Poor experience
Car dirty, not the class I reserved, not a full tank. Service reminder came up on car which had high mileage. Process to contact hertz difficult and slow. Overall poor experience.

The pick up was horrendous
The pick up was horrendous. They did not have an SUV (I had reserved weeks ahead) and actually had no cars with long unorganized line and complete chaos - they would take people any order they felt like. I eventually had to go to another location out side of CHicago to get an SUV and did not get the car for 3 hours after reservation time. Which really impacted our college move in process.
Then I was emailed a 25% coupon if I use hertz again and the coupon wouldnt work and it couldnt tell me why. I tried to use chat help who just said coupon not valid . I did appreciate the coupon if it worked but ended up making next reservation at AVIS instead.

Disappointing experience

Fraudulent
This location filed a bogus incident report for windshield damage (none existed), made up a reason for the fake damage, and fraudulently signed my name on the incident report. Furthermore, they then claimed I returned the car 4 days after they filed the incident report... avoid at all costs.

Gold member provided with 40k mile jeep…
Gold member provided with 40k mile jeep compass that made way too much noise. I wasn’t allowed to use my gold points to book and there was no support available to assist. Just an awful company
