Excellent Customer Service
I visited Go Outdoors looking for help with my Eurohike collapsable trolley and, despite not purchasing anything, I received outstanding customer service.
A special thank you to Paige, Jay E and Jay A, who went above and beyond to help me. They took the time to coach me through how to properly repack and organise my trolley. Nothing felt rushed, and they were patient, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable throughout.
It's rare to find staff who are so willing to help when there's no sale involved, and their professionalism and kindness really stood out. Thanks again to Paige, Jay E and Jay A for such excellent service. They are a real credit to the Go Outdoors team.

Went in to purchase cover for an outside event. Matt in the tent department guided us through the gazebo options with knowledge and attention. Bought all we needed at realistic price. First use yesterday - all worked exactly as described.

Very good service
We had Megan serve us at the counter for our purchase and we highlighted a defect with a pair of trainers we were intending to buy. She was very helpful and polite and got a manager over straight away to try and arrange a discount on the product for us.
Very good service and a pleasant timely interaction.

Jess was absolutely amazing, helped me go through about 7 different pairs of shoes and was incredibly patient with my indecisiveness.

Plymouth Store - thank you for your help
Plymouth store- had a really bad experience with the parking company unfairly charging us while parking in the Go Outdoors car park - after raising this with the Plymouth store the manager bent over backwards to help us and get the fine refunded - thank you! Will be returning to this store as the staff and service are great.

Lack of Communication Regarding Delivery
My goods had been with the shop for 7 days and at no stage did I receive an e-mail informing me that the order was ready for collection. It wasnt until I phoned to find out the status of the order that I was informed they were ready for collection. Disappointing.

Served by Camille. She was lovely and very helpful. She helped me with everything I needed to find the SIM I was looking for, then helped me find the shoes I wanted and gave me a handy tip on what socks to get to compliment my boots when I go hiking. Very happy.

Had to chase down order made camping more stressful than it needs to be
Expected delivery date came and went. Called customer service twice who assured me the products would be available to collect in time for camping trip, the next day after it was due to arrive in store 4 days later than on the order. No order updates came by text or email. Went into store anyway part of the order had gone missing, took ages to find the rest. One single mattress arrived one didn't. Refunded to buy a double instead, took my details and said they would refund for the other when it came into store, still no refund. Pretty shoddy service

We apologise that your expected collection date was missed and that you did not receive the order updates you should have received. We also understand how frustrating it must have been to arrive at the store and find that part of your order was missing, particularly when you were relying on the items for an upcoming trip.
Having reviewed the order, our records show that a refund has been processed for the item that did not arrive. However, as we are unsure which refund may still be outstanding based on the information available to us, we have contacted you by email to obtain further details so that we can investigate this for you.

Suzanne in the Plymouth store went above and beyond to find specific products for me that were out of stock everywhere near where I live. Upon pick up from a family member she then hunted around for additional products that I had not called ahead about. Nothing was too much trouble. Great service. Thank you.

I bought some trainers today and was helped by Beth. She was great and I was well informed by her knowledge, she was serving four people at once and was still attentive. Great customer service by Matt, who helped us to find the Sticky Baits Krill Active Boilies. Not only did he show us to where they were, but he also had some great advice being a carp angler himself. Seemed right at home in the fishing department, thanks!
