GO Outdoors - Penrith Opiniões

Bbq purchase today, the assistant at Penrith was amazing, super friendly and helpful and even carried it out of the store to our car...Sorry we didn't catch your name. But you'll kniw who you are when our pies didn't get squashed...Many Thanks

Had a fabulous experience with Jake who helped and advised us on the right tent for us. We had gone camping and stupidly left our tent poles at home. Option 1. Go home and get them. About a 4 hour round trip or option 2 , purchase a new tent. We were only away for the weekend so we didn’t want to waste time travelling. Plus cars were full and we had hungry children and excitable dogs and two cars and to cap it off, it was now raining. So option 2 . We wanted as cheap and cheerful as possible and that’s where Jake came in. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer, sympathetic and understanding young man. And one of the children with us was called JAKE. what a lovely omen. Well done and thank you Jake.

I had a great experience at Go Outdoors. I was assisted by Michelle who helped me find just what I was looking for, and was able to provide me with great tips.

I bought some new walking boots from here. I was served by Tony who was super helpful - really thorough and had great recommendations for me! Thanks Tony!

An absolutely 1st class service provided by Michelle in the footware department. Expert advice, not pushy at all, and nothing was too much trouble. Clearly, the management provide excellent direction as nothing was left out at all.

I'm giving this 5 stars, because I cannot give 6. Well recommended, well done all!

Class shop,really good

Tony helped us with some walking boots for our 8 year old. He was really helpful, knowledgeable and they are a great fit. Brilliant 🤩

Little shout to Tony on the shoes department. Welcoming of my German Shepard pooch, very helpful in finding correct walking boots for my daughter great guy!

Tony was very helpful and friendly. Provided good advice. Ta.

Went to have a look at some new walking boots and dealt with Michelle she was so helpful and had alot of patience and time. This is the 2nd time I have dealt with Michelle and both times shes been really helpful she's a credit to the store

I went to this store under the recommendation of a friend with a view to purchasing a pair of hiking shoes.
I was assisted by Ben & Michelle, who were most helpful, polite and very professional, providing me with excellent advice.
Although I didn’t make a purchase, I would be more than happy to return to this store to make future purchases.

Michelle was very helpful and helped me find the perfect pair sandals . Nothing was too much trouble for her and she made sure they were the perfect fit .

Went to Penrith Store to get daughter some walking shoes and socks. Assisted by Michelle who was friendly and knowledgeable and made several suggestions.

Michelle was such great help yesterday, she gave me a lot of advice which made my choice for a stability shoe easy. She is so brilliant at what she does.

We visited go outdoors for a new pair of hiking boots and were warmly welcomed by Michelle straight away!
She helped us find the perfect pair of boots, made sure they fitted right and gave us some very useful advice on how to keep them in great condition :)

Had my Bike serviced here by Phillip, nowadays I find it’s hard putting trust into big companies to get a proper job done, but here I had no doubt.
Phillip was very clear and professional with his explanation in what was involved in the services offered. I received updates along the way and told clearly the costs of parts before they were ordered/fitted. I could tell it isn’t just a job for him.
My bike is like new again, can’t wait to get out on it. Thankyou

Terrible staff training at the Penrith branch - was not informed at time of purchase that items such as Campingaz Canisters and Swimwear are not returnable under the 28 day return policy for unused resaleable goods.
Duty Manager Zara was most unempathetic towards RIGID Company Policy on such returns, merely stating that although it clearly states on the reverse of the till receipt that ALL unused items are eligible for a refund within 28 days, with no mention of the non-returnable items - Zara stated that l should have checked on the companies website for full terms & conditions.
If the Penrith till assistant 9 had stated BEFORE l paid for the goods in question that they were non returnable, then l would have been adequately informed and would not have completed the purchase of said items.
Duty Manager Zara suggested l 'phone Go Outdoors Customer Service on 03300081555 if I was unhappy with the way l had been treated instore at the Penrith Branch, l spoke to a gentleman called Usman how was at first sympathetic of my plight, then upon returning from an internal call to Zara, switched a full 180° and refused to offer any further support, other than to robotically state the official Company Terms and Conditions regarding refunds.
I believe my unfortunate experience with the Penrith Branch of Go Outdoors could have been totally avoided if the staff there had adequate training as to stating the non refundable items at POS and or these items where printed on the till receipt as Non Refundable.
All in all, a very unsatisfactory and unhappy transaction at Penrith Go Outdoors.
I hope this review is of help to other unsuspecting future customers of Go Outdoors nationally.
Thanks for reading and may l respectfully suggest Decathlon or even eBay if you require any outdoor equipment.

Michelle was brilliant. It’s the third or fourth time she’s helped us and always great advice, no pressure and a bit of a laugh along the way,
