I was anticipating having to write a negative review of Gledhill after my cylinder sprung a leak. At under 3 years old it was well within the warranty period but both my installer and their retailer had gone out of business, so I was left with nowhere to turn other than Gledhill themselves.

I was led to believe by the plumbers merchant that bought the retailer out of administration that Gledhill would not honour the warranty and not even collect the old cylinder for inspection.

However, I bought a replacement cylinder in good faith and also because it was a simple swap. I contacted Gledhill and Vern was very helpful and quick to reply to my query, they organised the collection quickly and said they would respond once the cylinder was inspected.

I did have to chase it up past the timeframe they stated it would be resolved in, but was pleased to hear that they had accepted my warranty claim and although the refund amount was less than I had paid for the cylinder and its replacement, at least I managed to get a reasonable amount back to help with the costs.

I just had a call out from Daniel Lee for my water heater that had been out of action for several days. Daniel provided excellent service and explained fully what he thought the problem was and the potential risks given the age of the heater. He was polite, efficient and helpful. Please convey my thanks.

Ed Millar has been on site here at Bygate Court the last 2 days carrying out Health checks in Homeowners Apartments. Ed has been polite, professional and on time each day. He worked well navigating his way round accommodating the many requests! Thanks Ed, see you next year.

Attention to customer satisfaction is paramount for Gledhill; can't criticise any component of my interactions with them.

I moved into a new apartment and found the hot water cylinder wasn't working. It's quite a complicated system that a lot of heating engineers wouldn't know about . I was left Gledhill's number by the previous owner and the came and fixed it straight away. I have now joined their annual service and call out contract and it's excellent value.

Fixed the problem. Only issue was not knowing when the engineers would appear.

The engineer was on time, helpful when I had a query about my hot water, and very clean and tidy and polite.

I rang up on a Sunday morning with an issue with my pulsa coil stainless, and they came out the next day and fixed it.

Turned up on time, explained in full what they did and always prompt in coming out whenever needed for any reason

Absolute 5 stars. Brilliant service from Paul. It’s not everyday I get to speak to someone who is so helpful , demonstrates good listening skills and who is knowledgeable in his area of expertise… I really can’t speak highly enough of Paul Mitchell. He was so helpful , provided prompt responses and identified the root cause of the issue today in a timely and efficient manner.

I own several properties and in addition run a hmo which can be stressful at times. I don’t believe I’ve received this level of care and understanding previously from any organisation and be given advice on how to resolve this issue.

The Gledhill engineer was courteous and respectful. His work was tidy and efficient. Communication with Gledhill was good and their programming of work included a text message to notify us of the expected arrival time.

Gledhill Response have always maintained, repaired & serviced my parent's Pulsacoil hot water cylinder and the plumbing & electrics under their Complete Care package. They have always been helpful, prompt and reliable, providing value for money. But as I'm now selling my parent's flat, Paul W in customer services has gone above and beyond in sending me a list of all the services & replacements over the past 5 years, even searching out the installation & service certificates. What a 'STAR' and so kind and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Exemplary Service for which I'm very grateful. A Big THANK YOU Paul

on the 17th march Aaron came to mend the boiler which was leaking. he worked for hours, renewing washers etc. Then he discovered there was still a leak underneath. This meant undoing the work he'd already done. Despite this, he did so, and after much patience and skill on his part, all the leaks were mended. I could not commend Aaron enough for his effort, skill, diligence and perseverance. He is a very valuable member of Gledhill workforce. Thankyou Aaron

No hot water from tank, Quick response, called ahead of visit, work completed, very tidy, fixed price and system now covered for 12 months...

Stuart came out to my mums flat to get the hot water working again - new boiler and pressure sorted - what a brilliant man - everyone approachable explained each thing as went along. Very good service and highly recommended
