It was a very fine experience with great food. I rated it 4 star instead of 5 because I didn't like the noise level in the dining room. It always was too loud for conversation without raising one's voice.

The Gohagan staff of four tour directors kept all activities well organized and were with us constantly.
Also the all inclusive tour made life very simple.

This was my first Gohagan trip. The boat was excellent. The staff was even better. The food was also excellent. I have a few recommendations. The two speakers were mediocre particularly the young lady., who really did not speak on the advertised topic but instead was simply talking about Woke activism. I think you could do better. Given the age of the participants, I think a military history professor would have been received better and perhaps a speaker on more current events. Next, I often felt that the tours were too rushed although my group often used the free time to stay in the location and sight see. I particularly felt that the Basel tour was far too limited. A great city but we basically simply walked by the Cathedral and rushed to lunch and back. Several of the other stops were very good. Finally, the canal tour of Amsterdam was a waste of time. Very hot, very uninformed. Amsterdam is a great city but simply docketing and riding in a hot flat boat around the canals was not a great experience. I would recommend your company but I would study the agenda more before committing.

Excellent trip , well layed out

From the Planning to the Departure all components were First Class. Gohagan Staff, Facilities (Hotel and Aboard Ship), hotel and ships staff and crew were great, always concerned about us the guess. The Food was great, and Tours were informative, (maybe too fast paced sometimes too fast to enjoy the sites) we were not speedy, would have like to stroll more.

We had a wonderful time staff was amazing very clean well run and organized. Would do it again and highly recommend

The cruise was first class. The staff was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. The food and drinks were excellent, the service was unbelievably good. The tours worked like clockwork, coordinating the number of people is like herding cats, but the staff pulled it off.

The boat was small, the service staff was exceptional

Staff on site were GREAT. Staff in Chicago were ok at best, especially the air travel.

I have used other travel agencies in the past but Gohagan stands out as one of the best. The staff was always helpful and the trip was planned out perfectly with top of the line amenities.

The problem with these surveys is that it is always more than a simple number evaluation

There are two parts to every trip, the setup for the trip and the execution on the trip. I would give 7 stars to the execution on this trip if possible. Anthony the Gohagan leader and Tamara one of the cruise directors were absolutely superb. We have gone on 5 National Trust/Gohagan trips and the execution teams on every trip (with Anthony on at least 3) have been efficient, warm, communicative and fun on every trip by communicating and assisting us so that we know that each trip has been special. I wish I could say the same for the setup side. In setup for the trip from home we had to deliver day trip choices 3 times by email and twice by phone and they still left us off the key day trip (the one that was a main reason for booking the trip.)! The office staff also lost our flight information and we had to send it multiple times. Each time we got "the email was corrupted" when we talked with them on the phone. So, when you book make sure that you are prepared to work hard to make sure your trip setup is properly completed. If you do and make it to the Gohagan execution team on the trip you will have a great time and special experience!

Extremely competent and professional! We have had wonderful experiences with Gohagan on several trips!

They made our trip completely hassle free when no worries. Everyone with Gohagan truly made our trip a wonderful experience.

Miscommunication from the beginning. ‘A number of people on this trip had the same experience. Ms. Le Mai (sp?) told many of us she had not received emails and denied the outcome of phone calls resulting in screwed up reservations and being signed up for excursions other than those chosen. It seemed to all of us that you are understaffed and poorly trained. The onsite directors were fine, trying to resolve all the issues especially Tamara who was outstanding.

Great tour staff.

Gohagan staff was great. Accommodations on World Traveller were quite good with above average breakfast and lunches. Dinner was average. Visit to Salerno was too short. Pre-trip to Rome should have included the Colliseum or, at a minimum, options at an additional cost.
