If I could give this company 0 stars I would. Only thing worse than the equipment is the tech support.

A thumbs up for "Jay" at Heartland Computers in Council Bluffs. She is very polite, respectful, and professional. My laptop needed a new keyboard. This particular model laptop required everything to be removed bottom->up to replace the keyboard. I brought my own part (new keyboard). Jay was able to get it installed that day. I observed she used anti-static gloves (yay!). While the price was slightly higher than I wanted, having someone else perform the 3-hour job, having them include costs such as thermal paste in the "job price", freeing me up to do other things for three hours, and having the job completed the same day was well worth the cost. If asked, I would recommend contacting Jay for computer support.

If you want a knowledgeable, patient and reasonable priced teacher Roger is your man. He explained things in such a way that I felt very comfortable and the prices were very reasonable and worth every penny. He also offers free classes for seniors and I am signed up and on the waiting list. I can't wait to participate because he was a teacher of technology at a college and his teachings skills were very evident from the very first minute we started to work together. He is a gem and I would highly recommend him to anyone. I will definitely return in the future. He takes appointments but sometimes he can work you in that day. He has the capabilities to fix anything in electronics. He also has repair plans which are optional but very affordable. In addition, he has offices in Council Bluffs and Omaha.

I am 98 years old lady from Missouri Valley and known Heartland Computer since they open up in Missouri Valley. Roger is very personable, very patient and very helpful. He is an excellent tech and has a great personality and works well with people. I recommend him highly.

Great service. I love to have them here in town. Expert in computer stuffs. Go there before go anywhere. You will like their service. Highly recommended. A+

I found new computer guru Roger at Heartland Computer who helped me last couple days to resolve my computer issue. He was very patient with me and took time to explain line by line. Not only he explain me but also wrote whole thing the way I understood. I am so grateful that I found him. I would highly recommend to all my friends and family.

WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!!
Like a lot of internet shoppers, I researched this site ratings on line. I was not able to find any feedback on ResellersRating and Google. On their site they do show BBB A+ rating so I made a purchase, hoping that I will be happy with it.
In the product description they do mention "Usually ships within 24 hours".
About two days later no updates. I called probably more than 10 times no answer. I sent multiple emails asking about order status - no reply.
There are quite a few telephone numbers listed on their website, most of them have been disconnected. There is also a chat window on their site which is allays OFF LINE.
So finally I did get someone on the phone, that person asked me the order number and my phone number to call back with order update.
About ten minutes later I received an email that said the order has been cancelled and refund issued, no explanation why!!
The same time HeartlandComputers store raised the price on the same product by 20%. They probably figured now they can sell this product for more money.
My recommendation is: stay away from HeartlandComputers store, at less you can walk in to the store. Your time is not worth wasting on waiting on updates or trying on contacting them. And at the end they will cancel your order anyway.
