WARNING: Read the FINE PRINT

WARNING: Do yourself a favor before placing an order with Golf Locker and read every page of their website. Pay close attention to verbiage as it relates to returns. Should you find yourself needing to return your merchandise please know the following will take place.

A) The amount you paid for shipping will NOT be refunded to you.

B) You will have to pay out of pocket to return the merchandise to Golf Locker.

C) However, they are generous enough to provide you with a shipping label to return your merchandise BUT the amount for shipping will be deducted from your refund (in addition to the original amount you paid for shipping).

Personally, this does not work for me.

In response, the shoes that I ordered were a special release so this competitive pricing you speak of is non existent. Yes, you do offer a shipping label at a "additional" cost. The other stores that I do business with go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. Your store should look up the definition of customer service.

When given an opportunity to make this situation right you chose to stand firm in your companies policy over $9.95. I would rather give these shoes to a homeless person and never do business with you again than pay you an additional $9.95.

If this is my first experience in doing business with your store, why on earth would I consider becoming a "My Golf Locker" patron???

I disagree that there's nothing to "make right".

I will take the blame for not sending the link to your return policy to my attorney for review and counsel. I was completely unaware that my paying for expedited shipping would forfeit my ability to make a return without coming out of pocket for the shipping label. While i don't expect you to refund me for priority shipping to me I definitely feel that I should not be expected to pay for the return.

The shoes you ordered included free shipping. You chose an expedited shipping method that incurred an extra cost. It appears you left out that information in your review. That was your choice to pay for shipping to you. You could have had the shoes shipped to you for free.

For regular website orders, as our return policy clearly states, we do not provide free return shipping. Since our returns rate is so low, we opt to provide the best prices possible on our items rather than offer free return shipping. As you noted, we do provide return labels when requested in order to save you time and cost on returns for website orders.

If you are a My Golf Locker Patron, your return shipping is always free. You might want to consider that service in the future.

In reply to your review update, there is nothing for us to "make right". It was your choice to pay for an expedited shipping method. You could have just as easily chosen the free shipping method for the shoes. Again, we do not provide refunds for shipping when a customer chooses an expedited shipping method and simply wants to return an item.

Excellent customer service is paramount to us. However, we don't refund expedited shipping fees when the method is chosen by the customer. Sorry you don't agree with that policy, but to pay for shipping was your choice, as the item includes free shipping, as most items on our site do as well. This has nothing to do with customer service. This is the choice that you made when ordering the shoes.

My husband needed custom embroidered work shirts. I went into the store and was able to order and receive the shirts same day!!! The customer service was 5 star as well!!

Great range and service

We’ve shop here because of the great range of apparel and current styles available. I’ve always experienced good customer service and have been pleased to find unique items for gifts for the golfers in my family. The sportswear is top quality and I’ll definitely shop here again soon!

Return policy

Ordered shoes, gloves and a golf bag, (well over $300 order) the pockets on the bag did not work for me and my wife bought me a different bag for my birthday so I wanted to return the bag. Unlike MOST online vendors, at the minimum, they provide return shipping labels and even if they are charging you for the shipping it's at least at their "volume" discount rate. It was going to cost me over $50 to return the bag. I even called and asked about an exchange and same answer.
Not worth the risk to buy anything from them, if anything is wrong It'll cost you more to return it than any discount you may have received up front.
Terrible customer service in my opinion. Last purchase for me! (and I know your return policy is on the site, still terrible customer service in my opinion)

Dave, thank you for shopping with us. As you point out, our return policy is very clear on our website. We opt for lower prices and free outbound shipping on the bag you purchased, than to charge more for the bag to cover return shipping costs. Most folks don't return bags, so in the interest of all of our customers, it is simply more valuable for our customers to have a lower price and free outbound shipping. As I'm sure you're aware, shipping is never free for anyone. So if we offered free return shipping on a large item such as a golf bag, everyone that buys that golf bag would have to pay more. We pride ourselves on great customer service and stand by that promise. Because we don't pay for return shipping on a golf bag doesn't imply we have bad customer service. Once again, thank you for shopping with us, and we're sorry it didn't work out.

"My golf locker" member review

We are out of state "my golf locker" members and have gotten such personalized service and top notch products. So far all of our returns have been handled quickly with no return shipping. Every person that we have interacted with has ben patient and quick to help. Anyone with a competitive golfer in the family, or simply someone too busy to shop but wants the latest stuff, should consider the "my golf locker" service. They ship to you in the intervals you choose, offer an added discount by being a "member" , give free shipping both ways and choose great items for you based on your preferences. We live within 15 minutes of PGA tour and Golfsmith stores, but chose to try this because of convenience. We are very pleased after only one shipment, and can't wait for the next.

