If you're thinking of buying a car here I would think again. Dealing with this company has been a truly terrible experience.I purchased a Campervan in June and immediately regretted it. I spent a lot of money on this vehicle and initially they did have it back for a week to put my list of 27 items right. But all they did was do more bodged up work to cover up the issues. It has 3 rooflights all of which have leaked water. Two of the side windows have leaked water. I've just spent £400 to repair the air conditioning, the water storage tank leaks and the list goes on. When I call them they fob me off or try to make it my fault. I'm truly sick and tired of it. It has been converted under the name of Bear Campers and has been built to a very poor standard with cheap parts.
Please,please don't be a stupid as me. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere

From start to finish hearsall common car sales were fantastic- very quick and informative and made sure i had everything i needed before i drove away in my lovely new ford fiesta - great level of customer service and very pleasant and easy to deal with. would 100% recommend!
and the car itself was in great condition nothing was hidden from me and made aware if i spotted anything on the car i wanted fixing or touching up to make them aware and they would do that for me, if they could, but there was no need as the car was already in an immaculate condition and was an easy choice for me!

This was fast and professional. Car looks great and as described. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Purchase a car which they put a new mot on with zero advisories the car has a bad oil leak which I fixed on my own warranty not a problem. But whilst at the garage I noticed both front tyre’s were illegal after only 700 miles . I called them to ask how the tyres could be in such a state to which the said don’t accuse us of putting a V fake mr on the cat and I should call the mot station. Which I did and they said the Reyes were ok upon inspection at mot 700 miles / 3 week ago and that I had worn down tyres From 3m. To minus 1km in that amount of mileage. I’ve spoken to a number of tyre fitting companies that say this is not possible (which it seems correct to me). So not impressed with state of car and response when I mention ryes

Picked new car up today everyone was lovely and helpful

Where to start, at the beginning all was good found a car ( vauxhall astra) spoke to garage and agreed to buy.

Collected car on 3rd of June 2024 and while driving home the clutch pedal dropped to floor. Next morning I went out to the car to go to work and it wouldn't start. Spoke to garage and they told me to get the car back to them and they would fix it. Told them I couldn't start it and I would have to see how I could plan to get it back to them.

Eventually I arranged a rac mechanic to start the car and I drove it back to them Saturday 8th of June, they had the car for 8 days ( they did provide a courtesy car for the 8 days) when I collected it Sunday 16th the guys told me the car was fine and I would have no more issues driving home at 4pm Sunday and clutch dropped again. Called them monday to explain and I was made to feel the issues were all in my head.

The following day I was told they would arrange to get car fixed through the warrenty so I didn't need to drive the car back to them again (80 miles) disappointingly it was myself that had to find and arrange the garage ? The garage it went on to identify the clutch pedal switch was broken and it had lots of electrical faults on the engine management system.

At this point I told the garage the car was more hassle than it was worth and I was returning the car which I did on 3rd of july. Had to get rac out again on 3rd to start the car when he identified there were lots of additional cables and fuses attached to the battery that he could not identify what they were for ?

I had this car in my name for 1 month but only used it for 3 days. Each time I spoke with the garage it seemed like it was too much hassle for them and I was putting them out by calling about the issues ! The best thing about the whole situation is the car I purchased was back up on autotrader the day I called them to say I was returning it and it was still sat broken down on my drive ( it is still on autotrader now) . I'd hate to think of someone else paying £5000 for a car with that many issues.

I am a very positive person and I hate giving bad reviews as sometimes its just bad luck but at no point with these guys did I feel like I was worthy of their time to resolve the issues. The only positive I can find from the whole experience is the issues happened so soon after buying the car and I was able to cut my losses. I was left with a bill of approximately £400 for rac, garage fees, petrol to return/ collect car and train tickets (nobody at hearsall was interested in this) but I guess that is life.

I went to this garage because of some positive reviews on the Internet and unfortunately I find these very hard to believe given my experience of them .... if I had to offer one would of advice to any prospective car buyer about hearsall common car sales it would be ......AVOID

Great service all round

Having recently bought a car for my son, I found the overall service to be first class, the gentleman were thought of every thing and took the stress away of buying my sons first car, would certainly refer to a friend.

Disappointed that I hadn’t listened to the rest of the reviews 😢 I’m another casualty as a result. Please don’t be their next.

Took these to court last year for the same reason that all the other poor reviews had. They settled out of court just before the court date. They don’t even have the common sense to spread their fake positive reviews around. They always appear in blocks. Usually about 7 or 8 within 2 days to boost their average. Please for your sanity, avoid this place. Fraudulent, dishonest people who distort the reputation of their trade.

Bought a car here just a couple of months ago and am waiting today for the scrap yard to collect and crush it. Car appeared ok on collection and had new MOT the previous day. Just 5 miles down the road the engine management light lit and within another 50 miles the engine sounded like it had been filled with loose nails. Took it to a garage and they confirmed the code was a knock sensor and as we all know it is easy to clear codes and that they will not show again for a limited time. I suggest that this company have a "tame" MOT tester as on inspection there we're so many faults that should have failed an MOT including boots, suspension, worn driveshaft and exhaust. Has now broken down and deemed not economically viable to repair so as I said is now being scrapped. Just be careful and as the old saying goes "if it looks too good to be true, it probably s not"

Traveled 2 hours to view a car no one was interested plus the car was in very poor condition way over priced rusty breaks and discs looked like it's been sat in a river

I bought a Mercedes-Benz GLA back in October 2024, and I have had problems with it almost as soon as I took it out from the garage. A few weeks after my purchase the car started to show signs of not having enough power in the engine, and once it totally stopped in the middle of Knowle High Street. I took it to a Mercedes garage and they told me that there was a very bad carbon built up, so they have to change several pieces and clean the build up with the hope that it would work, otherwise I would have had to replace the DPF filter. I have spent at least £4000 in repairs in the last weeks, over the £11000 that I paid to these scammers, they also had to change the pressure sensor as it was not the original one, so it was giving me problems, as well. The garage said that this company should have noticed the problem as the build up was quite bad, and it could have result in my engine to totally stop working due to a possible damage. On top of this, the insurance that they proposed me to use (A1 Approved) didn´t want to cover the repairs. Please stay away from this car sales company!

I did leave a review weekend I was wrong with items I did comment on the garage have been in touch and explained I am really happy with and the washer motor I am going the weekend and they said they will sort straight way which is really great

It came the time that I needed a larger car for the family, after searching online I came across hearsall common cars, they appeared to have lots of stock available exactly what I was looking for as I was undecided which model to go for.

I called up and spoke to Ricky who was very helpful and arranged an appointment, couldn't of asked for a better experience Ricky, after explaining my familys needs and requirements he found me the perfect car.

3 months later the car has been great (I went for a Audi q5)
