I have rented cars from this location for many years.
The quality has dropped significantly.
1) Gas tank not full at pick up.
2) Car never washed and inside trash present.
3) Return staff rude!

I rented a Volvo XC40 Hybrid small luxury SUV but upon pick up was given a crappy Buick Envista with a cracked mirror. Not a fan of the bait and switch. Also as a Hertz Gold member I’m not sure why my rental wasn’t waiting to go when I got there.

Good service on booking, pickup-up, and return.

Tucson airport location - I rent here about every other week. Vehicles are ALWAYS dirty - inside and out. I’ve made a complaint many times and nothing changes. Also, you won’t get the car you actually rented - as their inventory is bad.

The team in Tucson is great. Made the experience really easy.

Always a good selection of cars available. There was no wait, we were able to pickup at the Dollar counter, they’re owed by Hertz. Dollar Joe was very helpful.

I was charged $7+ after I turned in the car with no explanation!

Surprised with Tucson that I cannot just walk out to the car with Presidents Circle Status. And then at 6:30 pm to have only 1 attendant at checkout counter. On receipt of the car, hard water and soap spots all over car causing difficulty seeing through glass and mirrors at night with lights. Otherwise, happy with vehicle. Looks like upgraded from Nissan Pathfinder to Mercedes Benz. Return super simple.

Check was quick, returning, the vehicle I had ordered. Upon return everything went super smooth.

I've been using Hertz for over 50 years with good experiences. The service is quick and accurate, and the people very friendly.

Very easy check in, and a fast, easy return.

I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent rental experience as a long-time Gold Member.

I was unable to update the reservation to another drop-off location, which required me to arrange another rental through National. In addition, when I returned the vehicle at Tucson Airport, I encountered a drop-off representative whose communication was extremely poor. His instructions were delivered in a very rude and disrespectful manner, to the point that I had to tell him, “Please do not speak to me like I am a dog.”

This type of interaction is unacceptable, particularly for a loyal Gold Member. The representative should receive appropriate training in professional and respectful customer communication.

Overall, this rental was a very disappointing experience. I would appreciate it if Hertz would review what occurred and explain how this matter will be addressed.

Hassle free leisure rental of a average mid size SUV, good value for the price.

Professionalism

I made a reservation for a Volvo about 3 weeks in advance and when I picked up my rental, I was given a different car! I was told they didnt have a Volvo available.. no explanation, no a single email or notification that they had changed my rental, that IS NOT OK. I got a similar car but, last minute changes when you already paid for something else is not professional or good costumer service.

The car was dirty on the exterior. I had to go to a car wash to get it cleaned.
