Your useless checkin emails
Your useless checkin emails. This is my second rental on this trip. On first trip I went through checkin and completed the do and pony show. Ok fair enough.
Secon rental i am sent checkkn email and that one also wanted picture crap.
Not this time. Your software sucks that is what happens when you “vibe code” instead putting effort in
To make it worse I CANNOT CHECKIN USING THE APP. Who made that pathetic decision? Why have the app if it does not have the full capabilities Hertz requires.
Do you care about customers? Do you intentionally waste our time?

We asked upon leaving the rental place…
We asked upon leaving the rental place to verify that we had purchased insurance. The guy who checked us out said yes. However, when we got to our hotel we could not find that indication on our rental agreement. We tried for FOUR days to contact a human in customer service and all we ever got was put on hold, told to call Portland office to just be put on hold more or talk to an AI generated message so your customer service sucks. On top of this we had barely gone down the road and the oil change light comes on. This should be taken care of on your end before renting out a vehicle!
