We had a great holiday to Rhodes. Everything was online and mostly very easy to do. I had one query and I called and was given very good answers so I would definitely use this company again. Thank you!

I have booked 2 holidays through Great Value holidays and both have been brilliant. Could not have asked for better. Will book with them again.

We chose the holiday through Great Value Holidays. Excellent communication and information. The hotel was lovely (Siro) in the middle of the port town Tivit. Beautiful hotel, modern and very clean. Food was fantastic. 10 minutes from the airport. A taxi should cost no more than 20 euros. Public transport is great. You can get to most resorts from 2-6 euros per person. The people are lovely and friendly. Will definitely be going back.
Food is roughly the same price as UK. The quality is a lot better. Beer 4 euros and a glass of wine anything from 2 - 7 euros.

We used Great Value Holidays for the first time to book a trip to Gibraltar. The booking process was easy and the price was excellent. The holiday itself went very smoothly and was exactly as described. We will definitely use Great Value Holidays again.

Everything was so well organised with the transfers working perfectly and a super hotel. The booking staff could not have been more helpful. They answered the phone so quickly and sorted out a problem that I had created very quickly.

Our 5 day break was very successful, 2 very good hotels, a little more advice as to how far the metro was etc would have been helpful.
A small hiccup was rectified satisfactorily.

Claudia was a great guide and she gave us lots of interesting information about the places that we were visiting. All the places that we visited were lovely apart from the winery visit. I don't drink wine so I didn't enjoy this visit ,although we had a nice lunch there, but I know that other people on the trip did enjoy it and you can't please everyone every time, as different people like different things. The included dinners in the hotels weren't very good, especially the meat, but the rooms were nice. The location of Hotel Rosa was great, just a short walk to the lake, I had a lovely afternoon there when I arrived. The included lunch in Bologna was excellent, one of the best meals I had on the trip. It was great that we were able to do a group booking for the gondolas in Venice, this made it more affordable for everyone and I really enjoyed it. It was good having the guided tours and then having free time to look around on our own, Claudia was good about telling us were our meeting point was and what time we needed to be there. I really enjoyed my holiday, it was well organised and good value.

Staying onboard the Sunborn in Gibraltar, seeing the planes land and views of the Marina and the Rock made the stay special.

We were very lucky with the weather but Bled is a delightful place. The hotel was perfect although the price of food and drink is very high, luckily we were on half board. If I was asked would we do it again the answer is definitely yes

Really good value for money. Before we left for our trip, needed to speak with someone from Great Value Holidays, that person was very professional, polite and helpful. Not once did we get put on hold or have to be put through to anyone else.
. The trip far exceeded our expectations. The accommodation and location was outstanding.

Booking was easy and the portal has all the information at hand. Holiday was great and worth the money.

Our holiday included 4 nights at the hotel with breakfast, air fares, transfers and 2 excursions. All travel went smoothly. The hotel, an older building, was clean and comfortable. All staff were helpful and friendly. We had a problem with the TV, which couldn't be fixed, so they gave us a different room with a view of the Eyjafjord. The breakfast was substantial and catered for all preferences. We were picked up on time for our first evening excursion, and our knowledgeable guide was excellent. We were fortunate to see an amazing display of the Northern Lights. Akureyri, N.E Iceland is a relatively small town, and you can walk to the town centre with its tourist shops, cafes and most places of interest. Also, the buses are free.
Being winter, there were no tourist information shops open, but you can get a map and brochures from the Whale Watching Booking office near the Hof Cultural Centre. The Classic Whale Watching tour leaves from there at 1 pm, all year. The crew gave a running commentary of where to look, and we were fortunate to see 3 humpbacks diving and feeding about 1.5 hours from Akureyri. This tour was not part of our holiday package. The tour we had vouchers for was the Forest Lagoon thermal pools, but we weren't particularly keen and chose not to go. The pickup place in town wasn't clear, as our voucher mentioned 2 different places and times for the free shuttle.
Overall, this winter trip would suit people who are prepared to find their own way around and like to seek out new experiences. Be prepared for cloudy days and a cold wind, with temperatures about minus 4 to minus 10. We were lucky that most days had some sun and clear evening skies. Customer service in all places was excellent, friendly and helpful. We had an amazing time and would certainly go again.

Nice weekend in Gibraltar, the Sunborne Yacht is gorgeous. Two days was enough to see everything that Gib has to offer. Very good value.
