The entire staff at 48th street were great.

Went to pick up my car and the location I reserved no longer existed. Was told to go to another location. My car class was not available and the attendant was very rude. Eventually I had no choice but to take whatever was available. Not a way to treat a presidents circle customer. Hert should have notified me of the location change.

Car was ready when we arrived and was the car we reserved. Return was easy. Gentleman who checked us in upon return was so nice and informative. Too bad Hertz closed this location as of September 30.

I returned the electric car with %62 battery from NYC to Boston and they charged 34 dollars from me, it is ridiculus. And the lady at the reception was not friendly.

Quick and easy pick up in the city, easy drop off at the airport.

Pickup in. Allentown was very smooth however the car was not washed and had no windshield wiper fluid.

Drop off however was horrible. The woman at the counter was rude and said my fuel was not full according to the computer. I had a receipt from 3 miles away that showed I filled up. She was too lazy to get up from her desk to check it and made me wait for another employee to check the gas gauge.

I rented a Yukon or equivalent from Hertz on 48th street in NYC, making the reservation more than a week before. When I arrived, they did not have the large SUV for me to take 5 people and 8 bags. They claimed that a minivan was an "equivalent", which is a lie. I am so sick and tired of New York lying bullshit and bait and switch on everything. Stop cheating me. I paid for a large SUV, and you have a contract to deliver this car or an "equivalent". A minivan is not an "equivalent", so Hertz needs to stand behind its contracts for customers that have a 20 year history of renting from them.

I asked the manager to look at the other NYC Hertz centers for the car, and we had to get into a huge fight just to get him to look at the inventory. I am tried of having to yell and scream to get what Hertz promised. This is terrible customer service.

As fate would have it, another center on Lafayette street had this car. I then had to take a 45-minute car to go get it, when I was just in this neighborhood.

I do not understand why I have to get into fights at Hertz to get the car I paid you for already. I do understand why Hertz cannot call me to tell me that the car I need is not available and re-route me to another center. Why do you want to make your customers so angry when, obviously, you do not value 20+ year customers. Why should I not rent from someone else who will honor their contract?

Front desk person was excellent. The car was great and clean.

I am a longtime Hertz customer. I've rented from other companies but overall reliability in keeping to standards is best for me with Hertz

This car rental location is consistently understaffed and frequently provides vehicles that are dirty and/or damaged. In addition, the staff are often rude, which makes the overall experience frustrating. I continue to use this location because it is the closest to my workplace, but I would strongly prefer to use a different provider if that were a practical option

Everything. What I was told at checking in to pick up rental was completely different than dropping off. I was charged an extra $208, she stated it was taxes?! I called Hertz and it was a fuel surcharge, which was refunded. I was charged $75 at checking in that no one in Hertz can explain. Our car gear was broken - Hertz was useless. We had to drive hours out of our way to replace the car. The airport staff was very nice. The check in has stayed full tank but they switched cars at the last second and this car had less then a 1/4. We took pics and called Hertz. It was a mess from start to finish. I was overcharged and lied to.

This is the First time ever that I go to a rental car and everything was ready, and the car I requested was given. The lady that took care of me at pick up and the gentleman at drop off where great too.

There when I needed them most after Avis reservation feel through! So grateful
