Thanks, glad it's easy to get your collection in and that the price trends are useful.

On multiple copies: the app has always been built around one photo per comic, so each entry shows your actual book. That's why there's no quantity field today. It's a fair point though, and we're working on some new features that may address it.

On finding a specific issue within a series, I'd like to understand exactly what you have in mind, since there may be a quicker way to do it already. Email me at product@hipecommerce.com and walk me through it.

Two things that may help with getting around a collection that size. You can search for a series by name, and under the new "Filters" menu on your My Collection page there's a "Series" option that narrows the view to just that run, so you can browse it on its own instead of paging through everything. If you haven't tried Filters yet, that's probably the quickest fix. Within a run, the pagination shows about seven to nine pages at a time, and tapping the last one brings up the next set, which gets you deep into a long series fairly quickly.

You're right that there's no "go to page" option and no page buttons at the top, and both are fair requests. I'd like to understand exactly where you're getting stuck. Email me at product@hipecommerce.com with the series and what you're trying to reach and we'll look into it.

On pricing, a bit of context. Our numbers come entirely from real sales: tens of millions of actual transactions across HipComic, Heritage Auctions (who share their prices realized with us), and other marketplaces and auction houses, updated in real-time as new sales come in. Many other guides are built on asking prices or manual estimates, which tend to run higher than what books actually sell for, especially for raw books. When our value is lower than another site's, it's usually because ours reflects what the book is actually selling for.

Key issues trade often, so they tend to have the most data behind them, which is why I'd like to see the specific ones you're referring to. Send them over with the values you were seeing elsewhere and I'll have the team review each one.

Many other guides are built on asking prices or manual estimates, which tend to run higher than what books actually sell for, especially for raw books. When our value is lower than another site's, it's usually because ours reflects what the book is actually selling for.

The one place a value can look off is a book with very few recorded sales, where a single outlier can move the number. If you have specific issues in mind, send them over with what you'd expect the value to be and I'll have the team review each one.

On pricing: our values are based entirely on real sales rather than estimates. That's tens of millions of actual transactions across HipComic, Heritage Auctions (who share their prices realized with us), and other marketplaces and auction houses, updated as new sales come in. For most issues that produces values you can trust. Where it gets less reliable is on books with very few recorded sales, where a single unusual sale can skew the number. If you can tell us which issues looked off, we'll review them and correct anything that's wrong.

On new releases from smaller publishers: we add new issues from all publishers as they come out, so if you found titles that were missing, we'd like to know which ones. Send them over and we'll look into why they weren't there.

Better ways to sort and filter a large collection is one of the most common requests we get, and it's on our list. If there's a specific view or filter that would help you most, I'd like to hear it.

Mark, thanks for the suggestion, and good news: cropping before save is now live.

After you take a photo and we show you the catalog match, you'll see a toggle between "Catalog" and "Photo". Tap Photo, then the crop icon in the top right, crop the image, and then save the entry. The same crop option is available on any comic already in your collection, so you can go back and tidy up earlier scans too.
