Great service today from AMELIE - really helpful is advising on replacement walking boots Genuinely a really good example of great customer service.

Went in to get my son a fishing rod and Tom was so helpful. We had no idea what we needed and would have really struggled without him. He took his time to show us the best options for my boy and then helped us find all the additional bits we would need to get started. Would have been lost without him.

Staff are polite, friendly and helpful. Get good deals with members card.

Fantastic service from our local GO Outdoors branch. After a very frustrating experience trying to resolve an issue with our faulty Berghaus Air tent, Ellie was absolutely brilliant.

She listened, understood the situation and resolved everything quickly and professionally, and without any further hassle.

Came in on Sunday to replace my walking boots. Umar was super helpful and really knowledgeable about the products. Listened to exactly what I was after & made some great suggestions at several price points without being pushy.
Definitely a positive shopping experience for a product you could spend hours walking in & need to get right. Came away with a new pair of boots after great customer service, thanks Umar.

I went to get a waterproof jacket. Jess assisted me as I wanted to try jackets that were locked together.
Jess was so helpful and I bought a Berghaus jacket.

Shaun: mans a legend. Loves walking himself and very friendly and helpful in recommending to me some new decent walking shoes and socks.

Went to the Banbury store with a broken tent pole and Shaun was incredibly helpful, he found the replacement parts and repaired it for us there and then in the store! Pleased to report the tent is surviving the Bank Holiday weather ☺️

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic Advice & Service From Shawn

We’ve recently started visiting GO Outdoors more often as our 14-year-old son has taken a real interest in fishing. Being new to it ourselves, there’s quite a lot to learn and it can be a little overwhelming knowing what equipment you actually need.

Shawn has been absolutely brilliant every time we’ve spoken to him. His knowledge of fishing is excellent and he has a really friendly, down-to-earth way of explaining things without making you feel silly for not knowing. He listens to what you need, gives honest advice and genuinely seems to care about making sure you leave with the right equipment rather than simply trying to sell you something.

The fishing department itself has a great selection, but for us it's the level of service that has really stood out. Shawn has taken the time to talk us through different options and has made choosing equipment so much easier and far more enjoyable.

It's lovely to come across someone who clearly has a passion for what they do and is happy to share their knowledge. Our son is really enjoying getting into fishing, and having someone like Shawn available to offer advice has made a huge difference as we find our feet with his new hobby.

My 14-year-old son has recently developed an interest in fishing, and as complete beginners, we weren't really sure where to start. GO Outdoors has a fantastic, well-stocked range of fishing equipment, but what really made our experience great was the outstanding customer service we received from Shawn.

From the moment we arrived, Shawn was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the different equipment to us, answered all of our questions and helped us choose the right products for someone just starting out. There was no pressure to buy unnecessary or expensive equipment — his advice was honest, practical and genuinely helpful.

He has made the whole experience of getting started with fishing really interesting and enjoyable for both my son and me. I've actually learned a lot from speaking with him too!

We've now been helped by Shawn on more than one occasion, and each time his customer service has been exceptional. It's clear that he really knows his stuff and enjoys helping customers.

GO Outdoors has a brilliant selection for fishing, but having knowledgeable, approachable staff like Shawn makes such a difference, especially when you're new to something.

The salesperson in the footwear dept., Olivia, in the Banbury Store, was very helpful and I got the type of walking shoe I was looking for with the minimum of fuss.

I had a great experience at go outdoors today, i was shopping for some hiking gear and the staff member Shaun was really knowledgeable and was able to direct me to exactly what i needed.

Shaun offered the highest quality service and offered his personal opinion on products which he had experimented with. A wealth of information which was incredibly valuable.
Looking forward to the help ill receive when looking for more products.

I rang up a few weeks ago enquiring about a kayak and Jess answered the phone, she was so helpful and when I went into the store I saw Shaun and he was equally as helpful and helped me to the till with the kayak and met Jess at the till. Both of these staff members were really courteous and went above and beyond to help me both on the phone and in the store.