Horrible return policy

got wrong size shoe and return within couple of days. I had to pay $10 for shipping the shoe back and when I saw my refund they too out another $8.95 for the shipping to me. $18.95 just down the drain! I would never ever buy anything from this company again. I was not getting any better deal for this shoe at the first place. I should have bought this shoe from more trustworthy company like Golfsmith, Dicks sporting goods or Amazon. Major mistake on my part 😡

A very small percentage of our customers opt to return shoes without exchanging them for the proper size, so our policy is to provide better pricing where we are permitted by our vendors. If you would have exchanged the shoes for the proper size, there is no return shipping fee. Please keep that in mind for future purchases online. Thanks again for your feedback. Disappointed in Golf Locker

I'll start by saying that, like many say, typically write reviews good or bad on my experiences and or purchases but this experience sure did change that - On Feb 8th i made an online purchase from Golf Locker at 9:52pm on GolfLocker.com. Purchase was item #13s77802 - Oakley Carbon Pro Golf Shoes black size 9 - IN STOCK. I made the purchase, paid via paypal and began the wait for my new shoes. Not so fast - I received an email from Golf Locker on Monday thanking me for my recent order BUT "that during the shipping process we noticed Oakley sent us size 11 shoes inside of my size 9 Oakley Carbon Pro shoe box - we are unable to fulfil your order" - REALLY!! I'm to believe that GL does not check their inventory scanning IN/OUT of all items? And that it happened to be Oakley's fault and not GOLF LOCKER. If this is true then the Golf Locker has more issues than my size 9 shoe. Quality Control?? WOW. This should be a major concern for just not GL but for all Golf Locker CUSTOMERS in the future. I'm not writing because i want something free or in addition to - i want WHAT I PURCHASED and PAID FOR - my golf shoes! I've purchased from GL before, without incident but i don't know if i would purchase again - i think you should read this post and decide if YOU should purchase from this group based upon this experience - This is a first and i'm very disappointed in GOLF LOCKER. eddie

Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience with Golf Locker. I can understand your frustration, and I apologize you had this experience. From our standpoint, we think we did a good service by checking your merchandise before we sent it to you and before you were charged for the item. Imagine how frustrated you would have been had you received the shoes, and they were the wrong size.

Throughout the life cycle of a product, there are many humans that are involved in the fulfillment and packaging process. And humans make errors sometimes. This is why we check each product before we package it for its final journey to our customers.

There are a multitude of chances for items to get mixed up in their boxes - either from the manufacturer or on our retail showroom floor. You mention that you want what you purchased and paid for, however, you know we didn't charge you for the shoes, obviously, because we never shipped you anything.

We will continue to process our shipments as we've done for the past 16 years for online purchases, and that is to check the product for accuracy once again in its final stage of shipping to our customers. This is the only way to catch any human error that has occurred during the life cycle of the product packaging.

Again, I apologize that you had this experience, but from our standpoint, human errors happen on occasion, and we were diligent to catch this error before we shipped and charged you for the incorrectly packaged item. We would want the same service for our online purchases.

Terrible return policy

I was refused a return because the manger disliked my attitude, even though all other parameters were met. Will be filing a better business bureau complaint. Just hope this does not happen to others. I would advise to take your business elsewhere.

Anna, thanks for taking the time to construct your review. As our return policy states, items have to be returned in the same condition in which they were bought and not show signs of any wear. When you tried to return the pants with cat hair all over them, we simply can't accept a return in that condition. In the future, shouting F-bombs at our store manager won't help with us bending the rules. Have a great day.

Cheaters!

Don´t buy at this company!
I bought a couple of shoes, and the same day they asked of my photo ID and a copy of my recent credit card statement.
It´s clearly a company who tries to get your money and not to sell you some golf items.

We asked you to verify your credit card information since you are out of the United States, and your credit card company will not verify your identity to us. We do this to protect our customers from online credit card fraud. We think this is a good thing. We did not 'get your money and not to sell you some golf items.' We didn't process your order because we couldn't verify that you are actually the credit card owner. We don't have your money.

Poor after sale customer services. Would not honor the return, and charged shipping doubly for exchange items. Bad and inconsiderate representative.
Will not shop again, and will warn others not to shop again!!!!

This is simply not true. We honor EVERY return within 60 days when the item is returned in new condition. Our return policy is posted on every page of our website, and is very simple to boot! Great customer service is paramount with us, as we know that you can shop elsewhere. That is why we have hundreds of thousands of elated, not just satisfied, customers, and have been online since 1999. Poor customer service just doesn't happen with us.
