I have used Griffin's several times over the last 12 months - the most recent in January 2025 - for selling a variety of antique / vintage items including medals, post cards, Meccano, clothes, jewellery, watches etc . Friendly, offer helpful and informed advice and generally the lots have got good prices. Recommended. And they have good parking!

Simply the best auctioneers out there
Simply the best auctioneers out there. Items won on Tuesday afternoon were received in the post the next morning. Unbeatable service and highly recommended to anyone. Why can't all auction houses be like this?

Everything a modern auction house should be.
Friendly, helpful and very good to deal with. They were able to work with me to facilitate collection of a really large selection of won lots. Premises themselves are really easy to get too with ample parking / loading space.
Everything a modern auction house should be.

Very good service and advice
I had a lot of paintings to sell but didn't want to sell them too cheaply so asked Patrick Collyer who is the senior valuer at Griffins, for advice. I ended up putting my paintings through Griffin's auctions and I am very pleased with the service so far. My paintings have sold for a very good price so I'm glad that I went there. Communication is also very good with Patrick too, I can send an email and get a reply back pretty quickly. I can recommend Griffin's auctions
