Ik had nog nooit van Helly Hansen gehoord, maar ontving vandaag een pakketje met kerstkaarten dat ik in december bestelde, maar dat PostNL per abuis bij deze firma afleverde. Uiterst netjes dat ze de extra moeite namen om het ons toe te sturen, terwijl ze het ook gewoon in de prullenbak hadden kunnen gooien.

Still in the Dark ages - Don’t buy from HH

Customer service absolutely awful. 5 days and waiting to process an order. AI has you going around in circles.
Will never order from HH again. And as per reviews here - HH needs to get its act together. So many other worthy options available. Can’t believe companies still operate like it’s the dark ages

Helly Hansen soft shell Ski pants

Helly Hansen soft shell Ski pants. £180.00.

these are much thinner 'soft shell' fabric than any other ski pants I've had - but. hey this is Helly Hansen maybe they have discovered a more technical Soft shell.

or maybe not

These ski pants with a base layer did nothing by way of keeping warm.
but worse than that - the production quality could give Shein a run for its money but at least Shein are cheap.
1) Not on of the seams are sealed or glued. ( Ski pant seams not sealed ????)
2) the leg seams are overlocked and stitched
3) Not one of the seams are top-stiched - which would add a layer of strength.
4) the thread used has to be the cheapest cotton possible and after one wear some of the thread has broken
and to add to that ...... The fabric has not been waterproofed. Ski pants that let in water ( rain or snow) that don't insulate can't really be called Ski pants
I sent out 4 emails to various sections of the company with my comments on the quality ( or lack of) production

Nothing

I filled in a customer service form and after 2 week standard reply asking for photographs.

The pants are made in China - but there is good production in China .

These pants did not come from one of those factories but to be honest - someone oversaw the quality control and failed miserably.

Shame on a company like Helly Hansen which is now proven to be expensive rubbish.

Bad service!

Ok shoes, terrible experience returning the shoes as they didn’t fit, even though I ordered half a size bigger as recommended. It’s been 15 days since I returned the shoes and I still haven’t heard anything from them!

Ich habe fast 900 € für Segelkleidung auf der Nordsee (Schottland und Irland) gekauft und an allen Nähten zog der Wind durch. Getestet habe ich die Kleidung 6 Wochen in 2025. Die Antwort von Helly Hansen, ich soll den Leitfaden lesen und Funktionsunterwäsche kaufen. MADE in CHINA ist wohl eher der Grund!

Mijn naam is Thomas Vermeer en ik heb laatst een geweldige jas van jullie bested en ik ben uiterste tevreden. De manier waarop de jas is verpakt en ook nog eens in een gerecycelde doos was perfect. Het voelde al helemaal goed toen ik hem aan had. Ik had het gevoel alsof niks mij wat aan kon doen. Ik ben hartstikke tevreden met deze jas!

Deteriorating quality and no feedback

Quality may have gone down, the website seems to have issues and they may be freezing out reviews to make their products seem higher quality than they are.

Bought two fleeces recently high pile polar fleece was made in china and felt like a plastic rug.

I would not recommend this product at all and the website is not allowing new reviews, which seems suspicious.

Customer service absolutely brilliant

Customer service absolutely brilliant! My year old coat had a broken zip and I wouldn't normally complain but was a really fab coat. Without question they replaced my coat and were so efficient! Always loved their jackets and wont hesitate to buy from them again.

Met black friday een low down parker…

Met black friday een low down parker jas besteld en geruild voor een kleinere maat. Na twee weken geen contact te krijgen, heb ik 2 mails gestuurd en meerdere telefoonnummers geprobeerd. Eindelijk kreeg ik iemand aan de lijn. Die vertelde me dat ik het geld terug krijg en dat het niet omgeruild kan worden omdat er iets fout is gegaan, dus de korting ben ik kwijt. Ik vroeg er nog naar en ik kon ook geen kortingscode krijgen door hun fout. Erg slechte service en zeer teleurgesteld in dit bedrijf.

Disappointed with customer service and pricing transparency

I purchased a jacket during Black Week, advertised at a discounted price of 2475 SEK (originally 3300 SEK). It seemed like a good deal until I later found the exact same jacket at XXL for only 1400 SEK. This left me feeling misled.

