It was lovely to meet and work with a great team of girls who were also taking the course. Gina has allowed me to express my creativity and boosted my confidence- she’s very friendly and talented in what she does. Every day was valuable and I was amazed at how much I improved by the end of it.

I’ve modelled for Gina a handful of times and absolutely love working with her !

From what I have seen Gina thoroughly explains everything in detail to her students and constantly pushes them to achieve the results the came to learn !

I’ve worked with Gina on many occasions. She’s professional and welcoming! I’d recommend her courses to anyone looking to excel in the industry, each day is fun and both Gina and her team’s warm personalities shine through everything they do.
I’m especially impressed with how no information is held back. Gina teaches ALL her tips and tricks and genuinely wants all her students to become a success.

£2000... is what this woman was going to charge me to turn me into a clown on my wedding day. She does not know how to apply makeup at all it’s actually shocking! I went with such high expectations that came crumbling down like a tonne of bricks. She is the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with in my life. I told her that the makeup was way too heavy for me and she argued back and told me that it has to be that way otherwise I will look washed out in my wedding photos, bearing in mind I’m mixed race, have good skin and a natural glow 24/7 and don’t really need much makeup at all. By the way, I said I wanted a natural look. She then told me not to take any pictures on my iPhone as they would ‘make me look bad’. In the emails they promised all the top branded makeup, and yet she was using things probably from Poundland, highlighters worth £4.99 that still had their price labels (hence why I know she’s using cheap stuff), dream matte mouse was the most shocking because everyone knows how blotchy that leaves you looking and for sure I was left extremely blotchy, which now I understand why she wanted my friends that had come with me as far from us as possible. She also used dirty brushes on my face, I could have died, but I’m too timid to say anything. They had promised 2 looks and a hairstyle... now I appreciate I was 20 mins late, so maybe she couldn’t do hair, but she spent so much time talking about herself and how ‘cardi b wanted to go shopping with her so badly’ that she only ended up doing 1 look, which looked AWFUL!!! I wish I could post up a picture just so you guys understand, I am not a ugly woman and she made me look horrendous! It’s an art she’s perfected. I messaged to ask for another trial and she refused and said that I have to pay another £150 if I want another one!!! They then continued to tell me that they don’t want to do my makeup because of the language I used... quote ‘Would it be possible to do another makeup trial? I wasn’t very happy with the way my makeup was done yesterday, and I’m terrified I end up looking really bad on my wedding day.’ without hesitation she blocked me on Instagram, although I hadn’t even contacted her directly and was dealing only with her assistant via email. Now tell me, if someone knows their makeup is worth £2000 why would they block you on Instagram if they weren’t scared of being exposed??... Anyway, they ended up being extremely rude over email for no reason and refused to give me back my £500 deposit.. they then said they’d refund £350 and only in 30 days. Behold 30 days later is why I’m writing my review, because they’re extremely unprofessional and I knew they wouldn’t give me back my money if I had written this sooner.
Since then she has tried to get my YouTube video removed because it shows the evidence of their unprofessionalism and terrible work done to my face and when that failed went as far as reporting me to the police for ‘harassment’, completely making up stories, saying I leaked her bank statements online with her address and that I’ve been sending threatening emails that she had to block me on Instagram twice. The police have since closed the case because she was quite clearly lying.
I cannot believe the extent she has been willing to go and the amount of people she has tried to silence by using ‘lawyers and police’ to intimidate them into not posting anything up about their experience with her.
As long as it is the truth, then speak your story and do not be scared.

When I attended the Gina Badhen academy I didn’t know what to expect, I ended up coming out of the 5 day pro course having a passion for makeup. Over the 5 days I learnt a number of versatile looks, all taught in a very professional manner.
Gina is extremely talented and teaches you to pay attention to detail, the looks Gina creates in the course are current and fresh you learn a number of great techniques helping to create a flawless finish.
After the course I was fortunate enough to assist Gina in a number of projects helping build my portfolio.
My experience has been great, I have learnt so much and is one of the best courses I done.

I attended 5 Day Pro Make Up Course in Birmingham & I absolutely loved it! I feel I have learnt so much about various make up styles from Gina. Course was for 5 days & it covered so much. It was intense but so educational.
Gina is very hard working & she is absolutely amazing, she creates some stunning, unique, flawless, eye catching looks! I have learnt in 5 days to do bridal, editorial, glam, we even had celebrity hair stylist on one of the days on the course who showed us how to do different hair styles, which was so beneficial. My Instagram page can certainly be proof of how much I have learnt & developed. We had a business day which was also very educational as I am using that knowledge for my business side of make up & my social media and it is certainly working for me.
On our portfolio day we even had professional models & professional photography which made this course even more exciting! Course was certainly a fantastic learning curve where I met some amazing people on the way. Girls on my course were all absolutely fabulous. Thank you Gina & you lovely team. Xxx
