Ticket issue

I originally purchased 2 standard tickets and due 2 more people attending i purchased 4 balcony tickets, after contacting GOTOBEAT via email to explain the situation they issued a refund for the standard ticket without any problems. 5* service

Brilliant customer service

Brilliant customer service. Having bought tickets to an event, I managed to lock myself out of my email account, which meant I couldn't access the tickets I had been sent. I contacted the customer services through email and after checking their records, Bernadette found my tickets that had actually been sent sent to my Gmail account and not my locked out of one and resent the tickets...panic over, much appreciated.

excellent atmosphere

Very easily bought tickets multiple times through gotobeat. Though one concert got initially postponed, i was presented with multiple options and got reminded when the concert got rescheduled. The venues I have discovered through Gotobeat have always been surprising with an intimate atmosphere, and you can tell fellow attendees are always fans of the artist they are seeing so the concerts are always exciting ^_^

Extremely poor communication and unreliable service

I ordered tickets to an event through Gotobeat, and even on the day of the event there was no information that it had been cancelled. I only found out by checking directly with the singer, not from the company. I contacted Gotobeat by email, which is the only contact option they provide (there is no phone number), asking both whether the event was cancelled and how to obtain a refund. They never replied to any of my messages.
Fortunately, I managed to get my money back through my bank, but this experience shows a complete lack of professionalism and customer care. There was no communication, no updates, and no response at all.. yet they are happy to take people’s money. I do not trust this company and would strongly advise others to be very careful before buying tickets through them.

Thank you for your review. We’re sorry that your experience felt frustrating — we fully understand how disappointing it can be when an event is cancelled.

We genuinely care about our customers and take communication and refunds very seriously, so we’d like to clarify a few important points:

When an event is cancelled, all refunds are processed automatically, with 100% of ticket holders refunded. No action is required from customers — this is a standard procedure on our platform.

We have carefully checked our systems and ticketing records, and we cannot find your name or email associated with any tickets for the event in question. For this reason, we are unsure whether your review refers to an event actually produced or ticketed by Gotobeat.

We have also reviewed our inboxes and support channels and found no record of messages from your email address. This suggests that your enquiry may not have reached us, but it was not ignored.

Once a cancellation is officially confirmed by the artist’s team, we notify all registered ticket holders by email and update our official channels. Unfortunately, cancellations are sometimes communicated late by artists or their teams, which can impact timing — but we act immediately once confirmation is received.

We are, of course, happy to investigate this properly. If you contact us at hello@gotobeat.com
with your order details (event name and booking reference), we will review the case in full and clarify the situation.

No communication and a wasted trip

I bought tickets for the Alex Velea & Antonia event through Gotobeat, and the entire experience was disappointing. When I arrived, the event was cancelled — and there was zero communication beforehand. No email, no text, nothing.

It’s extremely unprofessional to leave customers in the dark like that. I travelled there, made plans around it, and only discovered the cancellation at the door.

I’ve asked for a full refund, but honestly, this whole situation makes me question using Gotobeat again. Reliable communication should be the bare minimum.

We did contact all ticket holders directly via email as soon as the cancellation was confirmed. We also posted on all Gotobeat channels unfortunately we have limited ways to contact customers and on this occasion unfortunately the artist did not communicate the cancellation directly to their fans.
