They really need to improve the customer experience through expectations. Ihave not in the last 5 years received the car I requested. They should only offer by class and make it clearer that you won't receive a specific car. Also, a customer shouldn't have to wait for a laser scan of the vehicle to get a receipt that the car has been dropped off.

Customer service was good. Vehicle I choose was not available which made my rental experience subpar. I reserved and SVU, and all that was available was a sports utility car. That was not what I needed for my family. Hopefully if I choose this location, the vehicle I reserve will be available.

Worst car experience possible, I rent there often and has been good until the last two rentals. They charged me $50 dollars more after I returned it two days early this is after I confirmed if I bring it back I wouldn’t be charged the whole week. Then this week they gave me a dirty car and even after I told them it smelled like smoke they said ok and just put it in the system. But the window was cracked, the tire was leaking air so I had to put air in it the whole trip, and the oil change light came on so it was like Christmas on my dash. Then they told me sorry to hear that but we can’t take money off because you prepaid…

I rarely write reviews even after visiting countless locations, but this experience was so bad that I feel compelled to write one. I arrived at my scheduled time to pick up the car I had reserved, and the employee had no idea which car to give me — he just fumbled with various keys for nearly 30 minutes. After a long wait, he finally told me, "There's no car matching your reservation, only a better one, and you'll have to pay an extra $50 a day, $100 total. There's no other option." When I said I didn't understand why the car I reserved wasn't available, he gave no explanation whatsoever and simply repeated that this was the only car available. Since I absolutely needed a car, I had no choice but to agree to pay the extra $100-plus. But then, just as I was about to receive the car, he suddenly walked off and spent another 30 minutes washing it before handing it over. The customer behind me, who had been waiting far too long, finally complained, and it was that customer — not the employee — who told me, exhausted from waiting, that my car was sitting right there. Last week, at a nearby location, renting a car went smoothly and quickly without any issues at all, so I honestly cannot understand why this location is run this way. I'm still a Hertz member and will continue using the brand, but I will never set foot in this particular location again.

This rental experience was seamless. I’ve had challenges in the past with the vehicle quality yet not this time. My wait time was less than ten minutes and the vehicle was top tier. Great customer service.

Even with a reservation, once again, they didn't have any vehicles to meet my reservation. Vehicle I was rented was not ready, car not clean, gas was down to a 1/4 tank.

Lawrenceville was great. However national operations and service was a nightmare. 5 cars in 5 days and I spent 20 + hours on the phone with non English speakers. Nightmare

Hertz always provides the best vehicles for travel. The price for acweek is always better than the price for acfew days. The company is providing vehicles that don't interrupt your vacation or business travel.

On the day of pickup, the rental was not ready. I was short on time and on a lunch break. I didn’t anticipate a wait for the vehicle. I had to insist I receive the vehicle after a 20 minutes wait. The vehicle was very dirty inside.

I’m not sure what was going on that day but this was the first time I had to wait for a vehicle at Hertz. Perhaps the holiday had things a bit tight as far as inventory.
