Excellent customer service
Ordered a little cat cart for my granddaughter, which arrived promptly. Unfortunately the ink where her name had been printed had smeared down the side and wouldn’t come off. Contacted the company and they sent another (perfect) one within a few days. Nice product and excellent customer service - I will definitely be buying from them again.

Fantastic customer service
Fantastic customer service - I ordered a shelf for my baby's bedroom a few months ago, having had the same shelf in my toddler's bedroom for several years, and only realised after the returns window had passed that it didn't fit in their room. Customer services were so helpful and allowed me to return this item. I've made several orders from GLTC in the past and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Ordered the Wooden Walker Fox 07/07/2025 and still waiting for delivery. Paid £31.45 including delivery, the money was debited from my bank account the same day as the order, but unable to email them as it bounces back.

Ordered cube storage furniture and storage baskets on 23 June 2025 and still have not received the items.
I have emailed several times (to the correct email address) to find out where my order is and no one is responding. It makes no sense that there is no other way to contact the company, hence being forced to leave this review!

If not received by 25 July I will need to contact trading standards because I can’t even request a refund if you’re not picking up my emails.

Purchased a wooden ice-cream stand for…
Purchased a wooden ice-cream stand for my little girl, within a day the scoop had come apart. Another thing is that the ice creams have no way of staying on, so just fall off when playing with them. I would have thought it could have been either magnetic or velco’d. For the price, I’m not sure the quality is worth it.

Still waiting delivery of a cubed…
Updated review: Item has now arrived and is fab!
Initial review: Still waiting delivery of a cubed storage unit. The first tracking number I received showed no progress at all. I contacted GLTC and Sally has provided me a new tracking number. XDP are so incredibly SLOW. I am still hoping to receive the item but all XDP say is "we've got it" no estimated delivery date or anything.
This must be a reasonably new contract for GLTC using XDP because I've had a similar unit delivered in the past, not using XDP and there were no issues before. I have spent A LOT of money at GLTC but once this item is delivered (if it will be) I am not using them again. GLTC if you read this, you should escalate higher up the chain.

I contacted GLTC on the off chance they…
I contacted GLTC on the off chance they could help me with some spare hinges I needed after buying a wardrobe second hand or at least point me in the right direction of exactly what I was looking for.
Sally replied to my email only a couple of hours later when it says it can take up to 48 on the site- I was immediately impressed. Further to that Sally then went above and beyond to supply me with the parts I needed no issue for a small fee plus delivery. I am so so pleased with the service it’s incredible, especially as I brought second hand as well! Thanks so much Sally you are a credit to your company.
Further to that the furniture is absolutely superb quality- absolutely solid - the only reason I needed hinges was because they were damaged by the previous owner . I’m just so so pleased

Outstanding quality
Fell upon this website whilst looking for items to decorate my grand daughters room. There was no much choice I had to control myself as I would of ordered everything ! Chose my items and today all of the items were delivered. Firstly excellent packing, then some of the items needed assembling, however this was all very easy and the quality of everything was fabulous.
Great good quality items and all look amazing, I have recommended you to my daughter in law.

My order arrived promptly with good tracking. I had one item I no longer required that I returned. Although it wasn’t processed immediately, I contacted customer services who were on the case straight away and processed the refund the same day. Great service and I’m really pleased with our Alba modular units.

Terrible communication and service!
I ordered a storage container and baskets for my children's toys on the 3rd of July. I received an email on the 6th of July saying that my order would be with me in a few days, the money has been taken from my account but I still haven't received it! I've emailed GLT and haven't had any response. For such an expensive company as mentioned by other customers the communication and delivery service is terrible!

Delivery service is not good and no…
Delivery service is not good and no telephone number to contact anyone at GTLC. I asked to be told when delivery is happening / to arrange it but only got an email on the day of delivery and then got told the bed was delivered even though there was no one at the property and delivery included installation. All i have is an email address to follow this up with.

