Good, but read the small print!
Cannot fault the item, great laptop, however…
They took a £50 random payment out the blue for ‘insurance’, on top of my £167 p/m lease, which was hidden in my small print, and not in the actual lease repayments.
They then took a further £120 for an ‘admin fee’, again, on top of the £167 p/m lease, something which, again, is hidden in the small print, and was never explained to me when signing up, quite deceptive practices really.
Other thing I really wasn’t happy with was the amount of bombardment calls & emails asking “am I still interested”, I was at the time, in ICU with pneumonia, and really wasn’t interested in having them all me so many times throughout the day.
If you just explained from the offset “there is a £120 admin fee, and a £50 fee for insurance” I’d have been fine with it. It’s the sneaky way you went about it that’d annoyed me (whether it’s in my lease or not).
Other than that, like I said, the laptop itself is great, just what I need, and can’t really fault the speed they got the item dispatched to me, just be more open and honest with your customers.

We take these comments seriously and have looked into your concerns. Firstly, as you couldn't provide a business email address, we unfortunately had to request additional information for the lease paperwork to pass our KYC checks as required by the FCA. Hence there was more comms needed, and we were unclear if you were receiving our messages.
Secondly, regarding the insurance fee, you are required to have insurance in place for the device. Since you didn't provide proof of cover, a policy has been added. This cost covers a year's insurance and can be removed and refunded if you provide proof of cover from elsewhere. An automated email is sent reminding you of this to avoid unexpected insurance costs. Tom Barnett is your contact here who can help with refunding this.
Lastly, the admin fee is clearly stated in the paperwork and is not hidden. We believe it is one of the most competitive fees in the market.

Prompt and clear communication from Support

Michelle was very speedy and helpful in helping me fix and replace my broken laptop. She replied very quickly to my emails and ensured the replacement laptop was sent in time for me to receive it the next day. The issue was fixed within a few hours with no hassle or stress.
