Fabulous week on Kapetan-Kosmos!! The captain and crew were exceptional in assuring our week long voyage in the Greek Isles was safe, comfortable and fun! The places we visited on our cruise were all spectacular, and the meals were "over the top". Can't wait until our next voyage with greece by sail!

We recently spent two separate weeks on Syrolana, one of the boats owned by Greecebysail.com. One was in the Ionian Islands and the other in the Cyclades. We felt like royalty. The captain and crew went above and beyond in their treatment of the guests. The food was fabulous and the little coves and hidden beaches where we stopped to swim were safe and gorgeous. We were fortunate too that all of our fellow guests on both trips were personable and fun. We ate together on the afterdeck and often ashore. Ten to twelve passengers is a good number. I would highly recommend a trip with this company. Good food, good company, beautiful blue water, actually sailing, and warm sun, what more could one ask?

Wonderful experience going between the islands of Greece. The crew was just unreal and went out of their way to make sure all of our needs were met. The meals we enjoyed onboard were cooked on the ship and were delicious. A lot of preparation went into buying fresh fish and ingredients when we stopped at the islands. Overall, outstanding experience. Highly recommend!!

As an American couple in our mid 40's, we had a wonderful time on this cruise. The beds were comfortable and showers hot! Room space is snug, but that is to be expected on a private vessel like this. Our cabin size was perfect for us. When spending the night at port, you may want to bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The crew were multi-lingual and so very interesting! We enjoyed our time with the crew who were unique, personal, upbeat, intelligent, courteous and professional. Even though a language barrier made things a bit tricky, we enjoyed our time with the other guests who were French (sadly we practiced Greek phrases before our trip and should have practiced more French :) I liked the flexibility of the itinerary as the weather often impacted where we could dock or anchor for the day. Our Captain (Nicolas) and first mate (Theo) were seasoned professionals! Our meals (prepared by Masha) were delicious, traditional, expertly made, and timed nicely. We enjoyed the morning sailing to our destination and overlooking the beautiful sea. We'd stop for a swim, sup board, snorkel, or to take a nap in the sun at a spot with no or few other boats. At the first sign of rough seas, I managed my seasickness with bands and sea sickness pills. I did just fine in that area as long as I took the pills early enough. This trip is wonderful in that it omits all the additional ferries/planes one would typically have to take to see 8-10 islands. You could actually just relax on this cruise and not worry about when you have to leave next. You had the opportunity to explore islands (especially the less touristy ones) without being rushed. Lunches on board were long and leisurely. If we arrived early at a port, we would often walk (you could taxi or bus up) the old (donkey) steps up to the local town weaving our way around businesses and houses. On several islands, we rented quads or scooters to see sites a bit farther away. Be careful and be sure to have an international license. Taxis and buses can bring you around as well, but we enjoyed the freedom to make our own itinerary. Most Greeks were careful to wear a mask and happy to have visitors. We tried to find restaurants off the beaten path. We highly recommend Greecebysail! It was a dream come true.

We had the most amazing trip in June 2021 on the Syrolana! Captain Manolis along with Emy and Ilios made our experience enjoyable, memorable and safe. The food was amazing, the swimming spots crystal clear, and the overnight ports interesting to explore. This was truly a trip and experience of a lifetime and I would highly recommend!

I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants a unique and personal sailing experience. On our way to Greece, we had our catamaran cruise cancelled on us a week before we were due to set sail so we scrambled a bit to find an alternative. In our search, we found greecebysail.com and booked the trip 5 days before the sail date. We hadn't even thought about the northern islands of Greece but they are beautiful and the crew we had (Niko, Masha and Teo) were absolutely top of the line. The sailing experience, food and fun was something we will talk about for many years. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a unique sailing experience.

This was by far the trip of a lifetime! The crew was amazing. They were helpful, informative, accommodating and all around fun. They kept us safe and made wonderful suggestions. We laughed, danced, swam, snorkeled, explored, ate amazing food and relaxed both in the sun and in the shade. The sail boat was perfect for our family of 12. I highly recommend greecebysail.com!

We had the most fabulous week onboard Kapetan Kosmas summer 2021, as cabin charter. The captain and crew took so well care of us, listened to our expectations and did thier utmost to make them come true. Breakfast and lunches were perfect, not much more to ask for. This was our second trip with the company, the first was on Anatolie some ten years ago, when we also had a blast. We will surely be back sooner rather than later.

Beautiful wooden and comfortable boat (and calm! no noise of generators), sailing and stopovers really superb, confidential anchorages, brilliant and sweet crew (idem for the back office, always very efficient and responsive), kayak and paddle at disposal, captain always with good advice for shore visits, food worthy of a restaurant. Everything is perfect !
I have already sailed with them in the Sporades, the Ionians and the Cyclades and I will definitely come back to discover the other journeys I have not yet made.