I wanted to reach out regarding your recent order and let you know that our customer service advisor has been working hard to keep in touch with you. I see that your bed hasn’t been delivered yet as suggested. This part of your order is a specialised delivery, it does require a booking with you in advance. No delivery will take place until it has been agreed with you. I can see our advisor has explained this process on multiple occasions.
I also noticed that you’re away until the end of the month, and that’s no problem at all! We’re more than happy to hold orders until customers are ready to receive them. Unfortunately, since we weren’t informed of your plans, part of your order was dispatched to our logistics partner, and they left some items at your property while you were away. We take full responsibility for ensuring that orders are not left unattended, especially for your elderly mother to deal with.
We’re currently looking into this situation to make sure we handle it better in the future. Thank you for your patience, and please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need further assistance!

Ordered the star bookcase
Ordered the star bookcase . Unfortunately the first one came damaged which wasn’t the fault of GLTC the box was damaged during delivery.
Contacted GLTC the same day of delivery and Sally (customer care manager) couldn’t have helped enough. I requested the bookcase to be delivered by a certain day and it was delivered on time .
Sally kept me up to date with everything and she was amazing.
The new one arrived all good and it looks great in my little girls bedroom!

Still awaiting delivery - AVOID!!
Order placed 24th June for a large furniture order - spent over £1000 to be left with a 4 year old with a new bed without a mattress!
The courier (XDP) is horrendous, still awaiting delivery of remaining items and mattress with zero update from GLTC or XDP on when my items will arrive. I get a 'pre-delivery' alert, to then receive another email a few hours later stating that they are unable to deliver today! GLTC can't even tell me when the items will be delivered either!
AVOID this company - after spending so much money, the service received is unacceptable and has left us out of pocket with items still missing and a half built bed!!

We completely understand how upsetting it must be to have spent a significant amount on a large furniture order, only to be left with missing items and no clear delivery updates—especially when it involves your child’s bed. This is far from the experience we want any of our customers to have.
We’re currently working closely with our courier partner, to resolve these delivery issues and improve communication. That said, I can see delivery has now been made to you on the 8th of June and in 10 working days from the date of ordering however, we are sincerely sorry for the lack of clarity and delays.

Would have been nice if the order was…
Would have been nice if the order was delivered. Placed the order on 26th June. Chased customer service as not seeing order being dispatched on 1st July. Finally got notified order is dispatched but they use XDP - a company I have never heard of before and if you look it up, there are a lot of horror stories around this 'worst courier in the country'. Today is 4th July - still no updates since XDP claimed 'they've got it' on the delivery status update on 2nd July. I now have a very disappointed soon-to-be 3 year old who won't get her teepee set up for her birthday. Really wish I'd shopped elsewhere for the teepee as I bought a Plan B present off a retailer website on 2nd July and that toy is currently sitting next to me on 3rd July.

Update 2 on The Farm
Second update:
Delighted to say GLTA reached out and apologised for the delay in responding and are sending me a replacement farm.
So pleased to have faith in this company restored as I love their products.

Update on The farm: Tworoof pieces for the farm started coming apart and a part of the handle broke off after 2 weeks, so it’s not safe for grandbabe to play with it.
I emailed customer services and haven’t received any response in a week.
This is very disappointing.

Nice product but not functional for toddler sized books
The product was delivered on time and the quality is good. The book case however is too deep for most of my toddler’s books, so that they disappear and it’s impossible for him to find and pull them out. The ‘shelves’ need to be shallower unless you have only very big books.

Super customer service and so happy with our product
We have recently bought a storage shelf unit and we’re so happy with it! Initially when it was delivered, there was some damage to one of the panels, however after emailing them they sent a new one out quickly and it’s perfect. The customer service from Danielle was superb and she was so helpful! The quality of the item is great and it looks exactly as expected from the images on the website! Would highly recommend this company and I’m sure I’ll be using them again in the future!
