I passed first time with Michelle. She is an excellent driving instructor and made me feel so relaxed when learning to drive. I had tried to learn multiple times in previous years but got disheartened with other instructors from different schools after failing a test. She is really knowledgeable, was able to work around my busy schedule and taught me things I hadn’t been taught before, even though id had many hours of lessons previously. She is super patient, sociable and was eager to understand how I like to learn to know what approach to take. She also taught me easier ways to remember things and would send videos for me to watch in her spare time, sometimes hours after my lessons had ended. I’m over the moon that I passed today but sad I won’t be seeing Michelle anymore. Honestly, she is the best instructor to learn with and I will be forever grateful!!

After two other driving instructors where I didn’t progress much I found Robbie. Every lesson was fun, improved my confidence and I actually felt that I was learning. I really wish I had found Robbie sooner and not wasted so much money on the others. Robbie was always calm, relaxed, very positive and in very good humour – if I made a mistake then Robbie would just get me to practice again and again. He was never critical. I have now passed with only 3 minor faults. I will definitely be recommending Robbie.

Passed my test yesterday thanks to the all the help and great instruction from Kabir. He was very patient throughout my lessons, always offering clear and useful feedback and helped install the confidence I needed to pass my test. I would recommend Kabir to anyone looking to learn to drive.

Passed first time round with Jay @ Hero Driving School. He was always on time and very accommodating if I needed to change my plans. I always felt reassured and that I was actually learning on all of my lessons. He encouraged me to book my test when he felt I was ready. Unfortunately his car broke down 2 days before my test but he went out of his way to arrange for another instructor to do 2 hours lessons the day before the test and allow me to use their car for the test and I still passed!

To any learner who wants to pass their driving test, this is the school for you. I cannot recommend Hero Driving School highly enough.

I was an incredibly anxious driver who was turned into a more confident driver thanks to Rashed's patience, understanding and the ability to adapt to my learning needs and the situation at hand.

I am pleased to say something that I thought previously impossible has been made possible thanks to Rashed and Hero Driving School.

I learned to drive with Rashed after having some awful experiences with past instructors and with learning manual. I decided to change over to automatic instead. Rashed was always very calm and made me feel less anxious whilst I was learning - I always left a lesson feeling like I had progressed or learned something new.

I took my test earlier on this week and passed first time and which I don’t think I would have done if I hadn’t had Rashed as my instructor. I highly recommend him and Hero Driving School.

I had Mas as my instructor for my intensive course, we did it over a period of 10 days and I can honestly say I have never felt so at ease with an instructor as I did with Mas. He makes you feel so comfortable and confident, even if you are a nervous driver that soon melts away with his support and encouragement. He knows his job inside out and it shows, leaving you feeling 100% ready to smash your test. I passed first time which I always thought was so unlikely but it just goes to show with the right tuition it is possible! Would highly recommend - don't bother looking anywhere else go straight to Heros!

Mas is literally the best instructor ever, very experienced and nice. After so many failures, even I gave myself up, but he was still willing to help me. I secured my test slot only several days before the test date but Mas changed his schedule to give me lessons. On the test date, one hour before the test, he gave me the last-minute practice on a test road on which exactly the examiner asked me drive during the test. It was luck but also showed Mas'rich experience on instructing. I cannot thank him too much for every thing.

A great driving school. The instructor was very useful, warm and kind. She helped me with any problem and was reliable always, even when things didn’t go to plan. I highly recommend

I am so thankful to have been allocated Michelle at Hero driving school! I was an incredibly anxious learner, but Michelle's consistently calm and pleasant manner put me at ease from our first lesson, and together with her excellent knowledge and professionalism, I steadily progressed to passing my driving test last week! Michelle was also very accommodating to my childcare needs, rearranging dates where possible, and sending me a useful reminder text the day before every lesson! I would without hesitation, highly recommend Michelle for your driving lessons!

Jay is an amazing chill driving instructor. He helped me today day pass the exam first attempt although I was really nervous. He reassured me and he was kind enough to come with me to the test centre. Highly recommended excellent school. Thanks a million

I had an intensive course with mas , lasting just over a month. Spent a lot of time with him and cannot recommend enough. Fair price , good banter and great teaching . If you are prepared to put the effort in hero driving will get you passed fist time like me !

Just passed my test, Mas is a a great Instructor and would highly recomend this driving school!!

Having just passed my practical driving test today, I can wholeheartedly recommend Michelle as an instructor. She showed great patience, understanding and expertise in all of our lessons and at no point was I concerned about my safety or rate of progress. If you want to not only pass your test but feel fully confident in driving safely and efficiently, then Michelle is the one to go for.

Kabir was a great instructor to have helping me pass, patient and made sure I understood concepts before moving on. Singled out issues I was having and made sure to cover them again as to have confidence in the test. So thanks to him and Hero for getting me there!

Jay at Hero is a great instructor. He is very patient, professional and assuring. Passed my driving test with him. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for an automatic driving instructor at Colchester.

I pass the exam first time with the help of my instructor Rashed. I’m the 8th learner of him who passed at the first time. I had no driving experience before I start with my instructor. He trained me very well on how to drive safely. With his help, I am confident enough to drive independently. He is a very organised person and works very hard. Before the exam, he covered everything to make sure that I can pass. I was less nervous about the exam when I know that all 7 learners before me all passed. It’s not easy to pass the exam in Colchester, but with the help with Rashed, we all passed in one go! Absolutely 5 stars for Rashed and his driving school.

Hero is a great driving school. My instructor Rashad pushed me to finally pass as I had failed twice before with my previous instructor. Recommendation to hero

Amazing! I had Jay as my instructor and he has the patience of a saint. I am happy to say after all his teaching and only 30hrs of lesson’s I passed first time. Jay was always so helpful, honest and encouraging - I can’t recommend him enough.

I recently passed my driving test first time with the help of my instructor Jay. He didn’t rush me and took as long as I felt I needed to practice before I got it. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he put so much work into making me feel like I was ready for my test with nothing but practice and helpful tips. He’s a really friendly guy and I would highly recommend Jay if you want to learn in an automatic.
