Great service and competitive price. Staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. Store layout and displays make it easy to find what you want. My first choice for hiking gear.

Got a decent pair of walking shoes - more-or-less exactly what I had been looking for.

Reserved an item online the night before. Popped into the store today and was served immediately. Emma N was great. Checked to see if my discount card was valid and then let me know how long I had left on it. Love the bag I have bought to take on holiday with me. Lovely neat store.

Great Customer Care
The staff here are always helpful without being too pushy. I knew exactly what I wanted and was offered help if I needed any. Eric was there if I needed and served me when I was ready. He chatted pleasantly with me and made me feel I had his full attention. A massive change from a lot of stores where staff don’t even make eye contact.

Popped into the store as I wondered whether my Go Outdoors card was still valid.
Eddie served me and said that it was time to renew, no problem (you get good discounts off everything in the store and online).
Eddie asked me if there was a reason I was renewing the card and I mentioned I wanted to purchase a trolley online.
"Is it the trolley with the big red wheels?" he asked. I confirmed it was "We have one upstairs, in stock - I'll nip and get it for you".
