Lies deceit and insults (used car)

Lied to convince me to buy their car - mocking, gaslighting and belittling begins after buying.

Before putting a deposit I had asked them clearly, to send me photos of any small damage or even wear and tear to help me decide if i should proceed with the purchase as I don't live in Canberra.
From day one they tried avoid sending real unedited closeup photos and videos claiming the car perfect. Sales guy said - Canberra cars are well maintained, don't have damages there is low traffic and weather is mild. Even after repeated requests, he resisted - this was a big red flag. As they are a big dealership I felt they wouldn't lie to me like a cheap road side fraud dealership.

When I asked if they can allow an independent inspection, they convinced me, that it would be waste of money as they are respected dealership and there are 0 defects in the car.
After a week I went to pick the car. When reached there, I found the car was nothing like they promised it was. Wheels were scratched, there was a dent on the passenger side of the car, and the rear bumper has strange protruding piece, strange and unexplained.
One seat was torn and internal scratches on the driver door. I also saw a sticker on the windscreen which had a near perfect star, i felt it might be a sticker from previous owner -> remember this one is another surprise.

I was in a hurry so didn't complain straight away. I then took the car for mechanical inspection, as I didn't want to trust the dealership's word for mechanical reliability. They found the rear shocks were sweating and break pads were almost worn out. I informed the sales agent over the phone about this. When i returned, the sales agent had serious face as if he really didn't like me questioning them -> Red flag 2 - manipulation. Coming from far away to pick up the car with no transport back. I accepted their counters, that car is still reliable.

Even after looking at the damages on the body, I felt - what worse could happen, after some negotiations on leather seat repair (they refused to fix other damages), I signed the sales agreement. In hind sight, they had worn me off by constant pushbacks and hostile reactions. I just wanted to get over with. I was also unwell and was on medication so I wasn't the sharpest in observing other defects.

When i was taking the car home from delearship parking, I saw dent on the 2nd row driver side door, almost all paint worn off on a small edge of the driver door, and a small dent on the driver door. I asked sales person what the hell is this. Why have they been hiding so many defects from me. Sales agent again made a face acting as if I was being annoying now. I couldn't do anything as I had already signed the documents and I was getting very late.

Next day I went to get a new registration plate. I opened the registration plate holder, and found the rear plate was bent. Clear indication of an accident. I went back to check what was wrong why are there so many unexplained damages on the rear. Saw a cracked bumper lip, dent on the boot lid -> scratch on the dent can be seen in the photos of carsales when i looked carefully.

I sent a message to the sales guy why was i lied repeatedly, how can they not know about all these defects and why were pictures not shared before I paid the deposit, he replied that I am buying a second hand car, what was I expecting. -> gaslighting at best, belittling.

Few days later, while cleaning the windscreen, I realised that the sticker which I saw on the windscreen was from windscreen repair shop near their dealership and under it there was a star crack. I immediately sent out an sms to the sales guy, why was this fact being hidden from me, the windscreen could have cracked while driving on highway and caused a major accident. No response, and when i insisted he should respond, he responded saying he was not responding as he was "tired" of my messages and I had damaged the windscreen and put a sticker on it. I should stop complaining as I got a second hand car.

If you want be treated like shit buy from them. They think they sell porsche so anyone buying cars cheaper than porsche are shit. Even after being a "big" dealership they are worse thn dodgy second hand car dealership.

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service, advertising an ex-demo vehicle but it is never in store to actually see. Making customers wait for days before still not answering their questions. Incredibly disappointed in how they don't value their customers. Having spoken to others in Canberra, I believe they are "known" for this treatment of their customers. Buyer beware.
