He was very kind and patient while I chose jackets for my grandson while also on a 3 way phone call to my daughter.

Helpful, well laid-out store with competitive prices - good in a last minute emergency! Stacey was very helpful and reassured me on what I was purchasing was adequate for my needs.

Today I was served by a lady called Stacey. This lady needs recognition and rewarding. I needed a coat for our 6 year old son. The coat needs to be of a certain style and fit for our son and explained the reasons why to Stacey. At this point Stacey personally acknowledged that she totally understands as this is something very close to herself. She went on to give me some great advice and understanding of our situation which I cannot tell you how grateful we are for her doing that as she certainly didn't have to.
She explained the benefits of the coat and based on all of the above we bought it. You are a credit to your company Stacey and should be very proud of yourself. Thanks again for your help and understanding it means alot.

Received a warm greeting from all the staff and Stacey was very helpful. Bought several boot bags at a great price and will definitely shop there again. Obtained a Membership Card which is well worth the £5 Annual Fee as the discounts it gives are substantial.

St Helen's shop served by Megan. All Staff in shop always very professional, friendly and helpful. Today bought a spare pair of waterproof boots, Peter Storm boots the only properly waterproof boots I've ever had.
Staff always give good advice about purchases, not pushy just great customer care. Great shop

Always good to go in and see the good value deals that are available. I popped in 4 weeks ago and noticed Peter Storm walking shoes available at a value for money price ! My size was available so I bought them. I was well looked after by the staff , particularly Stacey .

I came into the store last week looking for a new coat that my mum is going to get me for Christmas. Stacey the girl who served me was so helped, I was feeling awful as nothing fit me and she honestly made me feel so comfortable and welcome in the store. We decided on a coat that my mum is coming in for this week and I couldn’t have done it without her. I must have been a nightmare of a customer as I had her looking with me for atleast 20 minutes for something that. Felt happy in. She gave me a feedback slip at the end of my visit which even had a lovely little message she wrote on saying “hope you have a lovely day” which is a real personal touch many people don’t do. Thank you Stacey, I’ll most certainly be coming back soon. Merry Christmas all.

Had a fantastic experience in store the other day. First time shopping here and I was a little unsure of what I was looking for. But the wonderful woman I was served by (I think her name was Stacey) was incredibly helpful and made shopping there an easy experience. I’ll definitely be coming back! Thank you

Went into store to get my boyfriend a gift. I was warmly welcomed by big smiles and good morning greetings. A young man called Peter ask could he help with anything? of course I chewed his ear off and asked his advice on equipment that my boyfriend needed ( cooking stove compact for solo use and a camping mat again compact but had to self inflate)
He was so patient, as I only know little of the brands and equipment.

His knowledge was great, he literally got every inflatable mat out just to show me how they inflate/ delate, the sizes and the brands, he said its more about preference. He was marvellous nothing was to much!
I continued to look around and came across the jetboil compact stove and the oex.. but other than the brand I haven't a clue what's what. He advised again its preference but if my boyfriend is looking for more compact I am better with the oex, he shown me how it was to set up and how it would be used, which was brilliant because I think I could even do it! I called my boyfriend to see what he would prefer and he said for compact reasons and the piezo ignition as well as the advise that Peter gave we would go with the oex.
He asked was there anything else he could help with which I found lovely because I've asked him about 100 questions.
Overall fantastic customer service, I would normally go to the bigger stores in Wigan or Warrington, but due to his knowledge understanding and overall customer service I will most definitely return. Thank you again Peter.

Excellent experience here yesterday. I went in for a particular pair of walking pants, and Peter asked me if i needed help. I initially declined as I like to browse myself. I looked through all the pairs of pants in stock, and was disappointed to find my size was not available. I mentioned this to Peter and he offered to help again. He looked on a different rack and found the pair I wanted. Fantastic. I was thoroughly expecting to leave the store disappointed, but Peter turned it around. I'm very happy to get my pants and I bought some socks too as a bonus. I have to say that Peter is a real credit to the store.

Great experience yesterday. Was served by Peter - excellent, polite, friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely wanted to give the best advice. Sorted me out with a very good pair of Peter Storm water-proof walking boots, and at a very reasonable price £45 knocked down from £100 with membership card - which costs £5. Walked 10 miles today - no problem. Really chuffed. Thanks Peter :-)

Very helpful polite staff, even checked upstairs to see if they had my fleece indifferent colours.

Stacey and Craig were so respectful when I went in today to treat myself to a new coat they were so friendly and very helpful, thank you guys!!

The young man Peter and the young lady working there were welcoming helpful friendly and polite was patient y I asked?? And give good feedback to me I popped in last week for a pair of pants witch I needed to exchange for a bigger size the day after they remembered me and made feel like i just popped to the local shop

I was served by Craig, he was pleasant and very helpful. He explained the benefits of becoming a member of Go Outdoors, he saved me over £100.00 today.
I left the store very happy with my purchase.
