Excellent Service and Quality!

We had our carpets fitted today and couldn’t be happier with the overall experience. The quality of both the carpets and the fitting is excellent. The team arrived right on time, worked efficiently, and completed the job quickly without compromising on quality.

The finish looks fantastic, and the entire process was smooth and hassle-free. It’s great to see such professionalism, punctuality, and attention to detail.

Joe and Doru’s team did an excellent job installing our flooring in March. The workmanship was very good, and we were really happy with the result.

About six months later, we experienced some issues with the flooring due to normal floor expansion. I contacted them for assistance, and despite the distance and the fact that their team members were quite far away, they went back to help us resolve the issue.

I really appreciate their commitment to their customers and the fact that they were willing to come back and help even months after the original installation. Great service and highly recommended!

I organised this job from overseas and had a fantastic experience with this firm aside from the beautiful finished flooring, both Liz in the office and Doru the contractor pulled out all stops to get my job finished in a very tight schedule- would highly recommend this firm/ well done all 👍

Big thank you to Liz for being a great point of contact throughout the whole process. Responding quickly and providing guidance and support where needed. The crew who put the floor and skirts down were terrific and worked at top speed without compromising quality. They arrived at the time the confirmed and were extremely efficient. The result is absolutely great!

This is one of the most unprofessional flooring companies I have dealt with. I contacted Joe well before getting the house and showed him the flooring I wanted. He committed to sourcing it for us. However, after we got the house and paid a €4,000 deposit toward the agreed €6,000 flooring cost, he suddenly said he could no longer get the flooring. With very little time and no real alternative, we were forced to choose flooring from a company’s website which he suggested.

As soon as his team arrived, they pointed out that the floor was uneven and claimed the flooring would not last unless it was levelled. They offered floor levelling for an additional €1,800, with a guarantee that there would be no issues with the flooring. I agreed and paid the additional €1,800. The levelling was completed, followed by the flooring installation in June 2025.

Unfortunately, the flooring was installed very poorly and started coming apart within a month. I contacted Joe in July 2025, and he promised to send his team to fix it. After several reminders, a couple of team members inspected the floor and confirmed that it required major work. They also arranged for me to speak with their team lead, Doru, who reassured me that he would personally return after his holidays to resolve the issue. He never did.

I continued following up with Joe, with all communication documented, but despite several commitments, nothing was resolved.

Finally, in March 2026, Joe agreed in writing by email to either fix the flooring during the last week of July or refund €3,000 if they failed to show up. In mid-July, he requested to postpone the work by another month due to the holiday season and his team's workload. As a courtesy, I agreed. However, neither Joe nor his team ever returned, and he is now ignoring my messages and calls as I have asked for the refund. This is an SPC flooring.

This has been an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience.

Dont fall for the sales pitch from Elizabeth or Joe that a 4 bed semi d would be done in 2 days, even with herringbone design. I told them a million times there's time pressure as I'm pregnant and we have all our furniture coming the week after, including my dad who flew over to help. We started with delays already day after day and kept on having to call Joe to tell him that there is barely progress and the clock is ticking. Then we found out the main tiler coco is doing some random tile work with the neighbors 😅 like wth...he always had good excuses why and kept promising it will be done by "tomorrow noon" or "tomorrow end of day" etc. After 2 and a half days of prep work, they finally picked up the tiles from9 the supplier Tilemerchant.ie and then we got the call that ALL TILES were damaged. So it was either choosing last minute some tile that fits herringbone and is in stock OR wait another month for the new order to come in. How bizar is this that tiles are not ordered earlier and not even checked earlier upon booking their services a month before. As you guessed, we're expecting a baby so time is of the essence and we had to choose different tiles on the spot. These tiles were a bit more expensive (difference 707 euro in total). Weirdly enough the quote we got from Liz said any tile from Tilemerchant for the given quote...but yet we were forced to pay the difference. On top of that after many days of pushing to get the so called 2 days job done in 7 days, they just randomly told us on the last day that we have to pay 1800 euro extra as the floors were not even enough...its a damn new build house checked by snagger for leveling and it was even. Yet we ended up paying 2.5k extra with never any heads up that there were issues. I can't believe i have been so stupid and nice to actually pay this.
On top of that, the utility room was not done in herringbone style cause it was "too difficult"😅 so basically they laid the tiles straight and I had to discover this afterwards, nothing was asked or discussed with me..and i never got any discount for either delays or this type of negligence. Skirting boards were damaged but it was not too bad compared to the stress we had dealing with Joe and his sub contractor (tilers only, not the other guys for laminate or stairs/carpet). The skip was left in front of our driveway for another 2 weeks by Coco the tiler, its only after me calling the recycling company and putting pressure on them by email and phone calls that suddenly within 24h the skip was picked up.
I gave a 2 rating cause I was very happy with the man who did our stairs and carpet, very friendly and professional and also because upstairs the other guys who done the laminate were also professional, neat and precise and for now we have not noticed any issues there. So we ended up paying 13.5k instead of 11k, and we only agreed to 11k because they said they have massive teams that get the job done in 2 days. So yes, false promises and I feel ripped off, the more I talk about our experience to other people the more I get surprised reactions of why the hell we paid them for those extra last minute costs OR if we actually checked the tile suppliers side cause perhaps the tiles were not damaged but Hamptons either didn't put enough order in and realized their screwed forcing us into making a decision on the spot or waiting another month which they know we wouldn't.
Please don't pay anything to this company if they do not deliver what they promised, don't be nice like us.
Just want to say that we had a bad experience with them but never was Joe or Liz rude in their communication but they were just never truthful either. It's not a way of doing business and I do regret paying them the extra random costs with no proof.

We recently engaged Hamptons Floor Store to complete the flooring for our entire new build house, covering approximately 250 sqm with a mix of wood flooring and carpets.
​Throughout the process, our primary point of contact was Joe. Unfortunately, we experienced some frustrating supplier delays that were entirely beyond his control. However, Joe’s communication was exemplary. Despite funds being settled in advance, his professionalism never wavered; whenever I reached out for an update, he responded immediately, even on weekends. He was consistently transparent, honest, and provided proactive updates, ensuring I never had to chase him for information.
​The installation itself was a true team effort. We dealt with Doru for the wood flooring and Stephen for the carpets. Both were highly skilled and absolute professionals to work with. While the quality of work from both was excellent, a special mention must go to Stephen for his outstanding customer service and attentiveness throughout the carpet fitting.
​Hamptons Floor Store operates as a fantastic team, and I cannot recommend them highly enough for their professionalism and quality of service.

Can’t recommend this company highly enough. They were fantastic to deal with from start to finish.

A company is only as good as its team, and the lads who came out to fit the flooring in our house were absolutely top class. Their workmanship was excellent, they were professional, friendly, and couldn’t do enough to make sure we were happy every step of the way.