When I contacted Helly Hansen to address this, I received a standard reply explaining how to return the item. There was no acknowledgment of my concern about the price difference or any explanation provided. The customer service response felt impersonal and did nothing to address my disappointment.

I expected more transparency and engagement from a brand of this reputation. While the return process seems straightforward, it doesn’t make up for the lack of care in addressing pricing concerns.

I recommend carefully comparing prices before purchasing from their webshop.

Customer care totalmente incompetente dice che non c'è più a magazzino, quando palesemente il prodotto c'è ma non vogliono controllare di più, prendono pure in giro i clienti.
Sconsigliato.

Avoid them at all costs.

I bought a pair of HH waterproof boots from Next for £150. Although not worn on a daily basis one of the tabs used to secure the laces snapped off making the boots unusable after only a couple of months. After exchanging umpteen emails with someone called Ahmed, the matter still hasn’t been resolved. When they eventually confirmed that the boots will be replaced there was radio silence. When asked if they had an update about the whereabouts of the replacement boots they still failed to reply. I feel that if I stop communicating with them the trail will run cold and they’ll just sweep this matter under the carpet. Little do they know I’m currently seeking legal advice to bring this matter to a close. Fair customer service Helly Hansen is not. If you want to throw your money away and pay over £100 for a pair of shoes or boots which only lasts a few weeks or months go ahead. Otherwise keep on fighting for your rights until the issue is resolved. I’ll never recommend anyone to purchase Helly Hansen products.

do not buy from helly hansen. i did but the item was to small so had to send back.noreturns lable the adress i was given had the wrong post code so the post office could not send.had to take the item home found the head office address sent it to them hoping for a refund as yet no ansewer from them .fail to meet my needs very very bad

Una y no más, gracias

Buenas, lamentablemente he caído en la marquitis de los que son posturas y para una vez que me dejo llevar, todo el trasero me mojé. Calidades más que dudosas, materiales plastiqueros, lamentables tintes que destiñen al sol, marcas de roce con las correas de mochilas y partes interiores de brazos con el costado, pésimo mantenimiento del calor, etc. no haré apología de ninguna marca pero llevo saliendo de monte cerca de dos decadas y siempre utilizaba un par de marcas que nunca me defraudaron e incluso topa al uso de abrigo y algodón sin ser técnica y jamás me ha fallado y no he tirado el dinero. Una y no más Santo Tomas, esta ropa es para urbanistas que aparentan hacer…. Como el que compra una maxi trail para sólo ir a por el periódico o pan. Quizás fuera mi unidad, pero viendo la de algún otro compañero…. Un saludo y espero que a vosotros os vaya mejor. A mi no me ve el pelo más esta marca.

I was very disappointed

I was very disappointed. I just bought a Helly Hansen winter jacket to replace my now 10-year-old HH winter which I loved and has been of great quality. The new jacket does not compare and after one day of use sip on the hood broke without me even touching it. 😕😕

Poppers not working on the front of the…

Poppers not working on the front of the coat after one month after purchase. Have to send the £300 coat to a Scottish shop to be mended, at my own cost for postage. Which has to be tracked and insured. Once month after purchase and would have expected better. Would have expected a replacement coat.

Your order has been cancelled

Second attempt to buy a £500 jacket. Some months ago I tried to buy the same jacket online. It was proving difficult to make the purchase. I contacted Helly Hansen to be told the stock wasn't available and I got the impression there was an issue with the website and stock. So, here we are again. Item in stock and paid for but actually not in stock. Three possible reasons for the issue but they don't know which one. Very disappointing and surprised an organisation like this isn't a bit more switched on.

buena marca nefasta tienda online

HH es una gran marca de calidad. Su web y tienda es una calamidad. Pides, te cobran y luego te cancelan el pedido sin motivo (diciendo que no hay stock, pero al mismo tiempo siguen ofreciendo el articulo en su web)

My navy blue Helly Hansen jacket faded badly but HH, now owned by Canadian Tire, were not interested at all. The jacket was made in China using a non-fast inferior dye. If you are thinking about buying a warm jacket for winter avoid HH or you are very likely to be disappointed.
