The property team at Glaisyers acted for me in a rather complicated property purchase. I am myself a practicing lawyer - the worst type of client for another lawyer - but they kept me properly informed and advised, and empowered me with the information I needed to take the necessary decisions. The result: a glorious little cottage, and a very satisfied customer.

I am fortunate enough to have worked with one of the partners at Glaisyers in a previous life when he was a solicitor at another firm, so I knew the level of quality I was in for with him. The Mrs wanted someone i trusted given the poor service she experienced using a local firm when she purchased her flat.
To act for us in our flat sale and house purchase, he kindly introduced us to Tom Simson who is the Head of Residential and Kathryn O'Rourke who is a Solicitor within Toms team.
From day 1 of selling our flat to exchanging on our house they have been exceptional! quality advice and did a lot of legwork in chasing the relevant parties to get our transaction over the line & kept us calm and happy throughout.
Its always advised to find a quality firm and not make price the most important thing (luckily Glaisyers were very reasonable in terms of fees given the quality they bring to the table), you can always tell the difference, not right away but a cheap solicitors work will hit you later on!.
